This is not my local chippie, but it is the chippie I always buy from, their food is delicious and fresh. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Love it.

Had large cod chips and curry sauce excellent nice friendly staff

Hi I tried phoning up to complain, but they answer and put the phone down straight away, I had large fish and a scallop and curry sauce. The curry sauce tasted ok, but fish was all stringy and the batter was wet with fat or grease and the scallop was swimming in yellow cooking fat, not nice all went in the bin. You should have answered your phone and this review would not be here .... Not using again

Best chips I’ve had from a chippy in a while, better than Atlantis, Seavers, Mackadown, Chelmunds and Lea Village. Owner ought to update Google with pictures of their menu though so people wanting to look at it in advance from home have that pleasure otherwise those people are just going to go on JustEat etc and this place loses that custom

Chips was anemic well under cooked, floor was slippy to the point I fell jolted my neck hit my leg and elbow, no one seemed bothered just put a wet sign out after I mentioned it and laughed it off no care of if I was okay no one even asked

This place is gonna kill someone with all that grease and oil they use, it's not even olive oil which I a healthy oil it's the heart attack causing cheap vegetable oils they use,, avoid at all costs they care about money not your health

Been enjoying the food here for 30+ years, friendly service and accommodating too. Great parking, can't wait for the next lunchtime visit when I'm in the area.

Foods nice but never consistent, sometimes the lamb meat is cut in to big thick chunks and there’s always loads amount of grease from the chips in the tray every time I have it chips are always really greasy

Used to go here all the time then the chips wer tasting gritty had them a few times. So stopped going. After about 6 weeks i tried again. But no still gritty. WHY.

I am local to colas and used to eat regularly there , them notcied I was becoming unwell , then I herd they failed there standard health check , gave benifit of dought and eat there again today , las couple of hours , had cronic stomach pain , never again !!!!

Bad experience, ordered a mix meat kebab a chicken wrap and saveloy. Okay so the wrap not prepared properly and just fell apart I needed a knife and fork to eat it. The mixed meat was dry and hard the saveloy was cold outside and chewy inside READ : the mixed meat must of been bad my partner immediately needed to empty her whole bowls after consuming as did I and have had diarea 4 times already and still feeling unsettled.

They specifically choose the best seasonal potatoes from particular varieties, to individually hand cut over a ton of chips each day, ensuring you get the freshest, juiciest, perfectly cooked chip every time. The fish is always freshly cooked and succulent, batter nice and crispy. The service is friendly, patient and professional, and you will not see them committing the cardinal chip shop sin: putting salt and vinegar on after placing the fish on top of the chips (simply unforgivable). They have a good range and other products are carefully selected, tasty and expertly prepared. Portions are generous and although they could easily charge more, prices are the best on the manor and beyond. NB. they do chips and gravy; if you've been up North, you understand.

One of the best chippies in Birmingham. Lovely delicious hot food. Nice size portions of chips. With a great menu and lots of specials on the menu. Really friendly staff (chips with a smile). That even cook my Mom a fresh piece of fish every time. It seems nothing is too much trouble. Reasonable prices for beautiful food.

Lately it's hit and miss. Fish I had last time was dry and was definitely reheated! One of the girls whose been there forever whose usually day staff is so miserable.

Zero Stars Been going to this chip shop for over 12 years and since reopening after Lockdown the food as gone right down hill lamb kebab tastes like Old Boots (chips are Gritty been left in the rumbler to long) fish tasted like it had just come out of lockdown itself. Best thing about the chip shop now is I won’t be going back there come on guys start cooking fresh I am now the man going to Atlantis

Used to the best chippy in the area. Over the last 12 months it has gone way down hill, I take my wife there once a week when she is on an afternoon shift and the food has gone from great to very poor. Not going to go there any more I'll try somewhere else in future.

I had Cod & Chips last night and as soon as I got home with closer inspection you could clearly see the fish was old and had been heated several times, the batter was very dark in colour and stuck to the fish. The fish didn't smell right either. Clearly was given old stock. Was a very poor piece of fish. I will never use them again!!!!

Excellent food quality across the board in my experience. Staff are helpful, friendly and service is always very good. Portions are very generous. Parking available around the site which is accessible from the main road easily enough.

Best fish and chip shop only let down is the young man on kebabs is very mean with the food, when the boss or one of the girls do them for you they are twice the weight, my husband sends me in and can tell straight away who served me, he says ask the gaffer, but because they are busy I don't like to make a fuss, but it's true he needs telling.

Best chip shop in the local area in our opinion! Great service and food is always of a good standard. Portion sizes are very generous - large chips is enough for a family of 4. Highly recommended.

Absolutely lovely fresh and hot food. Always seems to be busy. So a very popular shop. But you're never in the queue for long. They will even cook you something fresh whilst you wait if you require it. Nice friendly staff. Great menu and great offers too.

Easily the best chip shop in Birmingham, Me and my girlfriend drive 18 miles just for the lamb wraps and I do this 4-5 times a week, really wish there was a shop like this closer to my home
