The good review they keep showing from me stating it's 4 months old is wrong, it's about 5 years old. Have reported this. Used to be a lovely curry, but sadly this is no longer the case. Very poor bland curry that isn't as good as a supermarket ready meal. Don't bother save your money and go elsewhere

Ordered via Uber, waited over an hour and a half, phoned to chase delivery, response was that my order was misplaced, didn't seem bothered, won't be going.back again.

This place is so good customer service food flavour is good everything is good in that restaurant my rating is 5 stars and out of 10 I would give it a 10 out of 10

I have reported this take away for fake reviews. I left a five star rating approximately 4 years ago because it was excellent. However I recently noticed my review is dated as a month ago. We stopped using this take away a few years ago as since the original owner retired it has gone downhill drastically . The menu is now so diverse but of a very low standard. The curries are just bland slop. I can cook a far superior curry at home at a fraction of the cost. If it's the convenience of a take away you need you will be much better getting a ready meal from the supermarket, a lot cheaper and tastes more authentic

Ordered over the phone, person on the phone is very robotic. Food came promptly and was all correct. Unfortunately the portions are tiny and the keema nan had virtually no keema in it. Won't be ordering again.

I was recommended by my son to use this curry house I phoned to place a order the person who answered the phone was just rude I asked him a question then placed a order then asked him another question he just shouted the price then put the phone down this person has no phone manners he should not be answering the phone just be warned I will not be using or my family again.

First time ordering from here after our local, The Spice Hub, closed. We were really impressed. The food was delicious and arrived hot, excellent portions and arrived on time. We will definitely order from here again.

Very rude on the phone didn’t get what we ordered

Had set meal for 1 and special biryani, requested no chicken, sultanas and almond, in the biryani made mistake and put chicken in, apart from that it was beautiful and mixed kebab was so good

I definitely would come here again and recommend to others even after one visit. This was my first time of using and I didn't know it was cash only: I was helpfully pointed towards the nearest cash machine which is at a petrol station nearby and currently doesn't charge to use. The speed of preparation of my order was excellent and the place is clean and well presented. Whilst I walked there so parking wasn't an issue, there didn't look like many parking places nearby, the street is mostly residential. When the food came it was well packaged, always helpful when walking it home before eating! and as an example, the bhajia looked and tasted very fresh, very little oil obviously present. (Hope that makes sense!). All the food was delicious in my opinion and very reasonably priced. I definitely would use again, try something different on the menu (there are *so* many options) and recommend, even after one visit.

I feel compelled to leave a review on this Indian takeaway. Having tried many ‘curry houses’ this is by far the best. It’s probably my 5th time as a returning customer. The main reason being is that the food is fantastic. So tasty and the chicken always fresh also at a fair price , Also is the consistency of the food , I would definitely recommend.

Used to be superb on portion size and quality. Delivery time is significantly longer than stated! In fact it just doesn't turn up an hour after contracted! Im glad that they are doing well as I wont be ordering again as Im still hungry!! Ill go back to my usual place which although more expensive give huge portions of first class food delivered swiftly. Usually i have enough for a lunch portion the next day! AVOID.......they simply dont deliver. You're a mug if you pay by card in advance. What's the deal with charging another 50p for paying on (non) delivery??

I moved house and was looking for an Indian takeaway that was on point! I had a menu dropped through my door and decided to try it due to the hygiene rating............OH MY GOD!!! THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS , HOT AND VERY TASTY. I ordered three times that week! my diet is ruined , summer body will have to wait until 2023. As a foodie i would recommend the mushroom rice, tandoori chicken starter , onion bhajis, and the Buena (spell check) and chapati AND the onion salad AND the mint sauce. I will be back after ive tried some more of their delicious food.

Ordered through JustEat tonight after spending ages looking for a new Indian takeaway, seeing this one had a solid 5 Star hygiene rating. I thought I'd try it. delivered 40 mins later and was very tasty. Chicken and Spinach Balti was nice 👍

Ordered my food by phone, collected shortly after on time. Food was amazing, this is the best take away Curry you can order in Birmingham, and I have tried many.

Ordered from just eat. Food was thirty minutes late. Tried calling them through the app but they have an incorrect number on there so you can't get through. Googled to find the actual number. No apology. Food was okay, peshwari naan sadly very bland. No complimentary poppadoms.

First order tonight & it was delicious food, I will definitely be ordering again, fresh tasty & hot, the tandoori king prawns were so tasty as was the lamb jalfrezi & chicken makhani, highly recommend, delivered quickly & I am well impressed

Great food as always I couldn't eat the Bombay also tonight it was too strong I normally have the small tray and it's never been as strong as it was tonite next time I have one can u do it abit milder we have never had to complain food is always lovely and fresh and it's still hot when it's been delivered to hall green. The food is always excellent. The place to wait is bleak but it is clean. A takeaway really doesn't need 4 star waiting but it would benefit from a little TLC. But the food is the star and we have never been disappointed.

First time used and will definitely use again excellent. Very fresh, tasty curry, great service and price very reasonable. Would recommend

Ordered a balti chicken and another dish with some side dishes absolutely delicious, you can tell from the powerful aroma it's home cooked and not from a huge pataks jar.

Just had a takeaway and the food was hot, tasty and really good portions. I must say that the chilli garlic chicken balti is the best I have ever tasted. We will definitely be back.

Had a delicious chicken mushroom balti, meat spinach mushroom balti, lentil dahl and okra dahl. It was gorgeous! I wish they took card so I could go more often I've never got cash! Generous portions I've got lunch for tomorrow. Great service man was lovely to chat too! See you again I'm sure!

Stayed in an AirBnB and just needed some food quickly. Found this place and it exceeded our expectations. Good selection of food, really nice guy taking the order and the food was tasty and exactly what we wanted. Only thing to note is it’s cash only.

Long time family run business. Most of kitchen can be seen from front of shop and always looks clean. Food is hot when it arrives on a delivery 10mins away too. Plenty of free salad and sauces and the food is freshly cooked. Can highly recommend the veggie samosas. Very friendly staff in the shop and always happy to discuss recipes and tweak dishes to your taste (as long as you don't re-write the menu lol).

EXCEPTIONAL food. I'm a huge vindaloo and phaal fan and these guys do the lot to the correct recipe. I've had one let down in 3 years of using them (undercooked onion bhaji's) but this was down to the regular chef being away, so business as usual otherwise. NOT a restaurant just a takeaway, but you will struggle to find this quality at these prices like-for-like. Very polite and friendly and more than worth a try if you want good British standard Balti cuisine. 100% recommended.

i have been a customer since 1989 and i keep going back there as you know what ur going to get is great every time[the chips have changed over the years] ,nice friendly staff,and allways open on bank hols EVEN XMASS dinner ,love the place and will continue to shop there,thanks 4 some great currys...ta

Used for years. Lots of help when trying to order new dishes. The delivery driver we always call Santa because of his lovely white beard that he has had for years. The food is lovely by the way. Better than the other local ones that leave hairs in your food
