This was a fantastic pub for drinking, with a quirky design and vibe! The bookshelves and models based on machinery are lovely decorations, counter is well-presented too and the seating is comfortable.

Nice food and great beer. Good range of beers, well kept so tasted fresh. Does have a small outside area.

Very nice wetherspoons pub relaxing rather than the usual ones that are hustle and bustle but the food in there is sparce compared with other witherspoon pubs

Always a pleasure coming to this pub the service is amazing I'm always ordering off the wether spoon app and the speed to which my drinks and food arrive are amazing used other pubs with apps but this one is the quickest.

One of the best Wetherspoons in the Midlands, in my opinion. It used to be a court house, the courtroom and cells are still there. It would be nice to open these for public viewing on Heritage Open Days. The food is nice, the service is quick, and there's plenty of room. They have some great vegetarian options. I would recommend eating here. It's sometimes tricky to find a parking space, perhaps create more spaces by removing the bushes at the corner? This would help to alleviate the issue.

This court house pub is unreal. On your way to the toilets, there's a door that is normally locked. But sometimes it's not, and that is the real history of what this place used to be back in the day. Try your look and find out for yourself..

Really like this genuine pub. A few times I have walked up the canal from Birmingham just to visit it. I love the displays of local history around the walls. Well done Wetherspoons.

The usual wetherspoons experience, this was however just after the lunch rush. The waiter did manage to get around and wipe and clear the tables which is always a bonus, the service at the bar and for food was also prompt. Great effort from the guys on duty.

Hadn't been for a meal here for at least a year has it became very shabby and food wasn't brilliant so I decided to give it another go to my disappointment it hadn't changed if anything it was worse the staff are rushed of their feet food was just warm tables sticky is it down to management 🤷🏻‍♀️

Worst steak I have ever been served. A third of it was inedible grissel, chips where just warm. No one came and asked how my food was, very poor service and terrible food.

It's absolutely love this pub. I remember I went there after I met the Mayor and I celebrated the achievements of what we did last year. I had a dinner there and it's really dark that night.

Great pub, lots of nooks to sit in, plus outdoor seating. Lovely staff, great ales and good food. Would not recommend for families as it was all adults when we went.

some of the waiting staff were really rude just plonked the cutlery on the table without a word very nasty

Good choice of drinks ,as you would expect from a Witherspoon pub , ordered food and drinks at the bar ,food arrived after a couple of minutes ,was hot fresh and good .

Good place to relax in. Decorated nicely. Food is good and reasonably priced. The service is very quick compared to other places.

Spent a few pounds only 💷 and got fined £70 for parking in their own car park. Won't be coming back.

I ordered shots and I was waiting a long time and my breakfast was at the table which I didn't know about. The bar man took time making g my shots while the food was getting g cold. He never said he would bring it over and my food went cold. The shots wasn't at its right measurements either. The management came over and never apologise of the wait and she was very rude and didn't compromise. Management was very unapproachable and didn't want to know our views.

Lovely listed building -nice staff … but please can someone clean !!! The lamps / lamp shades are filthy. There is dust on the chair frames. The carpet / upholstery needs hoovering, tables need wiping - so didn’t order food although many others did

I popped here for a bite to eat after shopping. I ordered the herd chicken with potato and peas ,but when it came out, it did now look very appealing. The colour was greenish has though it had gone off. But after removing the skin, the meat was fine ,but I would not order it again because you eat with your eyes, and It put me off my meal .

Lovely pub, full of character like so many of Wetherspoons buildings. This just had that extra something as the staff are excellent. We travel here from Stourbridge for breakfast on the way to football. It gets busy, but the staff are always on top of everything. Tables are always cleared as soon as they are vacated. Food service is prompt, and food has always been top-notch. Coffee machine is always topped up, not like some other spoons I could mention. Still quite busy since the pub next door had become the so called "Cheapest in Britain"

Great experience as always, been to many other Wetherspoons but this one always exceeds in quality and service. Special mention to Chloe who always looks after us with exceptional customer service and a such a friendly personality, always making us feel so welcome, she’s a star!

Food and drink reasonably priced, as a result this is our regular pub. Staff and management are really friendly and make you feel welcome.

Lovely place, staff are great and no matter how busy this place gets you never had to wait too long to get served. Great drinks and food choices too!! Never too much trouble either of you need help, high chairs, baby change access etc

This venue is like a tardis. It had plenty of seating, great service and staff. Free onside parking once registered on the console. Great experience

Your average everyday pub. Cheap and cheerful

First time visiting this weatherspoons . We will definitely be visiting again. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially Jay who was serving our table. Jay was friendly and helpful. We placed our order and the food arrived at the table very quickly and was hot and presented nicely. We will definitely be visiting again.

Staff are friendly and very efficient. The food was just ok.

Bar staff extremely efficient and friendly simply could not fault. We ordered breakfasts small and normal and scrambled egg on toast dissapointed with breakfast eggs dry rubbery and tasteless bacon overcooked baked beans cold. No buyter offered for toast, not once did staff check if we were happy with our meals.To add to dissapointment no benedict sauce available so no mushroom benedict. Will be a long time before we visit here for breakfast again one plus side hot drinks are free top ups

Lovely pub that you can actually talk in. No music just full of people catching up with friends. Excellent food, quick with good service and clear up.. Bar staff very efficient and professional. Good selection of ales. Keen prices.worth a visit.

As always happy to serve you as a few have said the staff can be hit and miss lol I think the customers can be more miss than hit be polite please thank you strange but it works try it.and don't forget to register your car if you park on the car park around the back

Can't fault this place, if you want to sit and eat, drink, and chat, even if it's getting loud around the bar you can go in one of the quieter back rooms, fantastic selection of ales with prompt efficient service. Food is good too.

What you'd expect from a weatherspoons pub, food and drinks cheap served quickly and nice atmosphere here.

We had a family of Eight people go to lunch on Boxing Day, only to find they had no fish, so we asked for Pizza they said they had no pizza. I ordered Lasagna , only to find it was still stone cold inside. The waitress then said she would get another one and offered me a free drink. By the time my meal came back, everyone in our party had finished theirs. I was appalled to find that it was then over done and rock hard on the outside , which I could not eat. I never said anything, as I was fed up by then and wanted to go It ruined our Boxing Day lunch.

Asked for large breakfast was disappointing was more like a small one was not worth the price 😤

One of the nicest Wetherspoon's we have visited. The location is superb and the restaurant itself is huge. Lots of seating available even on a Friday evening. The food was fresh and delicious. If you fancy a dessert, I highly recommend the cookie dough sandwich.

Had excellent eggs benidict with 🍅. Free refills on coffee. Good selection of real ales. Highly Recommended.

Went for Christmas meal with work colleagues had a throughly lovely evening. The Christmas Dinner was very nice indeed with all of us enjoying it. The staff are great and atmosphere is friendly. Altogether a throughly good evening. Highly recommended 👌 👍

Visited with a friend for lunch. Both meals were ok apart from the gourmet steak very fatty and unable to cut through part of it. However, my friends meal was removed from the table before she had finished eating it. There was no courtesy to ask if she had finished with her meal. It was presumed she had finished as I were. Manager very unprofessional and unwilling to engage to resolve problem. Will not be returning which is a shame as I started to visit regular.

Didn't have any food, so i can't really leave a review on that side, ordered a few drinks whilst away for work. Lovely art work round the place. Some cool sculptures too. Speedy table service. Nice atmosphere for a couple with friends.

Food was good, group of 10 of us and the food came out fast. Nice and cheap, would go again if I'm in the area.

Me and my wife have been here twice for breakfast now, and, although my coffee has been cold on both occasions, the breakfast itself along with the service from the staff was outstanding!!! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone..

Smart Spoons with (usually) good cask beer

Great selection of drinks and food at reasonable prices. Atmosphere is good with a good mixture of customers. Limited on~site free parking (dont forget to enter the. Number at the bar) , but there is a car park opposite (charges apply). Overall recommended.
