Lovely to sit, relax and enjoy a meal here. The views looking onto fields of open space are lovely, especially if your normal is a lot of brick/concrete.
The food options varied from breakfast, brunch and main meals like a traditional plated up roast.
All was served with attentively and looked appealing to eat. Especially liked the edible flowers. Colour does wonders. Portions were good and prices reasonable.
The building is spacious. Not crowded at all. Imagine they’re able to cater for large groups. Perhaps will inquire as plenty of free parking outside as well.
Visited for the first time today, but was disappointed. The food itself was very nice, homemade cake and good value for an afternoon tea. However, the decor was shabby, customer service wasn’t great, we were served a pot of tea and milk and had to wait a good 10 minutes for tea cups, which we eventually had to ask for. Additionally, while we understand that dogs are allowed into coffee shops and tea rooms, we felt that the proximity of the tables were too close to allow for this when food is being served. We were seated next to a bigger party who had a dog, who did not settles, shook himself right next to the food, and proceeded to watch my mum while she ate. While this is not the tea room’s fault, we felt they could have been seated somewhere else or that seats could have been spaced better to allow for this. But it was very off putting. Overall a disappointing visit and we won’t be returning.
Great shop and service. Maybe play soft music and dim the lights a little. I have not long been out of a Secure Mental Health Unit and this place got me very emotional and extremely excited. So happy the good Lord guided me to this place.
My husband and I booked this restaurant as it was one of the few restaurants with availability as it was valentine’s night. The reviews on TripAdvisor seemed positive enough but I was very very disappointed when presented with a steak that was not properly cooked - it was actually raw in the middle . I know I had asked for medium rare but there is a difference between medium rare and actually raw. It was tough and chewy and u asked for it to be redone. The steak was still tough and I struggled to not only cut it but also chewing it. The staff eventually offered me a steak knife , which should have been served with my steak to begin with, but I still struggled to cut through the meat as it was tough as boots. I think the steak was recooked in a microwave which toughened it or perhaps it was just poor quality steak . I gave up eating it and left most of it. The staff not only seemed unapologetic but refused to accept that it was tough and would not take it off the bill but after some argument took off the supplementary charge . It will be the last time we visit this eatery again for sure.

Wow, what a fantastic pub! One of the best I've been to recently. Owner and bar staff were so friendly and welcoming, and there was an amazing choice of beers for a micro pub. Can't wait to visit again!
My friends and i went for lunch today and all had cheese toasties the bread was the worst for toast they were all rock hard so couldnt eat much of it so wouldn't go back again
This restaurant has got us addicted to their delicious, fresh and wonderful tasting food as well as the friendliness and superb service.
We’d eat there 5 times a week if we could!
Such an abundance of beautifully presented food at a very reasonable price. One of our favourites.
