Simla Balti in Walsall

We went out as a family group of 10, which took up half of the Restaurant space. The Dining area is a nice friendly size, not too big not too small. The staff had moved all the tables we needed together which was fantastic as it meant we could all sit together. The service wasn’t affected one bit by us all being together. We all ordered different meals and every meal came out hot and ready to eat. The staff were attentive and nothing was missed or forgotten from our order, nothing was sent back and everything was eaten and enjoyed. The price was very reasonable, the Restaurant is unlicensed so you bring your own drinks. There’s a shop either side of the Restaurant selling drinks. Everything about our experience was perfect, we have been eating here now for many years and never once had a bad meal or experience… 100% Customer Satisfaction “Well done guys and thank you.

Brilliant food,great flavours great spice , had a few from lately and this is my go to place now for a Indian and the restaurant always checks the order notes ! Highly recommend 10/10

We has a family have been using Simla for years. Only ever had takeout but decided for my 50th we would sit in for a meal. What a lovely end to my birthday, Food was delicious as always, Staff so helpful and friendly. I even got presented with Chocolates and a card from the owner which was so thoughtful. Highly recommend for a meal in or takeout you won’t be disappointed.

The driver was at the wrong block of flats and we are only 120meters from the restaurant. The 4 skinny chicken wings and the half dish of Bombay potatoes were not value for money. The main meal tandoori mix grill was very nice. I had the same order about a week ago and it was perfect

We visited with friends for the first time since before the pandemic - had been a favourite before then, but got out of the habit of going. It was an excellent visit, the food was wonderful and the service was excellent. I had Keema Saag Balti, delicious, and every meal ordered by the group was said to be fantastic. Great food, good value, thoroughly recommended!!

Food tasty, delivery good. Only downside is I think when spending well over £30 on a takeaway, they should add a few poppadoms!

Food was ok..which it had a few more pieces of chicken inside..only 6 pieces of chicken and loads of sauce...the stuffed paratha was more like 2 parathas like a sandwich very different than i am accustomed to and the filling was very little..the garlic rice and lemon rice was really good though.if the curries had so little chicken..i am happy that i didnt order the mixed grill might habe blown a gasket. i wont be in a hurry to order from them again.

The original delivery time was 21.10 but they extended it and were still a couple minutes late. This is the second time I have ordered from them and both times it was late. I understand circumstances can be against you sometimes but 2 orders in a row. The "European" food ordered was chicken nuggets and fried chicken. The nuggets were over cooked, as was the fried chicken - which was very dry. The indian food was pleasant but as my children were not happy, it spoilt it a little.

Great food quality, but jalfrezi was disappointing as no peppers and only felt like a madras slightly less spice as only had one or two onions and maybe half a tomato, still really nice but lacking in ingredients

£4.50 for sauce! Really! Chips were under cooked. And no free popadoms??

Absolutely rubbish service, driver turned up demanding extra £3 or I wouldn’t get my order laughing his head off , food was Luke warm definitely wouldn’t recommend this takeaway go elsewhere as appalling company

Delicious food, as always. The only reason for 4 stars out of 5 for food quality is the Tikka Roll wasn't piping hot. I would have given a score of 4.5 if I could've. I would happily order from this restaurant again.
