Best Western Valley Hotel in Telford and Wrekin

Just had the most wonderful stay last weekend. Staff were so lovely and helpful. Food was superb and what a beautiful location. Such great value too! We will be back.

I can only rate this as a restaurant as this is where our company had its Christmas Do. The drinks were really expensive, and I mean exorbitantly. The Christmas meals were pretty tasteless, obviously out of a packet, and very badly prepared. The roast potatoes were dry, shrivelled, and tasteless. I'm sure this is probably a lovely place to stay, and the meals are probably really nice, when cooked to order. They just aren't able to do mass-produced events.

Very calming and relaxing bar, comfortable seating and great wine list. The menu was extensive and featured old favourites with new style choices, very attentive, smiley staff overall a very enjoyable evening x

We had an amazing stay … some would say it’s a dated but I felt this gave it character, room and hotel it’s self was so clean and tidy, staff went above and beyond food and drink was beautiful will definitely be returning very soon

Went here today for our group Christmas lunch. The staff were very efficient and the service was very good. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our meal. Haven't been here before but would certainly go again.

We where there for a meal, could not fault the food, service very attentive, location was convenient for our party, parking g can be a little difficult. Just felt the resturant was looking a little tired and needed a refresh

Had a lovely air conditioned room. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Great location just a short walk from Ironbridge

It's not the best afternoon tea I've had, but you get what you pay for. Service was OK. No option for cold drinks included with afternoon tea for children. Had to buy separately.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a standard room, which was OK, with the usual facilities. The bed was comfortable, and we had a good sleep if you didn't count the fan outside close to the window. Breakfast was buffet style and was of a good standard. Drinks were, in my opinion, slightly expensive but no more than other hotels. The hotel is slightly outside of the village, but only a 15-minute walk gets you to other restaurants and bars. Set in its own gardens with easy access to a lovely walk along the River Severn. We can't fault the staff, from checking in through to checking out, breakfast, the bar, and the cleaners. All were friendly and greeted us with a smile and a hello.

A lovely hotel which is not too pricey. Pleasant rooms, good breakfast, simple but good menu for the evening meal. Excellent location, as just a short walk from the iron bridge.

Lovely meal ( Sunday ) lunch in Jackfield room. Would recommend. Can't say anything about rooms as we were only visiting the area for the day.

Room was adequate plus - everything you needed . small room but everything was tidy and beautifully clean and only down side was the shower / not good at all spotlessly clean but a bit flimsy and not good at holding temperatures but it worked okay
