The best restaurants in West Midlands

Food was cold had to be sent back took ages to get drink plates were mixed up I got the wrong steak and asked for honey mustard on wedge got vinegeratte, so did my husband , sever dropped plates all over the floor by us,will not be going back again disappointed considering the bill for 6 of us was over £300 , got in touch with the manager. Response was I will make sure staff etc will be given info or words to that effect . Very disappointing Birthday treat for me,

Me and my mates went the atmosphere was really nice staff were friends I was disappointed with the Mac and cheese but really enjoyed the lamb dinner

An amazing place friendly staff, and amazing home made scones.

Pricey but we enjoyed our meal. Everything was of high quality. So many security cameras, that gave it a strange atmosphere... The deal wasn't applicable and the smaller size steaks aren't available either. Maybe they could update the menus...

Really lovely evening, the staff were all lovely, very friendly and helpful. The food was beautiful and the surroundings perfect, clean and tidy with a lovely ambience. We will definitely be back.

We booked a table for 5 at The Art Kitchen for an evening meal in May. In the booking notes online we asked if we could sit upstairs. Upon arriving we were given the choice of a table downstairs in the centre of the bustling restaurant or we could go to sit upstairs where we would be the only ones up there. We chose to sit upstairs and it felt like we had our own private dining experience!!! We thought being tucked away upstairs we might get forgotten about, but it was quite the opposite. The service was outstand. - friendly, chatty and super attentive - consistently coming back to check on us, if we needed more drinks and if everything was okay with our food. The restaurant was spotless and our food, which was freshly made to order arrived fantastically quickly. We ordered a selection of mixed starters to share - chicken satay, prawn toast, ribs, and vegetable spring rolls. Not only did they look amazing but the portion sizes were remarkable....not the tiny stuff you get at a take away or in a supermarket! It was quality and quantity. I had the chicken pad Thai - my favourite - which was amazing. There was plenty of chicken and it wasn't too salty either which can sometimes be the case. The same was the case with the Prawn pad Thai which has huge prawns throughout! The rest of the party had the Thai curry - again there was plenty of chicken, gorgeous pieces of aubergine and it wasn't too spicey for them either. The food was beautifully presented and we ALL agreed it was the best Thai food we have ever had....two of whom have actually been to Thailand! Thai food is my favourite, and I have been wanting to try Thai Kitchen for a long time after hearing so many good things about it, and I can honestly say it didn't disappoint! The food was okay as a vegan not much options. Loved the rustic country charm. Staff were lovely and helpful in every way possible to accommodate us.

Never have my family been so insulted by customers sat by us it totally spoil our lunch i was out with my grandchildren the gentleman was so rude i cannot get over the comments especially about my grandchildren and daughter ruined my day couldn't fault the food but just so upset

Delicious food enjoyed with colleagues. Good range of wines and spirits. Beautifully presented food, piping hot. Generous portions. Friendly service.

Me and the wife caught a taxi there mainly for the garden centre, thought we would have a breakfast first?? As it was only 1 minute before they swapped menu for lunch time it just wasn't what we wanted at this time. We were hungry but it just did not a dinner. The garden centre was also a let down. There reason for most of it closed was to early in the year ? We returned home and went to the local centre were it all was open.

Lovely Chicken Madras, not too hot not to mild and chicken was tender. Very impressed with curry and the Naan and rice.
