Great food bit pricey and loads for the kids to do was amazing best bit they enjoyed was the tractor ride

Used to love this place but after I came home from here today I said to my fella ‘I need something to settle my stomach or I need to make myself sick’. Food was so greasy, a fly was battered into the onion ring and the southern fried chicken strips were battered sandwich chicken. Absolutely gross food and has gone rapidly down hill since I last visited, left feeling so ill.

We always have amazing food. Excellent service and delivery too.

What a gem of a place. Very welcoming and friendly. Nice decor and the food was outstanding, roast beef was great and the apple crumble was one of best puddings I've ever had. Will be back 👍

We played a round of snooker golf. Interesting. Had a few drinks.

Currently trying to sleep three hours in and the music from the function downstairs hasn’t stopped. Wasn’t told that there was a function on that night. Apparently it is going to stop at midnight. This is no way a 4 star hotel I wouldn’t give it 2 stars. Never again.

Visited on Friday for what we expected to be another lovely meal and start to the bank holiday. Staff as always polite and helpful unfortunately, though the food this time fell well short of the mark, I went for the chilli which I felt was a microwave job and my wife went for the steak with BBQ topper which was clearly just salsa, we did ask the waitress who advised the supplier had changed. Think we will be looking for a new local unfortunately when we are looking to eat which is a shame.

Went here today for a birthday lunch for 5 people. The lunch menu is really limited for vegetarians. You have either have a sandwich, a baked potato or, a chicken salad (without chicken 🤣) brill. The barman asked the manager Lee, and he was quite rude and just read the items to me from the menu. When leaving, trying to split a bill became a nightmare to the point where the barman was displaying his annoyance with us. 70 quid later, we've agreed we won't be back.

This was my first time, and it was really delightful. There is lots of outdoor seating area, great view of the river and the town, inside a log fire for the winter and very friendly staff. I can't wait to visit again. 😃
