Birthday with the family, booked the private dining area, 14 members of the family looked after superbly by Josh and the rest of the Sunday team. The birthday girl celebrated her milestone in style

Really good food, everyone in there is lovely and if you're looking for a great, value-for-money service with top notch food, I couldn't recommend more. People in there super friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. My new go-to.

This is a pleasant place but the food is overpriced and inconsistent. Home cooked cottage pie was sparse in meat and the gravy was like water. The steak and onion pie was bland and the pastry like concrete. Breakfast items are a better offer so I will stick to those in future. It was an expensive lesson. Better food and value elsewhere. Staff are lovely and the on-site shop is a treat but cafe food does not reflect the home grown angle they are promoting.

7 of us dined here for my daughter's birthday on Tuesday evening at 6pm. The food was lovely and there were no complaints. However the service was very poor. We asked to see the gluten free menu as my daughter sometimes tries to limit her gluten intake, but we informed the staff that we didn't have any actual allergies or intolerances. My daughter eventually decided to order from the main menu rather than the GF menu. She was then told quite abruptly that since she had asked to see the GF menu, she had to order from it. We repeatedly told staff that she only wanted to see the menu and was not actually gluten free. Eventually they accepted this and let her order what she liked, but the whole group agreed that the attitude and intensity of the member of staff we dealt with was not appropriate. The service was also very slow, we were there for an hour before food orders were taken and the food itself took a long time to come out. Overall the whole meal took us 3 hours for 3 courses. Food was beautiful but would only come again if the service improves.

I recently visited here and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentively. My meal was perfectly cooked, and the dessert was a real treat. Overall, a great pub with delicious food, good prices and amazing service. Highly recommend!
