What a fantastic place. A chilled, fun vibe, with music, food and drinks. I went for a birthday bash, so the hosts had reserved the "shed" in which I sat for a while. I had to wait for a space in the outside seating to open up, but as soon as it did, I was there- hoping to catch some of the evening sun. I ordered food from the outdoor chef, which was a cool idea. It was a burger chef that night, who produced some delicious burgers. However, the fries were terrible - overcooked and hard - which I assumed was down to the fact he was overwhelmed by the amount of orders he was receiving. There's an outdoor TV, and a range of seating options. The outdoor lights added to the ambience as the sun went down.. It was a perfect place to go with friends, especially when the sun is shining, and I would highly recommend it to others.

Way too expensive- over £6 for Guinness ! Also see friction now since another muslim coffee shop opened next door and one or two of their clients like to come into the pub to disrespect. Highly provocative. No atmosphere in the yard now horribly tarmaced- it used to be brilliant place, one of the very best pubs in the Midlands. I suppose the writing was on the wall when that accomodation tower next door was allowed to be built and Keith left.

Buttermilk chicken coating on the day was burnt to toast, Ive been tasting diesel for an hour now. Shame as the cook seems to construct the burgers and fries with care but this is a basic taste test to know something is off with the coating, Two others on our table had the same conclusion and cant imagine others were happy. Would suggest using a meat thermometer if unsure of temperature by looks alone 🤷🏽‍♂️.

Nicely decorated and that's about it. The beer selection isn't the best, but it is one of the most expensive. Almost £6 for a Guinness... Small bar, small cosy room, outside is spacious and modern but why they have gone for fires at certain tables rather than outdoor heaters at all of them is beyond me. Your clothes end up stinking of smoke and you're lucky if you get a table with a fire. Meaning in the winter you're sat freezing. Clearly hasn't been thought through very well

It's cosy, especially in winter when they have real fires lit in the front and back rooms. The staff are great, service is quick and there's a nice atmosphere to it. I'd give it more stars if the Guinness was decent, but it's pretty awful. Thought there would have been enough pulled through on a Friday evening, but it poured badly and was ice-cold. This isn't new, it was bad when Keith was in charge too, just a shame it hasn't changed. Cask beer (Landlord) was apparently well kept, and the other pale ales looked clean, if you like that sort of drink

Had come here with a group of around 20 friends last night. All taking cash out if machines in preparation on the way as it was raining and didn't want to shoot out to grab cash should it be required, as almost all pubs do. To our surprise we went in and were told they were only accepting the EXACT change or card and would refuse cash where they needed to get change. As the night went on, it was clear after taking the correct change that they had change should people want to pay cash. They ended up refusing all cash and would only accept card. Cash is legal tender and some people have to, or prefer to still use it due to a number of needs or circumstances. To discriminate against those who wanted to pay cash was abhorrent, especially when the drinks and cocktails weren't up to scratch at all. We did move on to another place but would have probably stayed longer, purchased more goods etc should cash have been accepted. It would be a great idea for the Prince of Wales to become more customer focussed as opposed to relying on the reputation of being based in Moseley, where, by the way, there are much better pubs and bars that accept cash

5 Stars – A Hidden Gem Worth Discovering! My partner and I were out for a casual walk when hunger struck, and we happened to stumble upon this place. We decided to give it a try — and we’re so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. The prices were surprisingly affordable, and the service was warm and welcoming. It’s rare to find a spot that hits all the right notes, but this one truly did.
