Caffè Nero in Birmingham

Who says that the staff is friendly and great? Who ever says that never met a friendly staf. They are rood unprofessional and dirty. The shop its been ages to be clean the staff are horrible but the coffe is very good. So never again to this nero

I went there this morning to buy food drinks and cookies just to get ready for a long journey. After around one hour when my son told me he wants to eat , I realised I had just 3 cookies in separate bags with the drinks. I'm am very disappointed, honestly she doesn't have any excuse I was there before 9am it wasn't busy. I am very upset about..

Always good coffee friendly staff and good selection of tempting cakes. Just wish it was a larger interior. Have to say however it becomes increasing frustrating that many now come with laptops and take up a whole table preventing others from being able to sit down with friends and chat. It seems thoughtless and selfish to sit for an hour or more. Why can't they do the work at home instead of using the cafe as their office?!

It's nice to sit outside foods ok coffees good. Just the staff are super rude and don't want to do anything.

A nice friendly place with great coffee

I love cafe Nero and fast becoming my choice of coffee place. Only down side to mere green branch is lack of urgency in service. I’ve often visited this branch and many others, I’m forever waiting to get served whilst staff finish their conversation before serving me. I don’t think I’m alone in my opinion

Every Caffe Nero I visited so far has nice people working in, and coffee is just great 😉 Everything with pistachio, including mousse cake superb👍

Queued for ages to be told no iced drinks (in a heatwave) these things happen but maybe put a sign on the door?

Caffe Nero is usually great but the Mere Green branch is a nightmare. It's an awkward shape at any time but when it is busy the congestion is terrible. Today the service was very, very slow. The queue was long and it took me over 10 minutes to get to the front. On top of this the tables weren't being cleared quickly enough and I had to make a clear space myself. I think this branch needs looking at with possibly new management.

Been here a few times, its one of our faves, and when visiting today, (4 June 23) I found the two girls to be very helpful and friendly which made the visit more enjoyable.

Friendly Staff and a good choice of cakes available, even when I visited later on the day. Always popular so it can be difficult getting a seat at times. Those with the Meerkat App (from Compare the Market) get 25% off.

Friendly staff a nice little coffee shop

We love coming to our local Nero every weekend. Its just so nice to sit in. It has a sort of rustic yet modern look with the woodern decor. Just like putting my worldly issues to one side for an hour and a half and just relax Staff and service is always great and friendly The coffee here is good. Love the vegan croissants

Unfortunately poor experience today. 2pm counter empty of most cakes and bakes. Brownies behind next to the register. Just checked with the staff if any in storage, and have to agree with previous comments of the poor attitude. Customer service used to mean something. I won't be coming back.

Coffee is always lovely however the staff are probably the rudest staff I’ve come across! Such a shame as it lets Cafe Nero down as most people in the area think the same and choose to go to Costa instead. Customer service is non existent and when staff speak to you it’s with terrible attitude.

My most favourite cafe!! Best coffee and best mocha and pastry and cakes!!! The staff is always welcoming and friendly too

Love Nero coffee but experience today was spoilt by a very dirty interior. The floor is ingrained with dirt and from my seat I can see under the fridge which obviously hasn't been cleaned for a very long time. I know it's a busy place but no excuse. Please do better. So it's 3 weeks later and no improvement. Under fridge is still filthy as is the floor. Obviously don't read reviews.

Great place for coffees and frapes, the food is very good and the seating outside is very good too, plenty of space for you to take your dogs, parasols for shade in the recent hot sun, great area always quiet and parking very close too

would give 0 stars if i could, ordered via uber eats will not be using again. Ordered 4 cookies which came to a price of £8.80 which 3 of them was frozen, ordered a cinnamon swirl and got a cold hard crossiant (which the person I rang to speak to tells me she added a not to bag) which she didn't as seen below. regards to the tuna melt panini, hardly any filling so u feel like u just eating the bread. order of over £21 for delivery home and not even nice enough to eat. will definitely be avoiding this shop, as I normally go to the sutton centre and they are good . p.s white shine on cookie where it is still frozen. came as a pack of 3 still frozen. when speaking to the so called manager was told to leave them out for a but and they will defrost. like are you kidding me? what a joke.

Its a coffe shop. And it does exactly what you would expect these franchise coffee shops to do (ie Starbucks, costa etc.) Gave me all I needed - but nothing special

Always liked Neros, shame there are none in Tamworth or Burton on trent.

Great cafe. I don't come here very often but when I do I always have a nice time. They are very good with local restrictions for covid-19. The coffees here are very nice and they are not too expensive for what you getting. They staff there are very nice and I can't complain at all about the service. They shop is very inviting and make you fell like you want to go inside. They outside seating at the moment is currently unavailable but when it is its nice, there is also an inside option. overall great cafe.

Good Covid awareness and excellent coffee. The only thing was no cleaning of seats and tables between customers took place.

Their post covid selection is quite sparse. Which is baffling. Other than that the coffee is good.

Unfortunately not using crock cups yet. Using disposible cups which do not appear to be recyclable. I will be happier when we can return to reusable cups.

Got served by a very nice young lady! Wish I got her name but I never, but she had purple hair. I went into cafe Nero and as soon as she served me she had a great smile and was very cheery. (I work in sainsburys opposite, so I know this is key!) Her customer service was outstanding. I wanted a caramelatte but hazelnut flavour and she made it spot on! Honestly one of the best hot drinks I’ve had in a while! So many thanks to her :)

Only visited this cafe because my local had a burst pipe and was closed, l find the coffee is too strong not good for AF condition lm aware of alternatives but l like decaffeinated ☕

Nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Although Nero cafes do seem a bit dark and either dimly lit or have areas with little natural light.

Popped in here for a coffee this week. Only 2 staff on. place was in disarray. loads of dirty cups and trays lying around on tables, and no one clearing up. I noticed cobwebs hanging of the hanging lights! I went to the toilet at the back of the shop and it was filthy. stains everywhere. NO toilet paper so couldn't have been check for. long time. dirty floor and sink, just looked a mess. no one cares here it's obvious, yet people still use it. I won't be again.

Mere Green Caffe Nero. Small but cozy, unfortunately visits of late feature very selfish business types actually pulling two small tables together with their laptops and files spread across as if it their office workplace. Disgustingly antisocial as there is only a limited number.

Always friendly and good service. Coffee is exceptionally good and surroundings comfortable and relaxing. I enjoy popping in for a coffee when I am in the area and sometimes make a special journey just to relax with a nice coffee!

Love the lay out of this place with its cosy little booths. Good selection of teas and coffees and there are tiny little squares of cake for the health conscious and a great selection for people that like a decent slice of dessert. Popular venue but you can always get a seat and very friendly service too. I visit the Mere Green branch mainly.

Excellent coffee, friendly staff, cosy yet spacious. Plenty of tables and umbrellas to sit outside when the weather is nice. Surrounded by competitors - Costa, M&S cafe, Prezzo, Wetherspoons - but beats them all.

Really enjoyed it but there was no gluten free cakes. Only bars wrapped up. Shame would have loved some gluten free carrot cake

Lovely staff with comfortable seats which aren't too packed in like some coffee shops. They checked allergens for us when asked, which was great. They also brought over and cleaned a high chair for my son. So many places the highchairs are filthy and I have to spend 10 minutes cleaning them. I was very impressed with the lady and told her so.

Lovely cosy cafe with lovely deco. Also have area to sit outside. I’m not a big fan of Caffè Nero. Ordered the ice coffee, they taste so so. Would prefer other brands coffee.
