What a superb dining experience. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful. The staff were amazing and very attentive. The food was to die for . Would highly recommend. Everything was perfect , will definitely visit again.

Yesterday me and my girlfriend had an amazing birthday's dinner. We tasted excellent italian food. The staff service and the quality of food deserve a full 5 stars rating. We highly recommend it and we're gonna come back again very soon

We've been a couple of times, as it has good reviews, but we won't be returning. Pros - the 'duck tagliatelle' was tasty, portions are generous and the look of the place covered in fairy lights and resembling an orchard in spring is pleasing although a bit intense. Cons - service was extremely rushed and we were asked to leave our table to the next customers after 2h and 2 minutes of arriving (we sat down less than that as we waited a bit for our table). Like us, there was two other tables celebrating birthdays and the waiters were loudly singing and clapping away, as if they were in TGI Fridays. At some stage one of the singing waiters said - who's next?. Of course, we never said it was my husband's birthday that night! The menu doesn't change - could be a good thing, but food is generally bland and certainly not seasonal. It feels like an upmarket fast food chain. Food a bit overpriced - around £70 per person

I took my wife here for her birthday and must say what a lovely place,great ambience very attentive but not pushy or intrusive staff and to her embarrassment and 3 or 4 other people that night the staff all sang her happy birthday 😂 Food was really tasty wine was great and when the bill arrived I had to double check they had it correct as despite the service charge being added on I was expecting it to be more expensive. Will definately return here in the future,absolute gem of a place.

What a change to be able to write a great review firstly anyone going should know the potions are enormous so think carefully. From the elegant front entrance to the charming reception, you enter a surreal ,mirrored, pink flowers hanging from the ceiling ,beautiful restaurant , spotless table clothes , comfortable chairs experienced and efficient respectful staff. Nothing too much bother , " a different knife" another spoon ? more water? always a smile . delicious bread, as mentioned big portions. We had requested a quite area and that was available . soft music but not disturbing . Sunday lunch and the place was fully booked What a change from the pretentious overpriced under trained stall you often experience in other establishments La Coppola , dont change anything thank you

Excellent Restuarant - food was superb and the service was terrific. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for so no complaints at all. Went at lunchtime and it was busy. Glad we’d booked. Staff were attentive and not intrusive. Would definitely go there again

Stopped here for a spontaneous lunch with my husband, we were on route to a few days away so called in on a Monday Lunchtime. Cannot recommend enough the staff were polite and attentive, but not over bearing considering it was quiet. The food was absolutely delicious and the general atmosphere of the restaurant was calming and relaxing. We came away feeling full and content.

We've been here lots of times. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are attentive. But the menu never changes and they are no specials. It's also not great for vegetarians. The spring vegetable risotto is decidedly odd

We came with some friends for dinner and we were looking for something special. We were not disappointed as the food was fantastic. It’s a proper Italian menu. The waiter was very helpful, knowledgeable and we had great time.

I was here on Sat 13th Jan for a 60th birthday celebration dinner for my sister. Party of 12 people. We were sat at a table in a corner of the restaurant that was beautifully laid out, beautifully lit and just perfect for our group. The restaurant was completely full. I have to say that the meal, the way it was presented, the delicious taste of each and every course was without reproach - totally amazing food cooked to perfection. The service from the staff was impecable. They could not have done anymore to make this celebration an absolute delight. Thanks you La Coppola

Beautiful venue, fabulous food and great choice of wines and veggie options. The total let down are the staff, most generally rude, rushed and impolite. A real shame as it was a lovely restaurant.

Wow just amazing! It is really is difficult to do the justice in a few words that this restaurant deserves. My steak was perfect , the side dishes of sauteed potatoe & greens in chilli & citrus dressing were just devine . The Lemon tart & sorbet flavours just exploded in my mouth & it was simply delicious. The staff are so very very attentive & this is a must visit restaurant.

My friend and i revisited this restaurant. This time fordinner, having previously vsited at lunch time. It is a good job we had made a reservation as otherwise it would have been difficult to be fitted as it was busy. However at no point did we feel rushed.,which can be the case at busy venues. The meal was excellent, with significantly large starters. My friends Zucchini based strater was particularly large, whilst my bruschetta was smaller, but excellently prepared ad still quite filling. The mains were excellent, especially the Fish Stew served in freshly baked bread, and were accompanied by a refreshing Tuscan white wine. The deserts were again delicious and in the case of the Flaming Sambuca covered choclate confection i ordered quite dramatically presented.Unlike some reviewers i found the service prompt, efficient, and friendly, and the decor and atmosphere are very pleasant.. This was my second visit and i will be returning. The only drawback here is you will need to make sure you do not eat anything for sometime before you have dinner as the portions are large.

They serve the best Italian food! The ambience of the place is amazing. Lovely staff, very attentive. Definitely a 10/10 and will be visiting them soon.

We went for dinner at 5.15 on a Saturday night. We were greeted with confirmation of our booking and told we would have to be finished by 7.15. This wasn't a problem but it wasn't the warmest welcome. The restaurant was noisy and quite full for that time. After about 15 minutes a waiter took our order. Our starters arrived and after asking about our wine that arrived too. Or mains came shortly after our starters were cleared. The food and wine were very nice, especially the slow cooked lamb. We didn't have dessert or coffee. The prices are on the high side but OK. The main issue was with the service. It was efficient but impersonal. We didn't see a smile. As we were in the process of leaving the table was being cleared and reset. The lasting impression was that cash flow is the main priority. We won't be going back.

Beautiful setting, the food was very good with plenty of choices for all palates but the service wasn't up to it's usual excellent standard.

This restaurant lived up to its reputation. Service was attentive and the atmosphere slightly magical, adorned with internal flowers and fairy lights. Not in the least bit kitsch. It puts me in mind of 2 excellent restaurants I have visited: Clos Maggiore in London and the restaurant at La Sirenuse in Positano.The food is traditional Italian and authentic when it arrives. My partner started with Fried chicken livers in a Madeira Sauce. Delicious. I had Buffala Mozzarella wrapped in Parma Ham. Also delicious. Mains were a traditional tagliatelle for me and a fillet of beef in a creamy sauce for my Partner who didn’t enjoy the fillet as much as I enjoyed the tagliatelle.Overall though a lovely experience and an encouragement to return to this beautiful part of the world. Grazie.

Was a visit following a small wedding ceremony on Saturday 21st. Service was impeccable, food was stunning. Can’t fault it to be honest. We just had starters and two of the fried fish platters and Muscles, calamari, scallops and prawn cocktail. All arrived on time and perfectly cooked. Can’t recommend enough. Well worth a visit. Was super busy but no delay in service. Covid safe and very clean.

What an amazing restaurant and amazing experience. The restaurant is beautiful and you immediately feel like it’s going to be a special experience. Having eaten in many Michelin restaurants across the country and many restaurants in London I would rate this experience as one of the best. Authentic, theatrical and beautiful. We went with another couple who had already been (in fact our trip to leamington spa was built around it). The starters were lovely with a special mention to the oysters which were a theatre on their own. The mains were all fabulous. We had the fish and shellfish stew (amazing! Save room for this) lobster, lobster pasta flambé and the sea bass. All were exquisite.We can’t wait to return!

Have been loads of time to La Coppola, lovely food and wine. Unfortunately it was spoilt for me this time because of the load music in the back part of the restaurant.

Fantastic food. Really lovely restaurant. Serving staff were excellent.My only criticism is the lady hostess who greeted us saw we had a baby fast asleep laying in the pushchair and told us we could not take the pushchair to the table we would be seated at.Which meant the baby had to be taken out of the pushchair and woke up straight away.The restaurant was more than half empty so I do think the pushchair by the table could have been accommodated.

Came here as a celebratory meal with my friends and had the most amazing time. The restaurant is so lovely inside and the service was incredible. The waiters were very attentive and the food was delicious. I will definitely be visiting again and could not recommend this restaurant enough.

Me and my boyfriend went for dinner on Wednesday evening. We had a wonderful experience, with excellent food and brilliant service ,starting from the very warm welcoming by the receptionist, we were greeted at the door and taken to a beautiful table. The waiters were very professional and provided a luxury service. The food was incredible and there was many options available. Will definitely be returning.

We were staying locally and decided to dine out. I booked this restaurant weeks in advance and glad I did as it was fully booked.The decor is gorgeous and great for date night.Food was good as was service.One negative the hostess on the way in barked orders at us, not a great way to welcome guests.

Have wanted to try this restaurant for a long time ….unfortunately it was average and won’t be going again…… garlic bread over cooked …. Tiny portions and main course very bland.

There is a very extensive menu and wine list, some of the latter expensive. I had an excellent bruschetta as a starter, followed by a superb salmon ravioli and a first class tiramisu. My companion started with some excellent zucchini followed by well-cooked veal and a lemon tart. The Frascati was excellent value. Service was very efficient. It was very busy and hence unavoidably noisy.

Like this place ! It felt like a throw back to the 90s somehow ! Very attentive staff and extensive menu . The tagliatelle was delicious ! We will visit again when in the area .

From the warm and very informative welcome by the enchanting young Sophie, we knew we would not be disappointed by our visit to La Coppola. The surroundings are fairytale like and the buzz of happy background chat only adds to the anticipation of the food. We opted for the Chicken Livers, Carpaccio of Beef and Lobster flambe. We also had two delicious cocktails. Service and attention to our preferences were excellent. Well worth the journey from Liverpool or indeed from anywhere.

Used to come here a lot over the years but has really lost its way of late. Waiters were very rude and domineering, got the order wrong, and tried to blame us. Food was expensive but distinctly average. Some of our favorite things have now been taken off the menu with no apology or explanation. Just "we don't do that anymore" while looking at us blankly. There is also a real sense of being faux Italian, with the waiters not actually speaking a word of the language. They were also playing Flamengo (Spanish) music very loudly which was completely out of place in an Italian restaurant. Used to be one of the best restaurants in Leamington, sadly not anymore. Some people are clearly not as discerning as we are.

The decor is delightful, the service was very good. We got a seafood platter and then two pasta dishes. Definitely planning to go back. The only disappointment was that they'd run out of oysters, bit disappointing for an oyster bar...

Wow, we knew it was going to be good yet the whole experience was truly exceptional. Wonderful service from start to finish in a high class restaurant. The food was incredible and well worth the prices. Would highly recommend.

Rude waiters , food was bland , I ordered pasta with prawns and clams they had no clams , I decided 2 mins after ordering I would rather have something else and was told I couldn’t as it was already cooking !! Won’t be going back I can cook better at home !!! Half an hour and £50 later very disappointed

We chose La Coppola for our first ‘post lockdown meal’ as it is one of the only places serving oysters locally. The decor seemed to be more beautiful than it was last time we visited, very romantic. Our table was delayed slightly but I can only assume it is because people don’t want to leave their tables - and I’m not surprised! Our waiter was very professional and attentive, The table was pristine and we enjoyed the complimentary olives while looking over the menu. The oysters were beautiful and I enjoyed the table theatrics , the tiger prawns in butter, wine and chilli were sublime (plenty of sauce for my ciabatta) and the clam & prawn spaghetti was fully enjoyed by my husband. We finished off the meal by sharing a chocolate fondant and a very tasty espresso martini (mint tea for the driver). Thank you so much La Coppola, it was worth the wait. I hope locally people continue to support this restaurant because it is a gem!

Open for fine dining once more, having been closed due to COVID restrictions since last October. All the same staff back providing great food, great service and a wonderful experience of Italian gastronomy. So pleased they have weathered the storm!

First ever visit. Steak was overcooked and despite it being fillet was probably one of the worst we’ve ever had! Lasagne & bruschetta were lovely. Gelato was icy. Staff were not very friendly and was difficult getting their attention. Didn’t complain as my husband and daughter don’t like confrontation. Overall an expensive disappointment and won’t be returning.

This place is absolutely beautiful and the food is heaven. I had oysters and then the fish stew (their speciality, I can see why it was delicious!) then an Affocato to finish, yum! All the staff were brilliant, thank you for a lovely evening.

The decor is beautiful and great for pictures. The food was lovely but the waiter was quite rude and when I ordered another bottle of wine his response was “don’t you mean a glass? You only have an hour left of your slot” which I found to be very judgmental and out of line. I understand it is a busy restaurant but we just felt super rushed to leave. Shame

Worth the wait of booking in advance, this beautifully appointed restaurant has a real Italian atmosphere. Creating a great family occasion whilst maintaining social distancing cannot be easy but this restaurant does it well. I loved the calamari.

Had a lovely experience tonight at La Coppola the ambiance in the restraunt was true italian style from the decor to the amazing waiters. The food was amazing there was a group of 6 family members and we had different meals and we all said how fantastic the food tasted. Yes it's a bit pricey but for a special occasion in is definitely worth it.Can't wait to visit again when it reopens after lockdown.

I booked a table for 3 people over the telephone for 7.30pm on a Wednesday evening in October. This was to celebrate our friends 80th birthday. I received a confirmation email. On arrival at the restaurant the young lady at the desk searched the computer and was adamant I had only booked for 2 people. I offered to show her the email I had received. She was not interested and eventually said she had managed to find us a table. Not a good start. The restaurant was very busy. I ordered the lamb cutlets. After one mouthful, my tongue was on fire. I had not realised that red harissa was hot chili(no mention of this on the menu) I mentioned this to the waiter. He was not interested. There were so many of slices of chilli with seeds in the sauce. My tongue was still really sore the next day. We also felt very rushed, as though they wanted us to eat up and get out. The decor is very magical and should be a lovely experience. It was not!

Lovely restaurant lovely food and wonderful ambiance. Covid secure hand sanitiser on entry and in rest rooms however none on tables which I found strange as most places now provide it on tables. It was a lovely evening but when I mentioned it was my birthday instead of saying happy birthday I was just told by the waiter that it was his birthday yesterday - not that I particularly expected anything but I would have thought they would have made some reference to it being a birthday - Micatto in Warwick last year bought out a small piece of cake with a candle on / small gesture but really made the evening

First time at this restaurant, very impressed with the traditional, clean set up of the place on arrival. Lovely atmosphere - place was full on a Tuesday evening - but not loud allowing for good conversation. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent - very nice starters, then both of us had steak dishes which were cooked perfectly to different requests. Great selection of wines. Dessert of Tiramisu (really not needed!!) was light and full of flavour. Ice cream disappointing for an Italian in that it lacked flavour. Only negative - why serve olives in a cracked and rather grubby plastic glass..? Put me off watching them!! Overall a lovely place and would definitely return.

Used to love this place but tonight wasn't great. No steak or lamb in a restaurant like this is like a pub with no beer! I know we live in strange times but we couldn't sit at our table because guests were still there but we was rushed out straight after our meal

We decided to go out to dinner last night on the spur of the moment/last minute in case we get screwed down again soon n the hospitality industry is destroyed further. Have wanted to come here since seeing it in whatever the sunday supplement is Giles Coren writes for. So pleased they could fit us in. The interior does not disappoint, it is really very pretty, faux classical stone walls with moldings, cherry blossom covered ceiling with fairy lights. It's a little bit kitsch but incredibly romantic at the same time. It's worth coming for the surroundings alone. I don't know how they keep it so very clean, all the little flowers n leaves! The house red was so good I wish I'd asked what it was. We ordered brusheta starter, just one, was big enough to share. They bring you giant olives as well. Husband had salmon pasta parcels (can't recall italian names sorry) n I had the lamb ones, both really v good. My son (only six, he actually behaved! Think the decor n whole experience was so interesting he didn't have time to get bored :) had spag bol, which is what he has everywhere.. this one you could really taste the herbs. Husband n son had ice cream n I had a panacotta. Ice cream fine, panacotta a bit disappointing, raspberry sauce ok but pudding itself insipid, neither sweet nor creamy nor vanillery enough. Because I left half of it the waiter asked what was up n husband told him n they offered me another pudding, which was very good service but we decided to just have coffee instead (dinner was v filling). Personally I wish the staff would wear head shields rather than masks as masks are so sinister but maybe they think diners feel safer with masks? I know most people are v paranoid but I'm bored to tears with covids now, it's endemic on earth n all the theatre surrounding it now is pointless. The background music is nice. We arrived about 6pm n it was quiet, but it had filled up by the time we left (8pm) n was getting noisier. If you want a quiet dinner book earlier. Downstairs ladies loo needs seat fixing n the light fixing/made brighter in the left hand stall. Really like the Caravaggio copies on the walls downstairs. The lighting in the restaurant is perfect, v soft. All in all lovely.

Fab restaurant - lovely environment We were given our 2 hour slot. The place was crazy busy but it took them 30 mins to even get to us to take our order which was frustrating. Gorgeous food. Staff were good but clearly v busy.

Booked the table with the understanding of a 2 hour time limit. Had to wait 20 minutes in the rain for the table as previous diners would not vacate the table, meaning we started dining late. Unfortunately, we were told to leave immediately after finishing main courses due to the time constraints. We understand the situation regarding Covid-19, however this is no excuse for blaisé and rude service. Staff took no responsibility for the situation and were happy to rush us out the door.

We visited for a friend’s birthday. The service, as always, was excellent, however, the distance between tables was no different to before lockdown and it felt like no thought had gone into distancing. The menu was pared back but so were the portions. Almost £16 for a small chicken supreme in sauce with sides extra, and more expensive than before. We won’t be going back anytime soon.

After hearing good things and saving up money (as students) for our anniversary we were very excited to dine at La Coppola. The starter of pomodoro bruschetta was a pizza base, tomato purée and sprinkled cheese, the calamari was rubber. The only good thing was the melon that came with the prosciutto.The carbonara for main was fatty and tasteless, there is nothing more to say.We were truly unimpressed after waiting so long and feeling as though we would have a lovely anniversary treat. High prices for below average food. Very disappointing and upset to have paid so much for so little.

Title says it all really, went here with my partner for our anniversary, service was first class, food excellent, really reasonable prices, we had starters main and dessert with a bottle of wine for £72+tip, will definitely return.

Always have our Xmas meal here and always great service and food gets demolished by all and sundry. Great place.

My sister and I, quite vulnerable as we are in our 70s but otherwise healthy, visited La Coppola on Monday 7th September 2020. I had been there in the past and loved the atmosphere and the food. The staff were very attentive and found us a table even though we were early. So it was all looking good. Then a couple of men sat at a table next to us. They were less than a metre away and were extremely loud and completely oblivious of anyone near them. This was bad luck for us but I felt that the diners were too close. We were amazed when the waiters rallied every one to sing Happy Birthday to a group. This is NOT what the government recommends when dining out!! So if you want to go to this restaurant safely I would recommend going early when it opens but if it was like this on a Monday night I dread to think what a weekend would be like. A pity as in normal times it is a real treat!

Well, other than excelled i cannot really say any more. We have ran a pub for 8 years and been married for 7 of them with every year having a cider festival on our anniversary.. this year yes sadly its not the same but as i say .. "" every negative you will find a positive "" and tonight proved that. Sadly our cider festival can not be and mondays we are shut due to lack of customers but positive we have had our first anniversary out with 5 star plus food ..drinks and service totally wonderful place to eat, will be coming back first chance we get. Would highly recommend not just for a special occasion. For value and money, top quality food and service xx. Thankyou for making tonight so special xxx

We visited on the first day of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. The interior was stunning, the food was delicious. Some dishes we personally consider little overpriced such as the prawns as it did not come with anything but 5 prawns for over £20. However it was all good tasting food. The service from the waiter was okay but nothing outstanding. We had received an email on the day letting us know their card machine wasn’t working so bring cash thus we did so beforehand. When we got the bill I enquired about the scheme and the waiter didn’t quite explain it correctly and I was told it was due to the card machine that it’s not applicable Which did not make sense and was unacceptable. We ended up paying the full bill but I went to speak to the manager / hostess after and was told they couldn’t start the scheme until the second week. This was unacceptable as she had the decency to email letting me know the card machine wasn’t working and reminded me once again after I sat down but couldn’t be bothered to let us know the scheme couldn’t be applied especially after calling up and double checking the day before. It is appalling how they are using it for granted. Until now which is almost the end of the scheme, it doesn’t look like they are on it according to their website so maybe they never even applied. Truth be told for anyone to eat at this restaurant, £20 isn’t going to break the bank but out of principle the staff did not handle it well at all. I don’t think I will be returning to this restaurant which is a shame.

I visited on saturday. and we were not let down. The decor is absolutely stunning, and is met with exceptional and attentive service, plus the amazing food! Worth every penny and will absolutely be returning.

Reopened, having been closed for the past 5 months due to COVID-19. Reduced menu while new suppliers are sorted, but still good choices. Same attentive staff; tables well spaced for customers’ peace of mind. Good to have this restaurant back on the map. Essential to book in advance.

Excellent food at a reasonable price! A wonderfully decorated restaurant with great service and great food. The house wine was a good choice. The pasta with lobster was excellent.

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants and when I saw on their website that they were reopening and participating in Eat Out To Help Out I was really looking forward to my visit. How disappointed I was. My ravioli was undercooked and cold. I didn’t complain as I thought I was getting a good discount. Got the bill, no discount. When I asked them they said “oh yeah we didn’t submit our paperwork so we can’t start till next week. No apology, no gesture, nothing. To add insult to injury, they had managed to phone me and tell me that their card machine wasn’t working and to remind me that I needed cash on my way in, no mention that I would need £20 more than I expected. I appreciate that these are difficult times but this is no way to treat previously loyal customers. I will give my money to businesses that are not looking to take advantage. Disgraceful.

Haven’t eaten in here for about 10 months couldn’t wait for it to re open so booked a table for 4, We love the place but the food has gone dreadful may as well eaten in Lloyd’s and saved a fortune, maybe the chef was still off work, we will try again but I can see them struggling if it carries on

Last minute reservation on a Saturday night, and boy did it not dissapoint. Service from start to finish was outstanding let alone the food! 10 out of 10 all round... Scallops tasted amazing, Fillet steak to die for, topped off by a melt in the middle pudding. Worth very single penny! Cannot wait to dine again - fab setting, fab staff and even better food!

Amazing food, huge menu with lots to choose from, great decoration. Been here twice already for special occasions and will definitely be coming back.

My family had booked the restaurant as a surprise to celebrate my birthday. We were a party of 8 adults. This was early Saturday evening. The table was booked for 5.30pm but was not ready upon our arrival. We sat at the table approximately 15 mins later. The food served was very good. In the main if you like fish there are plenty dishes to choose from. Not a great choice of meat pasta dishes (besides the usual bolognese or lasagna). I chose the Anatra Affumicata pasta dish. All the food was beautifully presented. After several mouthfuls I found the dish too rich and creamy and left it. The food for each course came out together but seemed to me in a rush. Overall the food was satisfactory but I have eaten better Italian food in other establishments. The service was very good but too quick. It made you feel under pressure to eat quickly which I do not enjoy. It was compounded by the fact the bill was on the table before we had asked ! It felt like a cattle market rather than a restaurant to take your time, enjoy your food and drink at your leisure. And all this at a cost which was in my opinion expensive. Unfortunately I will not be revisiting.

First when you walk in the ambiance of the place immediately makes you feel as if you’re in for a great experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they don’t rush you, they don’t hover but are very attentive to the diners needs.We started with anti pasti which was for 2 to share, there was loads on the plate which was a great way to start the evening. Had a lovely bottle of first a chillian Red then a lovey red from Sicily, both at exactly the right temperature to really savour and enjoy. Mains we, four people, all had different meals and we were all more than happy with what we had, mine was chicken and Italian sausage in a wonderful sauce, with sides of potatoes and seasonal veg, plenty to eat, presented lovely and tasted fantastic. After, if you have room, there is a nice sweet menu, not to extensive but just what you would like to see, mine was apple tart, lovely. It came to £50 per head which included the wine so we were very happy to have had a superb dining experience that wasn’t overpriced. We will go again.

My husband booked this restaurant for our 40th Wedding anniversary. The decor and food is very nice but the staff sadly ruined it for us.We were rushed in and out the door and reminded six times between booking entering and during the meal of the next reservation and the time we needed to leave by. The waiters took the plates from beneath us before we even had our last bite and told us there was not enough time for dessert but gave us the menu anyway!!!It left a bitter taste in my mouth that even the wine could not placate. It ruined a special day which we decided to celebrate there for the ambience.Would not recommend. Stay away unless you need help telling the time want assistance to ensure you leave promptly!!!!

Leamington is a town of fantastic restaurants - but La Coppola is easily the best. Always a go to for a special occasion. The food is exceptional, especially the veal and tartufo flambé

La coppola, revered by Giles Coran, reviewed by many and frequented by a lot, today we went to have lunch and frankly we were shocked ! Upon arrival no one even asks any more if you want to have your coat taken and you are just plonked on your table by a waiter that is not bothered and bad tempered ! We had a look at the menu and that’s where the first shock came ! We wanted a bottle of Veuve Cliquot and contrary to about 8 months ago this has now doubled in price from £ 85 to £147.00 per bottle which in my eyes frankly is taking a liberty ! Even for a place like La Coppola, (Bollinger came a firm second at £120.00) having asked the waiter if this was a typing mistake he casually said “well I don’t know, I don’t make the prices” we settled for a bottle of water, two cocktails and a bottle of Pinot Grigio as we thought £147.00 for non vintage was too steep. We then came to discover the dirty cutlery and to top it the bad filthy menus that were put in front of us, food wise it’s still ok however the waiting team really needs to change their surly attitude towards the customers and smile a bit because in the end we pay their wages and prevent being annoyed about big tables and mouthing off in Italian towards each other as some people in this world also speak Italian ! (Me) which I found extremely rude and offensive. La Coppola let me advice you, people can spend their money anywhere in the world and have a choice, and with this attitude you will loose a lot of customers ! Like I stated in the title ! “ hell has three gates, lust, anger and greed” of which the last one is the other you are going ! I can only say one thing ! Arrivederci La Coppola ! You’ve lost us and many with us as customers !

Last night was our first visit to this reatraunt, we have eaten at all of your establishments.could fault it. Service was lovely, very professional and slick. Beautifully decorated, very nice atmosphere too.6 oysters gorgeous.Aranchini, crab salad, mozzarella salad for starters. Clean plates.Scallop, asparagus risotto. Lobster linguine. Tuna steak and vittelo parmegano for main. Yum.Apple and cinnamon tart, petit fours, tirimus for dessert. Total full now.I lived in Italy for many years and I love real Italian food. That is exactly what we had last night.Thank you for a lovely evening. Will definitely be back.

Have always enjoyed meals at La Coppola for many years, but tonight was disappointing. The waiter kept forgetting our order and after informing them about onion allergy they told us the original meal had onions then proceeded to bring the replacement suggested meal covered in onions. Not good.

The decor in the restaurant is what attracted us to it but the food and service were exceptional also. It's a lovely restaurant for a special occasion and I'd definitely recommend the oysters.

Visited in January with my wife for her birthday and just loved it. Had the fritto misto for starter and vongole for main. Both delicious. All the staff were really attentive and the service was excellent. Wife had fish for main and really enjoys it too. Will be visiting again!

We were very well looked after. The menu is quite posh and very well presented. Definitely recommended but don’t be surprised at the final cost.

From the beginning to end the service was impeccable, the food spot on and the atmosphere Amasing! What an excellent experience we will definitely be returning very soon!

Took my mother here for her 60th birthday and had a wonderful time - a couple weeks later and she's still raving about the mussels and fish baked in salt (brought to the table on fire and carefully and theatrically removed from the bone in front of us) so I reckon this fantastic restaurant was worth a review! Service was exceptional, with the front of house making my mum feel just that bit extra special with a 'happy birthday' on arrival before showing us to our table and the wait staff were quick and courteous. Paired with such delicious food and beautiful atmosphere, my mum and I can't wait to return - we've already booked in for Mother's Day!

Eaten here numerous times. Food is exactly what it says on the TIN. Spot on, lovely freshly cooked, however the service, my god is absolutely shocking. The women on front of house, (Blonde-ish) (We ate evening of Wednesday 22nd Jan 2020) was the rudest the foulest women I have ever met. She should even be in the trade, didn't even bother showing people to their table. Stood there, stomped around. Just such a bad advert for such a nice place. The waiters I believe got confused and had limited communication with each other. Firstly one would pop over to take a food order, we would ask for a few more minutes 30 seconds later a different one asking the same question. Just all seems a bit Ned in the shed sort of business, the food itself is divine and a massive USP to that business, just a shame the waiters and the front of house let that down, Considering the prices you charge, I'd considering sending her to a customer service lecture.

Restaurante bem localizado e acolhedor com bom serviço e um menú variado e típico italiano. A comida não é nada de especial apesar de ser acima da média .....falta de ingredientes de boa qualidade e com manufatura mais cuidada.

I ordered a veal Milanese. Great taste and the the decoration is very nice. A very good moment between friends!

Went to La Coppola for our 40th wedding anniversary. Told them in advance (when I booked and when I confirmed) that it was a special occasion but no recognition when we arrived - a simple acknowledgement would have done but all we got on arrival was literally 'we need your table back by 8.30. It's a shame as the restaurant is delightful and the food excellent but we couldn't get away from the feeling that they wanted you to hurry along so that the next customer could be seated. We will not be going back to La Coppola as a friendly welcome and friendly service to us is just as important as the quality of food and the decor.

Read a review of La Coppola in the Times last year and I knew from reading it I had to visit this restaurant.

Spontaneous lunch celebration ruined by poor food and surly waiters.Had the Frito misto to start which quite obviously had come from frozen ingredients and then had been fried too hot for too long - really dry and tasteless. Risotto was nothing special. Waiters really couldn’t be bothered

Celebrated my sisters birthday here and it was brilliant. The first time we have been since it has moved to The Parade & WOW the interior is beautiful! A lot more spacious than Regent Street.

Total class! Beautiful surroundings, lovely food, friendly service. Very popular so booking ahead recommended.
