Miller & Carter Steakhouse in Solihull

Food was cold had to be sent back took ages to get drink plates were mixed up I got the wrong steak and asked for honey mustard on wedge got vinegeratte, so did my husband , sever dropped plates all over the floor by us,will not be going back again disappointed considering the bill for 6 of us was over £300 , got in touch with the manager. Response was I will make sure staff etc will be given info or words to that effect . Very disappointing Birthday treat for me,

As always the steaks were cooked to perfection and the drinks were good. Great service from start to finish. A good experience as usual. I prefer this place as opposed to other pubs in the area. A nice Easter weekend meal. I will go back soon.

My husband and myself have gone to a few different miller and carter restaurants and we both agree that this restaurant is the best by far. The food is always amazing and the staff are so welcoming. The waitress that we have had a few times, Priscilla, is so lovely. She’s made us feel welcome every time we’ve seen her and she can’t do enough for you. We will definitely keep returning to this restaurant and would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

The Venue and interior of this building were outstanding, I really liked the way the place was decorated with bulls, and as such celebrating the cow. The place was clean, toilets were spotless and smelled really nice. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. We were served by Catherine, and she was lovely, so deserves a mention. The food itself was very nice, we ordered off of the 3 course menu, but ended up getting the extras. And to be honest, probably would have been better off ordering off of the main menu. The steak was well cooked and tasted lovely, but if I’m honest, was a little underwhelming for its size and shape. My wife (bless her) is very fussy how she likes her steak cremated… and was cook to perfection for her (thank you chef). With all the extras we had, the overall bill was quite expensive, but worth it. I would recommend this place, and definitely return if in the area again, if only for the wonderful service.

For medical reasons my husband is on a low fat diet. A massive thank you to Penny our server who helped with his menu selection and ensured the chef was aware. She even created her own dessert for him. Thank you.

Birthday celebration meal with family. Lovely food and excellent service from our server Simon, who kept us well topped up with drinks, tasty food, took special care of the birthday girl (89th birthday 😊 ) and kept us laughing with his wicked sense of humour. Would definitely recommend.

Greeted by Pricilla who we've not seen In a while, lovely welcome, here for mums 93rd birthday. 6 of us ,drinks arrived quickly, had starters to share . Salmon mains for mum ,wife roasted lamb rump then 4 various steaks for rest if us. Everything cooked great ,lovely sauces all food great . Prisilla sorted out a birthday plate and chocolate brownie and candkes ,staff sang happybirthday. Mum loved it All in all a wonderful lunch Many thxs to all the staff

Tried to meet clients that went to dine prior to my arrival but had to leave due to bad service and overhearing kitchen abuse due to sub standard food. No one should have to wait be seated for 30 mins whilst watching the staff talk to each other. Chloe offered assistance initially but failed to deliver. My clients left so I met them elsewhere

A lovely evening, but what made the evening was our lovely server Sylvia , a total credit to your team . She made us feel so welcome it was our son’s 9th birthday and she really took time to speak to him and ask him all about his birthday, which he loved . Great service from Cath, she's an absolute diamond, nothing was too much trouble for her and she even joined in with our banter which was lovely. We ordered an absolute feast and everything was cooked to perfection so a huge thank you to the kitchen. We had a warm welcome from when we walked through the door to when we left. Friday lunch with Mum, minus 4 due to covid (not quite the family get together. Love this place ,great friendly staff ,the two ladies were fantastic, recognised Mum which was lovely ( Mum has dementia) Shared 2 starters, which were great, then mains ,Salmon was fantastic, Mum loved it ,wife's lemon herb chicken was tasty, moist and full of flavour. My T-bone (Christmas treat) was cooked to perfection, excellent red wine sce ,wedge of lettuce with blue cheese, and the extra onion loaf both lush . Christmas dinner. Quite poor. I Expect to pay a premium on Christmas Day. The staff were generally fantastic but the roast turkey dinner was poor. The roast potatoes were obviously frozen, stuffing under cooked and veg tasteless. Stick to steak!!

I visited with my husband and my 10 year old daughter for dinner on Friday 1st December. Our waitress was Priscilla and she was fantastic - very attentive and accommodating. The food was excellent - steak was cooked perfectly.

Our sons 21st, came and sang HBD, made a lush plate for the birthday cake, think the manager said Annabel? In laws are awkward eaters so she ran about for them with different request, food was amazing and was cooked exactly how we asked. This Miller is our local go to and has never failed us but this one was extra special for the occasion and messing bout for my in laws who are really picky lol

We visited this restaurant as we were in Solihull and wanted a steak. So, where do you go? M&G. However, whilst we knew we were going for a great steak, the service at this restaurant was second to none and this was purely due to the service we received from Simon, our waiter. Simon was attentive and friendly, he got our drinks and gave us time before ordering our food. He listened attentively to my husbands mustard allergy and served us with a smile, a laugh and grace. Simon. Clearly lives what he does and wants his customers to enjoy their experience at M&G. He is a great ambassador for the restaurant. Thank you Simon!

We had a great dinner this evening at Miller and Carter. Sylvia was fantastic. Fast service, very sincere, professional and attentive. We received all of our food in a timely manner. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. Will be back again 100% Would recommend highly to anyone in the area.

We had a lovely meal here tonight. Our waitress Sylvia was amazing. So friendly and welcoming. The butcher’s block of different steak cuts to share was a great way to try a bit of everything and good value. My only bit of constructive criticism for those at head office would be to improve the chimichurri sauce as it was over cooked and too oily. Ideally I would have liked a fresher herb salsa sauce. Overall a great experience!

We had a really enjoyable evening. The dining experience was made extra special thanks to our really lovely waitress Sylvia. She was extremely helpful and friendly and made sure everything was all ok with the meal. Also she asked if we were here celebrating and when we told her it was our son's birthday she ensured he had a special birthday dessert.
