This is an absolute rip off for what you get if your having kebab and chips go to the chip shop you get 5 times more and half the price!!!

I used love their food. But I been yesterday boat chicken donner box... fries and Salad ok but chicken is processed, not original chicken...its like a jelly...disgusting. hope they notice soon... Toilets are always not working as usual... They price they charging, food quality and service is poor.

Usually come here after gym. And it is perfect however the spring rolls never are they do no use the 3 minute timer they are always burned and they have way to much meat than what is meant to be. Secondly there cheesy fries are usually very cheesy and warm this time it had hardly any cheese and lady on till said that’s what it is as it’s in pack when I clearly understand the right technique shown by head office is to squirt cheese all over dinner white pocket and then put it in the fries packet. Doner burger was made perfect only slightly cold but that’s understandable as it’s not deep fried. Cheese bites have been changed to different pack and timer had not been used as they were slightly raw. I’m not one to usually leave a bad review however after paying so much to receive this is not acceptable. Walsall better in this sense

It’s the third time we have ordered from here through just eat and we are so pleasantly surprised with how spot on our order is every single time! We do make a lot of changes to the standard order like removing sauces, adding pickles etc and it always arrived exactly how we like it. Whenever we had food from GDK in the past, but from different locations like Merry Hill or Newcastle (on holiday) there was always something wrong, something missing. But not from West Bromwich. It’s just soo good. We are very happy satisfied customers. Thank you

I found a hair in my food and I told them about it. They took my food and went to check the cameras. After she came back she said that it’s not any of her staffs hair but my hair that fell from my clothes. She behaved rudely and blamed us. We are their regular customer but this is my first time that this ever happened to me

Definitely no more will come here Unkind service I love GDK but this month they don't give it as they should..... I definitely recommend GDK on Mosley there always everything perfect

Food when arrived at the table was cold

I ordered an OG kebab, after a while I spoke to a staff member. I asked how long will the order will take, she took down my order number and went back to tills and never returned. After 40-45 minutes I went to the tills and asked for a refund, the refund took 15 minutes. In total I was in the shop for over an hour. Not even a sorry, and the staff don't have a clue what they're doing.

Ordered form here yesterday for the plant based donner kebab all that was in there was salad and 4 veggie chicken pieces in my box and 5 chips its a joke I paid quite a bit and found it very disappointing and will never go back be careful guys

Old meat, asked for NOT spicy and get spicy anyway, had to go to the bathroom straight away after eating it !!! Need inspection from health environment agency. products are definitely OLD and NOT for human consumption !!!! AVOID THIS PLACE !!!

I was craving Kebabs, so I drove to GDK, West Brom. The staff were polite and service was good. The food was cold and the salad did not taste fresh. Very disappointed

It's not the first time when it happens to order from here a doner mega box, and the box to not be filled. The meat is not enough even for a cat.

Second incident where my usual three sauces with my OG kebab have been forgotten. First order was a family order and no one got sauces. Usually you get the sauce trio with each Donner kebab sandwich OG. Second time I left a comment please don't forget it and I paid for and ordered three more sauces too. So I expected 6. I only got three. The sauces are pinnacle to the kebab taste and what is normally on the kebab is always so little. Did they discontinue giving the sauces anymore? If so bad decision

I don't know about the place, but something went wrong at the takeaway. They mix up the orders, the food is bad, they confused the tomato with the cabbage for the salad three times... and the meat for the boxes seems to be made from leftovers, so dry and burnt...

Very low quantity gym box compared to all other German donar kebab branches. They didn't even fill half the box. We ordered 6 boxes and its just waste of money. They are robbing customers money.

Toiletts loked!!!!!!! I just come with my kids from Park, and we wanted to wash hands, before eat......such a shame!!!!

We paid for 2 kebabs, 1 large and 1 regular size, they gave us both regular size. I realised this when I got home, and I kind of saw they both looked the same, so I weighed them, and both were exactly the same. I called them to complain as this is not the first time that happened this, and the person who attended the phone did not believe us. Very bad customer service! Please don't go, they just cheat to their customers.

Cheating on meat! You order one large one regular, and you get both the same! Both regular sizes! The difference between the regular and large was 2 grams! After complaining over the phone, I have been told by the staff that this is not true and not possible. This happened to me before, that's why checking the weight. Avoid!

The girl in the turban was very rude to us, talking as if we were stupid. If she doesn't like her job, she shouldn't come and that's it, but you can't be rude to people who haven't done anything to you. If you made a mistake with the order, justapologize or change it. There is no need to lie or speak out of tone.

Prices skyrocketed quality dropped on cheapest level possible. I paid around 8£ for a doner box very disappointed by the portion given and it tasted horrible kids hated it and threw in the bin, congratulations for successfully losing customers i hope people realise that they are being ripped off from this doner place and stop going there. If this is the future of kebabs, count me out! There were a few slivers of meat in my meal (kebab n chips n cheese) , mostly fries and the cheese sauce tasted nothing like cheese. Chilli sauce was good. Will stick to my local chippy.

Driver did not deliver food, called the West Bromwich site and they rudely said it’s an Uber problem not ours. Literally the worst customer service someone needs to train these guys again in customer service.

Disgusting food, I have always ate and ordered from here since 2 years ago, but recently, the food has been so disgusting. i am very disappointed and will be making a formal complaint and taking things further. i have received hair in my food 4 times since ive ate there. the amount of chicken or lamb they put in the donner kebab is ridiculous, the bread is never warm or soft, is always cold and dry and soo chewy, makes my jaws hurt, the staff are SOOO RUDE, SO SO SOO RUDE, i feel like speaking to their parents on how they raised such disgusting children. they have no manners towards elderlies, and i can always hear then gossip and talking behind costumers back. what happened to this place? fix up.

Lovely tasty food, that is filling & reasonably priced. Delivery may be quicker than going to the shop, as I waited over 30 mins for my order.

I ate a local kebab set a few days ago and it was great . Today I ordered for home own collection . The kebab set was cold, not tasty, full of vegetables . The fries were so hard they had been left for several hours . . I don't recommend takeaway . After this treatment, I will not visit this kebab and I do not recommend it .

Im 8 months pregnant they gave me beef meat not cooked properly 🤮lady said they can't change it she was rude as well ! Some tables had the lights cover in black metal check it how dust is in there 🤮 🤮🤮🤮 I had to go another place and paid again we see when my money will back to my account!!!

First time at GDK, staff were very friendly and helpful with me choosing a meal. Also very knowledgeable about what they were offering. The food was a little atomic explosion of taste in my mouth and I'm now slowly slipping into a food coma. Definitely going again and if you love kebabs, go grab yourself one.

I come there very often they just got a MINUSPOINT due to NO OWN PARKING, but the Food is really good & really worth. Over the Price we can Diskuss but what i say it is really worth to go for your own and try it at least ONCE !

Awful. The doner meat is cut so thin its tasteless. Paid extra for large portion and didn't get much and Fries were cold. Definitely not worth the price.

The bread at the West Bromwich branch is consistently rock-hard, making it quite unpleasant to eat – almost like trying to bite into a vertical papadum. This has happened on multiple occasions. During my last visit, I raised the issue with the staff, and although they agreed to replace it, the frequent need to send orders back for corrections is frustrating. Furthermore, there's an ongoing problem with the food consistently being served cold. I strongly urge you to address these issues promptly and provide better training to your staff to ensure the quality of both the bread and the temperature of the food. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED

West Bromwich gdk absolutely amazing I only use West Brom ever since it’s opened I go here specially because of raluca and Aisha amazing people really friendly.they will go out there way for you any day .best gdk out of all I travel here 15 miles each way when I have the Moseley rd branch on my doorstep but sadly Moseley rd are not upto standards so guys get down to West Bromwich branch ask for aisha or raluca you will not be disappointed. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was looking for something different for dinner and my work colleagues rave over the Birmingham branch so thought I would try the West Brom branch. Highly delighted with the food and the set up worked well. Liked seeing where the food is prepared as well. A very quick in and out with polite staff. Highly recommended and will return

Send out the wrong order and blamed it on the uber driver. Refused to give refund, extremely disappointed and will not use again!

Visited here numerous times, always for takeaways. The staff do an outstanding job, very professional and friendly. Majority of the time the kebabs are excellent, however there have been occasions when the meat or chips are not very warm. I will use regularly but would much prefer the food to be hot always as I enjoy the kebabs much more this way.

Very good. First time we have been to GDK and we were not disappointed. It's been on my to do list for a while so we did actually make a special trip after getting impatient waiting for the Merry Hill one to open. Well worth a visit, but don't be under any illusion, it is literally kebab and chips.

Food was so good,service was quick and perfect seating and the staff were friendly. I have to say definitely a recommend.

I received my German Doner Kebab large with no sause or salad and just chicken one and I when I received my order it looked like a small portion and I asked a staff member about it if that is large or small and she went to the chef to ask about it and it didn’t even know it if that was small or large soo after that she asked the chef that was a large portion and I’m really annoyed 😠 that it was really empty kebab and staff didn’t even ask if that we wanted get it changed or not but we still eat it because we were soo hungry but that not only one my friend order the same one like mine and the meat was so cold 🥶 could even feel like eaten that but we enjoy soo many coming down here every week and now I don’t really wanna come down anymore I either eat somewhere els then coming down here I’m disappointed by the service of the chef and staff !!!!!!!!!!! I won’t even give one star but i love this place soo many but today it putted me really down today No more coming down at this place anymore !!! I meant it

This place is quite hit and miss with regards to the quality of food when ordered for delivery. Its often rushed and poorly packed and you can tell not much care had been taken to packaging or delivering a quality service. They were great when they first open a few years ago ... not for me anymore

German doner kebab is No1 Doner kebab hub and about the best since my eating doner kebab I can categorically say, it is a German experience.

Not the best German Donner outlet as the food served was luke warm yet took a while to arrive at our table? Lady serving was polite yet the other young lady who brought the food to us wasn't clear in her tone and basically couldn't understand what she said! Had better experiences at other outlets...

Spring rolls are really nice and full of meat, the jalapeños inside are definitely a good addition as well. Donnor box was also really nice but I was disappointed with the amount of fries which I was served in the box hence the reason I have only given 4 stars. Was literally hardly any fries in the bottom but there was plenty meat which was good but I feel as if the ratio of chicken and fries should be balanced.

Food was nice at the West Bromwich restaurant, was put off after the Balsall Heath experience a few months prior, but thought I'd give them a second chance after being re-recommended, but this place gets a thumbs up.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, all staff were so welcoming and polite, the restaurant is extremely clean, and the food was exceptional. They had even given us an additional dish for free, in condolences that there fryer wasn't working at the time. Overall, A brilliant stay, and exceeding expectations, and a thank you to Aisha and the team for making the visit the best it could be.

Bit dry due to lack of sauce. No sauce pots given like other German Doner restaurants provide. Bread was too soft. Not crispy... Stuff was friendly.

We visited today as a family of 4 the menu is good with plenty of choice for all. The kebab meat was amazing and the meals we had came with dipping sauces that were amazing too. The food was tasty, fresh and filling. The restaurant was spotlessly clean with comfy boothes. We will definitely be returning!!

Visited with my family after shopping in Nottingham. Kids enjoyed the burgers. Kebabs were tasty and staff were extremely helpful. All in all a lovely experience.

So was looking forward to trying their food. I ordered a kebab and fries on just eat, which said delivery would be 30 minutes. 50 minutes later I was still waiting when up pops a message my order has been cancelled and I will get a refund. No explanation, no phone call and to add insult to injury it will be days before I see the refund. Won’t use them again. Thoroughly disappointed!

This place is amazing! The staff are warm and attentive. I've been 3 times now, today I brought all ma family for a treat and was yummy. Food is delicious, great atmosphere, super clean and enviting, must-visit and try! 😊

I ordered around 11pm and received hard cold food. If the quality is gonna drop because it is late then don't deliver after 11 and dont charge the usual price. I have been around long enough to know your staff gave me left over stuff rather than freshly made as it was the end of the day. I should never have ordered post 11. Never will I order from you again.

I love GDK and having a branch in West Brom is more convenient than travelling to Birmingham. The staff here are always friendly, and they always fill your kebab with a decent portion of protein, unlike other branches. The place has a great amount of indoor seating, which is cleaned an sanitised after ever customer.

My family have ate from the West Bromwich German Doner Kebab on three separate occasions. Our first two visits were positive but our last visit on 23/11/21 resulted in my wife and I having to make an emergency trip to the AE due to contracting food poisoning. I certainly will not be eating from them again and advise that you stay clear.
