White Hart in Telford and Wrekin

Lovely pub for a nice ale in the cold weather , would highly recommend 👌

A cosy country pub, although service was slow with all members of bar staff slowly making multiple coffees when all I wanted was a quick pint!

Went here for dinner for new year's eve. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food was spot on. They even did a cheese burger for my youngest as he didn't like any mains on set menu. Local beer is nice as well.

A lovely meal on a quiet Monday evening. Service was great, food was good, but the Chicken Kiev just needed a little more sauce. I would still recommend the food though.

Well where do I start, we all had a Sunday dinner, how people can say its the best Sunday dinner they've ever had, think they must be on drugs, for the price it was an absolute joke, there was a breakfast size spoon of mash, one yes one slice of beef, wich bye the way it wasn't even cooked, on 3 of the plates not just mine, and 2, yes 2 roast potatoes, and we even got charged a £1 for an extra one 😀, the plate actually came with a large Yorkshire with the tiny portion of food underneath it, WOW, u may say why on earth did u pay for it, well wen your starving sometimes you just get it down you and move on, wich is exactly what we did, straight to the chip shop up the road, and always check your receipt, because they put £10 on your bill for the privilege of serving you, sorry I don't mind at all leaving the staff a tip, but what I don't like is when it's taken from me without my knowledge, why can't you leave a tip anymore from your own pocket instead of these places assuming they deserve it, never again visit this place for a meal, complete rip off, £16 each for pudding size meal, dont mind paying if you get a decent size meal, joke, Ironbridge, love it, but the restaurants need to take a long look at there portions,

I really enjoyed my evening at The White Hart. Our food was well cooked, interesting and well presented,service was friendly and prices were reasonable. One of the nicest places to eat on the Wharfage, and I really appreciate the fact they employ enough people so that everyone can do a good job.

Can't really comment on the rooms but if they're anything like the rest of the place they'll be top drawer Popped in as we walked past Very inviting signage Friendly staff and very impressive children's sausage meal Never been before but will be back

Didn't stay here only had drinks, plenty of nice ales on tap. Staff very pleasant and friendly, overlooking the river, plenty of outside seating, food looked nice. 😄😄😄😄😄

I would not suggest eating at White Hard. The place and the service were nice, but my fish was dry, and the chips were oily and dark; I assumed they hadn't changed the oil for ages. I wouldn't say that the bill reflects the food quality. Going there for drinks is a different schenario.

Lovely little place to go for a quiet drink after a hike. Great views of the river! Friendly staff too! Nice experience overall.

Food isn’t as fresh as you would expect, so personally I think it’s overpriced. Says it all when a child won’t eat a cheeseburger.

The hotel has great location and is very clean the room we stayed in had a lovely river view We stayed for two nights and the breakfast each morning was fantastic cheers for everything

Stayed at the sister pub, The Water Rat, dined in both places, excellent service all round 👏 👍 😊

Called in here on spec on Monday for some lunch, had read reviews and it seemed worth a visit. It was quiet, we sat in the courtyard under one of sun canopies as we had our 1 year old Granddaughter. The staff both at the bar and serving our meal were very friendly and efficient, could not fault at all. Ordered some lunch which came out in good time. Will certainly call in again. High chairs provided for the little ones. A few dogs in the yard which was lovely to see as we are dog owners too but hadn’t got them with us on our visit.

Lucky little pub just a small way down from the iron bridge. Nice seating area outside, lucent seating arrangement inside. Clean and welcoming, bright and airy.

Stopped here for a late Sunday lunch. Beer is good. Wine is excellent. Had the wonderful Sunday lunch, beef. Very good prices, Sunday roast and a very good glass of wine for under £20! Seating at the front gets the sun till late. Staff friendly and welcoming.

Great Saturday evening meal...nice easy menu....good service...nice staff mostly...good surroundings...ladies loos need checking more often they were not clean and tidy..

Stayed for a little break. Nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good food and a fab place to haveca drink! Met alot of friendly locals. Stop by for a drink, maybe a bite! Wont disappoint!

False advertising arrived at 10 past 8 to be told they stopped serving food when website says they do food till 9 asked for cocktail menu an that was completely different to the 1 online so we walked out

Lovely pub in centre of Ironbridge. Visited one evening when most of the other pubs were shut, closing early or running out of stock! Enjoyed the nice pub garden overlooking the road before moving inside. Great food and drink, decent choice for veggies and burger was v tasty. Staff helped me out getting the proper expenses receipt a few days later which was much appreciated.

We were welcomed on arrival and looked after well.

Wow … simply Wow. Visiting from Australia and had planned on staying the night at Telford which we found to be too sterile and new. Looked for alternatives and were so lucky to find the “White Hart”. Inspected the property after speaking to Oliver over the phone and were enchanted with the property, location and his professionalism. Iron Bridge is a delightful location on the Severn with some amazing attractions.

Really lovely stay. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great. And the location was perfect. The pub kitchen was closed when I checked in but I was directed to a few other options within an easy walk.

The best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Polite staff, pleasant atmosphere.

We didn't stay here, just stopped for a couple of drinks. There's a good range of ales, but we didn't stay for food as there wasn't a lot of choice for veggies.

Food was good, bar staff were good too. Was never asked if we wanted a drink at the table, or advised we needed to goto the bar. Other than that good pub. Even called me to let me know in advance that there was no beef today due to an overnight power cut.

Great place on the River Severn. Food all locally sourced. The burger from the nearest butchers was divine. Made me think about going to church again. 10/10 for Food, Service and atmosphere.
