Fantastic food, very delicious well worth the price

Have just thrown away what has to be the worst takeaway meal we have ever experienced. We ordered a chicken biriani with 2 side vegetable dishes and the tiny amount of chicken was dry and the vegetables were obviously from a frozen packet of diced carrots, green beans and peas. It was inedible and we are now defrosting something from out home freezer.

Well if you want first class service and wonderful food look no further than this fantastic restaurant. This was our first time visiting this establishment we were celebrating my wife's 70th birthday bash, nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend you give Mount Everest a try ,you will not regret it!!

Food was good, but delivered much later than stated on the app. In fact, the driver hadn’t even left the restaurant when we called to enquire how our food had already been delivered.

We always order from here now. The food hygiene rating is 5 and the staff have wonderful manners. They are so polite,patient and great customer service. The food is absolutely delicious. They take so much care with the food. It is the best I have tried for a long time, this is why we keep ordering from them. Great customer service. Food very very late over an hour late and stone cold when arrived very unhappy

Disappointed, went with a friend a couple of weeks/months back and food was really good and service was prompt. So thought would go again. Went tonight with family , to celebrate a birthday , long wait time > hour and a half very bland and cold food. Chicken was overcooked.Not impressed very disappointing outing.

Biryani had no flavour at all. Was the blandest thing I have ever eaten. Usually good food from here but this was terrible tonight

We had a takeaway last night and not only did they get the order wrong, the onion bhaji was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. Three different curries were so bland we could not taste any difference. Very small portions compared to other takeaways we have had. Will not use again.

Takeaway was delivered to wrong address. Food was unbelievably greasy and quite tasteless. Really disappointed

First time at this fantastic restaurant. Our group of five were all more than pleased with their choices of starter mains and deserts. Most ordered from the specialty section of the menu. Very well seasoned and spiced. Staff friendly and attentive. The menu has plenty of choices, a good reason for a return visit. We did book our table for a Saturday evening, you might get lucky with a walk in if just in the area.

Food came late cold and the curry was very watery

Really friendly and hardworking family team who cannot do enough for every customer. I had a group of 25 for my birthday in March, I go with my husband and my children and with friends and have never had anything but delicious food and a lovely experience. It’s a real hub for the community and the best food for miles around. Take away meals are always to the same high standard as in the restaurant. Every single dish is excellent, we have never been disappointed. Ever.

Came for a curry on my birthday and was not disappointed. Delicious starters had by all and main meals were so tasty and plentiful. Big menu I chose Nepalese dish and the flavours were supreme. The staff are so friendly and the laid back atmosphere was great. Good choice of beers too. We will be back soon.

Good food, value for money and delivered on time. Enjoyed the flavours. My only recommendation would be to use Spanish or Red onions for the onion salad. Cooking onions are a bit too strong. Otherwise very good.

Really great food. Unique flavours compared to most other kinds of curry houses, and really good sides.

Literally the WORST curry I have ever had. Chicken Tikka Masala was watery; I could see the water had separated when I took the lid off. An attempt to thicken it was made by adding copious amounts of what I assume was dessicated coconut, that added a horrible texture and stuck all over my mouth. It was vile and I couldn't finish it.

Another wonderful meal. Clean and tidy place with veery speedy service. On arrival it was quiet but soon had customers in. It’s a big restaurant so we sat at the back for a change. For starters we had lamb tikka and chicken tikka. It was cooked perfectly. I had considered having three starters instead of a main course! I had the lamb (I think called Jomson Bedo or similar) and partner had mild chicken curry. For our mains We had three naan breads and pilau rice. Three Nepalese beers were ice cold and lovely. Very clean restaurant, cutlery and glasses. Our food was served quickly and was hot (I saw another review which suggested someone had cold food. We have never experienced that.) The owner and his wife are so eager to please. The food is fresh. The lamb is cooked to perfection. We liked the sauce decoration on the starters plates.

First time visitors, would definitely never return The food was awful. The starter of lamb dumplings, was over cooked, rubbery and tastelessness lamb, served with a very cold sauce. The main course of Sherpa lamb was the most tasteless food I’ve ever had, a brown mess served on a tea plate, it was Luke warm and even the green beans were cold. The boiled rice was even under cooked It was consistent throughout the rest of the tables food, we even asked for fresh chilli to add to the food and was brought a dish of chilli powder We won’t return

The owner delivered it personally and is always a pleasure to meet, the food is perfect every time. No complaints whatsoever. Great restaurant.

The starter we had was really tasty. But our mains had no taste at all we had to throw them away. I'm really disappointed as I have been to eat in the restaurant and it was lovely. That's why we ordered the take away from here.

We’ve been firm foodie-fans of this Nepalese Restaurant. The service is really good, staff who really care about your experience and the lovely personal experience of the owner coming over to talk to you. The food is wonderful – absolutely the best meal we’ve had out in quite a while. Highly recommended.

£7.95 for a small 2 egg omelette ? Very disappointed considering we have had good food in the past. I actually feel like I have been ripped off. Won't be ordering from here again on principal.

Outstanding service from lovely staff. Initially a problem with the order, however I have ordered from this restaurant for years and have had amazing, tasty food each time. Date of visit: 15/9/22 First, it always worries me when I've placed the order and then to be told it will be 10 to 15 minutes. Second, this must be up there with the worse curries ever eaten. I've seen fab reviews on another review site and bad ones too, so I don't know what other have been eating. All the curries were in a watery sauce, with little flavour. The rum rum chicken was shown as being hot yet was very bland. None of the curries were enjoyable and the chicken pieces were small and overcooked, particularly very hard and difficult to chew. The directions to the place and car park at the rear were good, and it isn't maintained as they outline. Interior decor is very good. The oddity is the pricing, see below. Clearly the menu on their site hasn't been updated. Own Just Site Eat Chicken Bhoona - £5.95 - £7.95 Piro kukhura - £6.95 - £8.95 Chicken Dhansak - £6.25 - £7.95 Rum Rum Chicken - £7.45 - £8.95 Garlic naan - £2.50 - £2.95 Plain Naan - £2.25 - £2.95 Plan Rice - £2.50 - £2.95 Pilau Rice - £2.60 - £3.25 Totals £36.45 £45.90 Paid £40.90 They added 3 poppadoms in the bag with a small pot of raita. I presume that that was free. I certainly didn't order. I shall not return, and I cannot recommend. The place had been highly recommended by my son's boss. I just wish I'd taken pictures of the curries now.

Heard good things about this place. Really disappointed with the extremely dry chicken and watery sauce which was tasteless. The chicken was gristly and chewy. Probably one of the worst curry’s we have ever had. Nan was dry and tasteless. Honestly awful don’t bother.

Extremely please by the service and food. The order was ready on time and the member of staff was welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was recommended by a friend and we will definitely be returning. The food was enjoyed by the whole family. It was nice to have a tasty curry which wasn't sweet and tasteless. What was described on the menu as a medium spiced curry was quite mild but going to ask for more spice next time and see how it is.
