Great beer, Tasty tapas and good live music ( bank holiday weekend) good traditional pub

Sympathetically updated old fashioned pub. Decent range of beers, ciders, etc. Snacks are available, but a bit pricey. They do have themed nights, whiskey tasting, cheese tasting for example and the occasional live music. Worth a visit.

Not been to the bar for 20years it has changed so much but a great busy atmosphere.

An Amblecote institution, those pub was refurbished recently. It stocks a wide range of changing cask beers, plus guest beers on keg. All of the beers we drank were in great condition.

Great boozer. Nice selection of beers, pub snacks are really really good.. highly recommend the pork pie and mustard and cobs..but they also do loads of other bits. Nice inside and fab outdoor spaces too. Highly recommend the beer garden on a nice sunny day 👍😁

Went for a Wednesday cheese and wine night. £17.50 for the wine we ordered and a free cheese and cracker board. Used all our crackers so paid for extra. Nice atmosphere. All tables full so worth booking if you can.

Lovely old style pub, with good beers and. Friendly staff and nice cosy atmosphere.

Very rude manager, went in with the kids at 7 was told in a very unfriendly manner that the kids would have to be out by 8. Then hounded by the lounge staff to get out by 8. Also challenge whether a cider we bought was for my 16 year old despite being for one of the adults who had sat down. Live locally to the swan and went their frequently before refurb. Never experienced such rudeness then or anywhere else.

Great traditional black country pub with free live music.

First visit to The Swan after nearly forty years due to moving out of the area. Definitely not disappointed. The young lady serving was really friendly and welcoming. A warm cosy pub and the drinks were reasonably priced. Will be our local from now on and looking forward to our next visit.. Would highly recommend.

We've called at the Swan because there were no tables available at the Red Lion...what a lovely couple of hours we have had ..Santa came to visit & what a lovely Santa he was🎅 ..the kids have adored him..its made our Christmas.🌲🎁.Well done to all concerned ..👏👏

Proper old style boozer-real open fire + good ales😋 not overly priced + discounted ales on the day of visit (Thursday afternoon). Really good staff. Live music-open mic type was unexpected+ brilliant. Will def be back. Really clean toilets (ladies).

First visit, great pub, fantastic beer garden too!

After having three pints of golden glow i was appreciative of the toilet facilities as it went right through me, not a nice experience. Me,my wife and friends, who we had not seen in a while thought of ordering food. However, the sight of a small dog on one of the tables put us off.

Really friendly pub with a good selection of real ales.

Went here yesterday and was DECLINED entry/being served i can completely understand if drunken and dissordly however this was completely not the case. Due to “ more than 10 of us in a group” was the reason 12 other pubs happily served us yesterday so to be refused for no good reason is just unprofessional from staff/management Women serving said we are part of pub watch- what is this supposed to mean?!? Manager from red lion had phoned up to tell them we had been there and not to serve us for some reason Only out to have a good time & a laugh Very boring atmosphere and dated Clearly didn't want the £ more interested in serving locals Would definitely NOT. recommend!

Went here Friday night only two serving area's of the bar . staff seem Moor interested in serving there mates and regulars than other people. left and went to the starving raskle much bigger place.

Lovely atmostphere. We had a superb bottle of Merlot..The Cheese & Crackers sublime. 4 great Cheeses, Olives/Silverskin Onions, Onion Chutney, Mini pickles too. Yum

Well what can I say Aimee is just amazing she has made us feel so welcome and totally welcomed our 15 month old granddaughter Ada she went out of her way to make us feel so welcome she was always so lovely at the red lion but she is running a super nice laid back family friendly dog friendly nice place to go for a relaxed and friendly drink. In these times when pub's are closing It's refreshing to to go into a refurbished pub that seems to have got it right. Nice atmosphere and a lovely beer garden/staff 😀

It is a wonderful pub to go to, plenty of options for drinks to suit all people, dog friendly and one of the most beautiful gardens I have seen, great place for large gatherings and even great for a quiet relaxing time, highly recommend The Swan

Always find The Swan to be a well presented pub with a great selection of drinks and top quality service. Attractive beer garden in summer and log fire in cooler months. Parking out front or a short walk from car parks at back of Brettell Lane.

Lovely comfy pub. Staff friendly and smiley ☺️. Decent beer, wine and fab gin selection. Jugs of Pimms, fruit and ice also served. Beer garden is beautiful and very spacious, don't be fooled into thinking only the grass area belongs to the pub the gravel area and undercover areas also do. They are just a pub so don't serve food, you can nip down to their sister pub The Red Lion at the bottom of Brettell Lane on the right of leaving The Swan for grub though which is fabulous too! I have been in The a Swan though and seen cobs on the bar but didn't see any last night. The pub has been there many years so there's the usual large concrete step to access the pub, I don't recall seeing a disabled entrance but I'm sure if you ask they will have something in place. Children welcome until 9pm. Well behaved dogs welcome too, inside and out. Parking is in the street outside, with houses either side this is limited but as long as you don't mind a short walk you can park further down Brettell Lane and walk up to the pub. Give it a try you won't be disappointed!

Lovely pub with a nice selection of drinks on draught. Went for tea one of the evenings in the week, it was fairly quiet but I am aware it's very popular at the weekend. They don't do proper meals but we had some cobs and pork pies, all very nice. Great place to visit.

First visit last night, very pleasant roomy surroundings, plenty of seating, dogs and families seem to be welcome, assorted bears, largers, spirits and soft drinks. Friendly staff. On road parking only. Will definitely go back.

Pub has been done out lovely with comfortable seating, two open fires and when the weather picks up, what could be a real nice outdoor setting. Have been in twice and found the staff friendly. It's dog friendly too, always a bonus.

If you like the red lion at the bottom then you'll have to like this place aswell beautifully done out, lovely staff and the only thing that's a negative compared to the red lion down the bottom is the fact that there is no cooked food really so that's it but the outside area is nice partially sheltered, heated and done to a high standard

Very nice pub good beers I would go in more often but my partner likes drinking carling unfortunately they serve a beer called madri which she is not keen on but still another decent pub never the less

Looks good but every week there's a problem with the beer, fires are lit when we are leaving . Young staff have no idea. It's a no from me
