Honestly, ever since I landed from New York to Birmingham, I needed a great Caribbean spot. This place is VOUCHED! especially the jerk chicken and chicken soup I got with the coca bread! Thank you . I’ll be ordering again.

Feeling hungry but not knowing what I wanted I was headed for a burger spot or something but driving down pershore Road I noticed family vibez. Instantly I knew what I wanted to eat. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile and I was asked how I was today. Great service but it wasn’t until the food arrived I realised the real magic happens in the kitchen. I didn’t need to scan the menu I knew I needed jerk chicken and it did not dissapoint. A lip smacking slightly spicy bbq jerk sauce covered barrel grilled chicken with perfect char and tenderness, on a bed on rice and pea with steamed veg that itself was seasoned nicely . I had started with a fork but it honestly had me licking my fingers by the end. I also ordered a festival dumpling and using it to mop up the sauce, with its sweetness the dumpling added another dimension to the dish. To drink I ordered the sexy juice. A tropical concoction with rum, coconut shavings and what tasted like a creamy liquor. The portion sizes were as expected. Full hearty meals that warm the soul. A good selection of patties available aswel The pricing was fair. I highly recommend if in the area 7.7/10

The food here is great. I always go for the Jerk chicken with rice and peas and steamed veg! It’s really great. The small portion is very filling. I wish they would make more of their coleslaw it’s sold out a lot of the time! The service is always pretty fast. The employees are always very kind!

There seemed to be a mix up with our address which caused the delay in delivery. Please be aware that this is the first time this has happened in over 10 orders delivered. Still the best..

Ordered same item last week and was delicious. Peppered steak was really chewy today. Last week it was cooked perfectly-melted in the mouth.

The curry mutton with white rice and steamed veg was delicious…again! The Jamaican Fruit Cake had all the flavour with a lovely light texture. The delivery service was, once again friendly. Many thanks!

I tried to call ahead but was told they don't take phone orders. When I got there I asked a man (who i assume worked in the back) why they don't take orders. He proceeded to ignore me and when the server returned he said "you tell her why we don't take food orders" instead of addressing me. Absolutely disgusting attitude. The server was really nice about it but after the man's attitude towards me I didn't wanna spend my money . AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Bought food from there a week ago for my friends. enjoyed what we had Only one problem, the fish was so over fried which I wasted. Problem also never have some of the things on the menu provided to look at😏

Food is always lovely, but how do I buy a chicken soup, without chicken n without ground provisions? This was just flavoured soup water.. not good. However, my curried chicken n hard food was good.

The service really let's down this restaurant they didn't send the 2 soda's, portion of plaintain or Jamaican ginger cake that I ordered otherwise food tasted great and speedy delivery service.

Update on my review. Still the best food , I won’t eat from any other Caribbean can’t beat this one … Good customer service 10/10 . Only problem I have is I can’t order on just eat says I’m too far , only Uber can you guys change this I don’t mind paying extra for delivery 🤛

Visited this shop for the first time yesterday. They weren't even open as yet when i got there, just setting up as i got there 10mins early to opening time. I kindly asked since they were opening soon if they didnt mind me placing an order in early as i don't mind waiting and they said yes and offered me to have a seat inside while i wait. I even changed my mind from a small to a large takeout and got a cheeky portion of plaintaintongo with it; they were so understanding and i paid the differnce. Everyone in the shop was lovely. The kitchen staff even said hello from the back with lots of smiles. As the food i ordered wasnt for me but for my partner deffo didnt stop me from tasting some of them big fat juicy plaintian. Im looking forward to going back and grabbing me a plate of pepper prawns! All in all, I'll give them a strong 10/10!

Portion sizes are lovely, authentic Jamaican dishes. The team are friendly and respectful. Before you leave with your order they clarify what you have ordered. They do get extremely busy - so bare this in mind be considerate and have patience. Your food is worth the wait! It's best to call in or visit the shop as they provide you with an updated menu daily due to high demand. Also for those that may be wondering - they are Halal. 🙂🙂

DON'T PUT UP WITH SUB-STANDARD FOOD! GO TO REGGAE KITCHEN, BEARWOOD RD INSTEAD - THE REAL DEAL. Crap. Asked for chicken soup - I was told it was chicken on the bone but when I got home it was like little bits of chippy chicken pie. The whole thing tastes like they mated canned Heinz soup and Cow & Gate Baby Food - and then impregnated the pie for good measure. No doubt this new creature will be given a Latin name and feature on local news, the pretty news-reader all po-faced. I'm guessing the good reviews come from people who know Jack about authentic Caribbean grub or have given up hope in getting the standards they deserve 😔. I make it better myself, and I ain't from the Caribbean. Look at the photos - where's the frickin chicken? Or is it 'plant based'? 🌾

I ordered food of nearly £15 it never came but on the app it said delivered so so so angry. I contacted the restaurant they told me to google just eat number they wouldn’t give me the driver’s number. Extremely terrible customer service i am hungry and i lost my money

Delicious Food! Ordered from here for the first time (goat curry & white rice) and it was hot, flavourful & well cooked. Will be ordering from here again.

The food is Bostin as usual. But please reconsider who you choose to deliver it.. it arrived stone cold and I spent 15 minutes explaining where the Pershore Road is considering you are on the same road as me it was really annoying, 30 minutes late and just left it on the doorstep... £16 for a mutton curry, sorry but that's not good enough with poor service.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere in the shop its self it had a vast menu which is brilliant, me and my dad got different food, he really enjoyed the fish he got. I had curry mutton white rice with vegetables dumplings and pattie. All was delicious size was big enough to have 2 dinners from large portion. Vegetables were really nice and dumplings very big 😋 only down side was the pattie had hot and I'm not into really spicy hot food but the bonus was the pastry was so flaky and light so I was still able to enjoy it it just bun me for a little while my dad would of loved the pattie

The driver was pleasant enough. There are road works outside the block making access and parking difficult. However, bear in mind next time, there is parking in the block.

If I’m in the area or close by i will go here. The food is cooked with love. I love all the dishes on their menu and have tried every single one. They make some really nice home made juices aswell like Guinness punch and sexy juice.

In the instructions I asked NO MICROWAVE DO NOT WARM but food was still microwaved. Need to read the instructions what customers have put!

Ordered for my daughter and myself, couldn't get through on the phone, so went in person. Had Oxtail and hard food, and Fried chicken rice gravy and festival. The food was plentiful, hot, and moreish. Thoroughly enjoyed.

First time ordering from here, amazing food, tasted really good, and delivery was quick too, thank you.

It took then over 1hr and 45 mins to deliver. When i called to check the status of delivery. The lady asked for my order number which i gave and she told me the order is still at the shop prepared but the driver had not shown up. Even though on the app it said that the driver had been at the shop for over 45mins. Whille on the phone to her my order was delivered. So i dont how it could be at the shop with no driver to being delivered at the same time. When i got the food the gravy was overflowing which in its self is not bad as i like lots with my rice. However i have never had Caribbean food that has had so little flavour and spice and taste as this meal. I eat of lot of this cuisine as its my favourite £20 for the meal and the only thing good was it was hot in temperature. Never ordering from here again. Sorry

Fantastic Jamaican food! Ordered on deliveroo and had super quick service, generous portion sizes and very tasty food, one of the best we have had. We had curry mutton, jerk chicken and fried plantains with rice and peas. Will definitely order again!

Jerk lamb SO TENDER, mutton curry was to die for & the service was so good the owners and workers there are so lovely so welcoming, helped us so much with what to get. so friendly. 11/10 would come again everyday. Super well priced and very very generous portions! AND ALL HALAL!!!!

Amazing Jamaican food, was absolutely blown away by the quality and service. The jerk chicken was super flavourful and the lamb meat was very tender. They are also very generous with their portions we just had to try one of everything! Will definitely be back here. I recommended the curry mutton as well as the plantain.

Absolutely fantastic food, ordered for our anniversary meal, superb, first class. I had the peppered steak, it just melted in my mouth, generous portions, my wife had the Stew Brim, again great taste, well pleased with the quality of the food & the overall service. Can not fault it, will come again.
