Usually, the food here is great. I decided to order a mix grill for 1 for my lunch at 12:30 pm. It's £10, so it's not particularly cheap. As it was lunchtime, it was quiet, so they're not having a fast turnover of food. As I waited, I was wondering why I couldn't hear the meat cooking on the grill. I could hear what seemed to be the sound of a microwave. When I received my food (I ordered to takeaway), it was bland and chewy. It had obviously been defrosted/reheated in the microwave. The lamb and chicken pieces were so tough and dry, the wings were just about passable. I was so tempted to return it and ask for a refund. I should have gone with my gut feeling and gone to Peri Fino instead. So my advice is to avoid ordering during quiet lunchtime periods, as it seems they only give you left over reheated meat.
A fantastic dinner at La Coppola in Leamington to celebrate a special occasion. Beautiful decor, great atmosphere and a quality of service and attentiveness that matched the fantastic food and drink we enjoyed. You get what you pay for and we felt like what we paid was absolutely worth it. Highly recommend.
Fabulous place. Beautiful setting indoors and outdoors.
We were here for a wedding and it was perfect. Food was great and the staff were lovely.
Extremely well organised too and reasonably priced drinks
Been here about 6 times.
The manager is excellent, the staff are amazing, the food is very good and they have football screens (no sound) and great craft beers.
All in all well worth a visit, keep up the good work.
See you again soon ;-)
I had the Pie of the Day. The portions are pretty big. Everything was fresh and hot. The service was good, the location is super central. The other people there were nice and the atmosphere cosy and warm
Nice Atmosphere.Great Food . Lovely Staff . Only fault I can find is the Seniors Board . Although the prices are cheaper than the regular menu the portions are half the size. I was always meant to believe that pensioners were offered reduced prices to reflect our status . Not all pensioners have small appetites . My order of Fish and Chips was about the size I would feed my seven year old granddaughter. Come on Plough you can do better than this .Some people would find this insulting and Patronising.
A Fiery Delight from Takaa Tak!
Takaa Tak in Oldbury has truly mastered the art of curry! The dish we had was an absolute triumph – a lovely blend of authentic spices that burst with flavor. Each bite delivered a delightful chilli kick, which, remarkably, subsided beautifully once the meal was finished, leaving behind only the memory of fantastic taste. Even my son, a first-timer with a hot curry, polished off his plate, a testament to how utterly delicious it was. Our compliments to the chef – you've won us over!
