The quality of the food is at a high level, the service is very polite, the prices of the meals are absolutely right. I highly recommend it. There is nowhere such tasty food as in Polonia!!!

Lovely Meal. Restaurant a bit awkward to find, but one in greeted with a friendly welcome. Had the pork sirloin, pierogi & potato pancake with Hungarian stew, all delicious especially the pancake! Remember to bring cash, as no card facilities. Definitely recommend! Visited again in 2024, just as amazing!

I ordered pork shank, I waited an hour and it was so cold, I ordered mango juice to drink, they served it, the cheapest juice in the market, overall it's a disaster I don't recommend it 🤮🤮🤮

Delicious food, friendly service and big portions. The kitchen closes at 7pm instead of 8pm as advertised on Google, so we were the last ones to be served. Nevertheless we still received a welcoming service. The area is not the nicest to sit outside but the food makes up for it.

On Saturday, at 6 p.m., we had communion, dinner party for 19 people, very nice service, fast ordering time, the orders were devolaje, pork chops, chicken breasts, potatoes, fries, salads, tomato broth, and of course a cake. VERY DELICIOUS FOOD. I RECOMMEND 9/10. I RECOMMEND IT FOR PARTIES AND FAMILY MEETINGS. ONE NOTE WOULD BE TO THINK ABOUT SOME TIME FOR THE CHILDREN SO THAT THEY CAN DO SOMETHING TO KEEP UP.

The food was good. Pork shank very joucy and well cooked. They have good chefs in the kitchen for sure, but.. Service needs improving. I would say I put two stars for tomato soup in a chipped table ware. this wasn't pleasant at all to eat from that. The waiter needs to use a tray instead of carrying your drinks in hands and touching nearly where your lips gonna be in a moment. Dish was so big, so I asked to take leftovers and were provided dirty containers for that. I would say they need to do more work on the interior. Under this, I mean at least to replace broken TV, fix the clocks on the wall, so they show actual time and I had a feeling that we were in the office due to ceiling style. We booked the table on the 8th of March and it was Friday evening, and barely one-third of tables were ocupied. Two of three polish beers from their menu were out of stock, but they opened doors an hour ago on Friday. Good kitchen with many things still to improve. My honest opinion. Sorry

I'm really happy to have such a restaurant near where I live. The food in this restaurant is delicious. Large portions, just like at home, well-seasoned, with wonderful and funny staff. I gave four stars only for the atmosphere because sometimes it's so cold inside the restaurant that you can't take off your jacket, although the last time I was there it was OK. Best regards.

Closing times where different from on Google's and we went in 2 hours before she told us the real closing time and refused to get us certain foods The food was ok and the place was quiet but won't be going again

We ordered Silesian roulade with dumplings and goulash soup. The roulade was tasty but a bit hard, while the soup was so overly spicy that it was completely impossible to eat it.

Silesian roulade - a little bit of sauce, but overall great The lady serving is very nice, the interior is very subdued but pleasant Unfortunately... Seba showed up with his wife, dressed in the same tracksuits, Seba was constantly on the phone and they were talking crap and bangs, which spoiled the atmosphere, personally, if I were at the service desk, I would have brought them to their attention... To sum up, I will definitely visit this restaurant again when I am in Birmingham

Starter never turned up then offered to bring it after main course

In general, the place is ok. However, from my point of view, as a disabled person, there is no toilet for disabled people and a baby change room. The service deserves 5 stars. The same applies to the quality and taste of food. Unfortunately, I had to lower the overall rating for the above-mentioned reasons.

The Kyiv cutlets they took were undercooked; there are few salads on the menu; there are no shrimp salads; the prices are high.

Service was perfect, only one young lady serving but she was faultless, beef stroganoff was brilliant, and plenty of it, meat was tender and sauce was tasty. Had poched pear in choc sauce and then was so nice. Not many in so 4 for atmosphere, but table was set out on spotless tablecloth and the whole room was very clean. Would return.

We had booked tabel for family. That day was supposed to be a special day because my daughter invited Daddy for Father's Day dinner. We ordered starters, which wast very tasty soups. However, after that, I asked if we could order the main courses, and the answer was dismissive. We waited for about 20 minutes, and we felt completely ignored. I understand it was a really busy day, but no one apologized for waiting. There was completely no service. I could even understand if staff said sorry, but we can't serve you because the table was booked for another guest, or we have a time limit. Instead, it looked like the staff was waiting for us to vacate a table. It was a very disappointing experience, especially since we came from far away.

If you want to eat tasty food in Birmingham, go to the Polonia restaurant.

The restaurant was pretty basic on the inside in terms of decor. The food tasted nice, but unfortunately half way through my meal I discovered that the chicken in my salad was undercooked/raw. The waitress that served us was also very passive aggressive in her approach and ignored us several times. We also found that we waited so long for a side salad to someone's meal that we just cancelled the salad because it took far too long.

Wouldn’t recommend, wouldn’t even give 1 star. Food horrible & rats running round outside and who wants to go somewhere where the manager has a bad attitude

We visited the restaurant because our usual favourite ‘The Karczma’ in town has closed down. The food was very lovely and portions were decent! The waitress was very kind and overall the experience was positive. Giving 4/5 stars though because the atmosphere and the decor could be better!

No card payments, tomato powder. The Hungarian cake saved the situation.

Be careful how they charge you, especially at larger events. Since the restaurant does not accept card payments, I asked about prices twice to prepare enough cash. Both during the telephone conversation and in person at the restaurant, I was informed that the prices were based on the menu available online. Unfortunately, it had nothing to do with what was on the receipt. So I went to the restaurant to explain and it turned out that 3 days after my reservation they introduced a new menu with new prices! My bill therefore consisted of a mix of before and after prices. The prices for drinks were also different, and the lady explained that, for example, gin and tonic should be charged separately. Dishes also seemed to shrink with the increase. The additional service for the cake (£15) was limited to placing plates and spoons (without a cutting knife), while recently, on the occasion of another event, the waitress was able to light candles, bring the cake to the table and cut it. We often chose Polonia for family dinners and larger events, but unfortunately it's probably time for a change.

I came here in late 2021 and it was great. Things have changed since. The restaurants appearance and inside is standard and staff unfriendly and mean. Alright food. It started off well but ended of as a bad experience. I highly do not recommend this restaurant to others.

It's so delicious there that you have to overpay, overpay, it's simply "debeściarsko". I pay like a president for a table there.

One thing I know is that I won't go back there!! Confused service, wrong orders (we were a larger group). Waiting time from 30 min. up to 1.5 hours per dish. The reservation was made in advance, and after placing the order, some of the staff went shopping. When ordering a steak, there is no question about the degree of doneness. Steak with the taste and consistency of liver. It is not possible to pay by card, and bills are written by hand on a piece of paper. There is no stamp or anything that could authenticate this piece of "card" that it comes from this place. London prices. I do not recommend!!!!

We was visiting this restaurant with friends. Each of us can say exactly the same . So we tried to order food but waitress had a big problem to do it, she was doing faces, as you could say she wasn't happy at all that she is at work. We was a big group so I could understand her confusion, but attitude was absolutely disgusting. We was waiting for food that long as we thought they went to shop buy products. Food was served on wrong order, starters was served after main dishes, was so many wrong things as I don't want loose to much energy for this experience. On the end after when we all had food waitress came to us ask if all food been delivered she realised 2 of main's wasn't cooked. Then her attitude was even worst. Only one person who was nice. The other waitress (a bit older ) was polite even if she been annoyed she done good job. So food was good, service was so so bad. Waiting time for food long, not to even say very long... I would not recommend.

Beautiful, tasty food - very big portions too. The service is always very good, quick and polite. The atmosphere could be better, the restaurant feels very cold, the decor is somehow outdated.

Food was very good and so was the service. However, whilst we were already eating, few people have arrived that, due to their awful behaviour, made the whole experience not really enjoyable. These guys went straight for vodka shots, were loud and generally behaved such that everybody else felt quite uncomfortable. Also, they didn't actually order anything to eat, simply vodka shots and beer. Nicknames such as: Gargamel, Rzeźnik and Koks should speak for themselves. It's worth adding that they've arrived by car and, despite being drunk, were clearly intending to depart by car, too. We've promptly paid and left. I'd suggest that owners carefully rethink and revisit their targeted group of visitors. Perhaps it would help if vodka shots were not on the menu!

First time back here since the lockdown. The restaurant was quiet but we were made to feel very welcome. Polish food is an unusual excursion for us but we all enjoyed what we had (party of 4). I had the cold herring starter, which is perfect for my taste, followed by a delicious duck main. Portion size was just right in our view. The wine list is very limited but the wine we had was fine. It is a pity this place is not better known as the atmosphere would have been better had it been a little busier.

Some time ago we were regular customers, but after our last visit we probably won't be there again. We went with friends for dinner. Each dish is served a few to a dozen or so minutes apart. (One finished and the other got the plate🤯) The menu was limited to a minimum, i.e. everything was missing (even fries 😵‍💫) The soup was cold, the Swiss was fatty, the pork chop was dry, the fish was undercooked, the bigos called "fried cabbage" was overcooked, the hot beetroot was just a big mess, because there weren't even any salads. Overall, it's bad. I don't know if they don't understand how there is more than one table or if it's just bad. Anyway, as of today I don't recommend it.

Having worked in Poland many times and eaten in the restaurants and friends homes I can confirm as a Englishman this is lovely authentic Polish food. Big portions that won’t leave you hungry, tasty delicious grub, clean establishment, staff nice and pleasant. If you like Polska food, you’ll love this place.
