Renato Lounge in Birmingham

Wonderfully helpful staff, especially as I am gluten and dairy intolerant. Delicious food, great service. For me the music was too loud, but others might not mind.

Lovely staff, really grateful when they spotted that one of the kid's meal was accidentally put in as non-veg and the rest was as veg.

Trendy bar with nice decor like the rest of the chain. Food is good, don't go there for ale there is NONE, not even in a bottle. There is a passable keg pale ale, but boy, it's expensive £6.15 for a pint! Service is a bit slow as the staff all seem too busy to serve customers at the bar. Nice for coffee and cake or a salad, just not for drinking.

Ordered a tomato and mozzarella panini a few weeks ago ( takeaway ), asked for NO smoky sauce and NO rocket. Order arrived with no beef tomatoes, one of the main ingredients. Very disappointing. This was pointed out to staff on next visit. Got told order will be checked next time. Ordered same again today, and again NO tomatoes were included !!!! Currently receiving chemo and choosing food is very difficult as taste buds are severely affected. Food is the one enjoyment I have at the moment. I look forward to my food. Phoned up and got told ' when a customer doesn't want tomato salsa that usually means they don't want tomatoes '....I said " no it doesn't ' ( the sauce is smoky, not a taste I could tolerate ). After putting phone down I realised there was NO MOZZARELLA included either this time, so both main ingredients missing. £7.50 for a bit of pesto on ciabatta!!!! Thought order was supposed to be checked ?. Got told next order would be ' free'..we'll it's not really I have paid for an empty panini already...

Meal and hot chocolate weren't terribly warm. Otherwise quite good 👍

Dull sort of place.' Wait here to be seated' sign was a waste of time. Ordered on line and was prompted for a tip before we had seen a server. Food was delivered over a period of time. Nothing nice about the experience.

A busy place, but we were served in a quick and friendly manner. The food portions are generous and the variety of choices available on the menu is extensive. Highly recommended.

Me and wife came here with our family on Monday and we had a lovely meal for her 30th birthday. My partner is gluten free and the staff were really helpful in taking her order and ensuring her meal was taken care of. The manager (I believe it was Mark) also went above and beyond by putting a birthday candle in her desert without being asked by me or my parents. It was a really lovely surprise 😊

As always very friendly staff very busy so a great atmosphere good choice of drinks my husband chose well going for the halloumi burger I had the fish finger sandwich£9... f/fingers ok but the bread looked like the cheapest own brand farmfoods & tasted very bland (better like the halloumi burger in a lovely brioche bun) which I'll ask for next time

Good food at a good price, and nice busy atmosphere.

Great breakfast in the sun, the big lounge breakfast is a good portion. Always pop in lounges when down in Cornwall, they are always consistently good, this one is no exception. Recommended 👍

Very disappointed by the service never will dine again

I'm new to living near this area, so this will be my new local haunt. Had vegetarian breakfast, really nice, staff friendly and good service.

Love the food here, the decor and the staff and service are really good.

The food was awesome, so many dishes to choose I couldn't decide, so ended up having 2 ( highly recommend the one salad dish)... great atmosphere and friendly staff... will definitely be back.

I have been here a few times and the food is always excellent. The menu is interesting having many influences. I had a Malaysian dish which whilst I can't vouch for the authenticity it was really tasty.

Feels unique and friendly... even though it's a chain. Gorgeous decor and really warm, engaged staff. Plus the coffee is AMAZING.

Went for meal and beer, service was quick, food arrived quickly too

Atmosphere is hit and miss sometimes it’s rammed, sometimes quite quiet and moody so it something you can count on but the food is delicious especially for brunch and the staff were all friendly. Would be good to be able to order at the table as well given we all had some bugs with the website not loading easily (all with different carriers) but we got there in the end.

Always enjoy coming here, food quality is consistent, staff always friendly and atmosphere in winter is just perfect 👌

Stopped for lunch, - when I noticed Nasi Goreng on the menu, I was not disappointed, will go again.

Lovely place for a catch-up with friends. Great coffee and menu. I prefer going here for breakfast/brunch rather than for evening meal though. The breakfast menu, which is served all day, is impressive. The atmosphere is great too.

Nice place with a tranquile and relaxed atmosphere. I used to visit the restaurant for breakfast or brunch or for the tapas menu in the evening. It’s a shame though that the quality of the beers on tap has drop, replacing the brew dog beers by cruzcampo (voted one of the worst beers of the world year after year) has been disappointing so I’m not visiting that much any more

My husband and I fancied a late night dessert - Renato Lounge was still open when we rocked up just before 10pm on a Wednesday and we enjoyed some tasty milkshakes!

Good food and fast service but slightly pricey for what you get.

Service and environment are excellent. Love the decor inside. Always have lovely interaction with staff here and is definitely my favourite place to come for a reasonably priced brunch. Love how it's easy to work in here if you want to also.

Had to wait for a table but not long, food and staff really good.

The server seemed to have charged us for food but didn't put the order in, which was a pain. The food is pretty good, top recommendation is the chicken wings.

Lovely unexpected visit for us, greeted at the door by a very friendly member of staff who showed 3 of us and our dog upstairs to a table, food was very nice, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was exceptional!. We will certainly ly visit again when we're up next from Southampton. Thank you 🙂🙂

A great place for families, families with dogs and also for couples, or just a simple coffee and cake. Service from the manager can be a little hit or miss but it is a nice place overall. Highly recommend.

Always a pleasure going to Renato Lounge in Mere Green. Great breakfast and staff are happy to amend the breakfast as requested. Also a massive shout to the CHURROS!! LOVE EM!!

Lovely service, but unfortunately food was mediocre at best. Beans were slightly warm and mushrooms were almost cold and probably the worst scrambled eggs I've ever had haha Thank goodness the service made up for it!

Nice place sat outside as nice warm evening food was good but had tables smoking and vaping whilst myself and partner were eating will never use again And these were STAFF THAT WERE SMOKINH

Delicious food always. They do a terrific Charros and warm brownie. Recommend the fish finger sandwich with fries added so yummy. Couldn't order online as wouldn't work properly but could order at the bar need to add there WiFi as no signal in there. Can take dogs in 🐾

Renato Lounge is blessed with an amazing kitchen porter who has some serious cleaning skills. Their name may have slipped my mind, but their ability to keep the kitchen spotless is truly impressive. But here's the best part: they're also a dessert genius! The Chocolate Fudge Brownie Sundae they create is absolutely divine. Renato Lounge hit the jackpot with this talented kitchen porter who can clean and create the most delightful desserts.

I went on a mission to Renato Lounge because it is dedicated to local Italian tenor who had a number one hit with Save Your Love as Renee and Renato. There is a painting of them on the wall behind the bar. The staff couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. Lovely food and beautiful decor.

Think they may have new staff and management because the staff are really moody and look like they hate there job, even though is dog friendly you can tell most of the staff actually don't like dogs whereas a year ago to 6 months ago staff were so friendly you could tell they enjoy their jobs and was so dog friendly

Great menu choice for anyone who needs gluten free.

Very busy when we visited but soon taken to a table. Dogs welcome and I saw staff fill a water bowl for a dog even though they were busy. Ordering on line easy and food arrived in good time.

Had tapas meatballs, absolutely gorgeous, chips are always ace. £9.00 for a large Pinot Grigio, £10 for Sauv B is excessive guys.

Top deck is roasting hot. Air con is needed! Not comfortable to sit up there with my baby!

I had high hopes after looking at the menu but was bitterly disappointed. The Nasi Goreng was so greasy I was struggling to eat it, I stopped once I found two hairs lurking in my food - that were definitely not mine. The service was absolute bare minimum. I will not be returning or encouraging anyone else to go.

I go often with a group of elderly and we'd had some lovely mornings here! Staff are so accommodating with us, and food and drinks are always delicious! There is also plenty of space for anyone coming in a wheelchair, and a disabled toilet too which is so helpful. Definitely recommend!
