First visit... fabulous Mother's day sunday lunch at the Crown in Pattingham - visited as a family of four. Accomodating for kids portions too. Great quality, well worth the money.
Very friendly place as we were walk ins for food, I had never been here before. The food was second to non absolutely superb. Menu had plenty of choice and has a roast on everyday of the week
There were 7 of us for dinner. and the Red Lion looked after us very well. Good Hook Norton beers. I enjoyed my Chicken and Mushroom pie, served with tenderstem broccoli.
Good atmosphere.
Reservations essential.
Mastercard cards accepted.
We have been here a few times but unfortunately this will be the last. Arrived for breakfast and cafe was empty, not busy as we remembered. The waitress was not happy and just going through the motions. The table, floor and other things were dirty. Well we ordered from a strange menu and did not wait too long. The soggy watery eggs were hard and crispy underneath, curled up very burnt bacon, one piece of toast yukky brown sauce and a pot of tea that was hardly tasty. Oh dear, so disappointing. We love Tenbury Wells and had a good day afterwards, shame the cafe could not match it.
Fantastic Sunday Lunch! Amazing food and really relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely do this again. Great to know there’s an option for takeout Sunday roast too 🙌
Searched for a local pub as was in the area and The Mason Arms was recommended. had an early lunch which was well presented piping hot and excellent value. i had the home made soup and my wife had pate for starters and we both had the home
made minted lamb pie chips with a jug of gravy each. one of the best pies i have had in a long time. thoroughly recommended and we will be back
