It was extremely busy with no tables available, but that is a good sign. Didn't have to wait too long and was worth the wait. Plenty of choice, both savoury and sweet, a lot of it home made. Friendly service and we were allowed to bring our dog in. Highly recommended.

We visit many tearooms during our various holidays, but what can I say this was our ultimate best. My husband ordered an Earl Grey and myself a hazelnut latte it was the best coffee I had ever had tasted as it was meant too be. Also we ordered two scones, jam and clotted cream a treat as we were on holiday. Again the best scones we have ever had. If your in the area pay this lovely lady a visit you won't be disappointed.

Lovely arty tea room with great framing service & advice. I visit often on Saturdays for poached egg on toast… the best around & very reasonably priced. Cappuccino comes in 2 sizes for those wanting a larger cup. Attention to detail on request is never a problem as I prefer to butter my toast once cooled, so served to one side. Good variety of toasted sandwiches at lunch time. My daughter loves the scones & tea cakes. Friendly staff & dog friendly for those bringing their pooch - I’ve seen treats given to dogs!

This is a really lovely tea room in the centre of Tenbury Wells. We were there for the Mistletoe Festival and needed some lunch. We were 3 vegetarians and a vegan so not always easy to find somewhere to eat. But the staff were very good about finding out that there was butter in the soup before we ordered and my friend enjoyed her vegan chilli and baked potato. The mushroom and broccoli quiche was delicious and came with a wonderful salad and the soups were hot and tasty and came with a good chunk of bread. Their coffees were so good that we went back later for coffee and cake. No vegan cake unfortunately. There were lots of good paintings on the walls for sale to enjoy and a lovely selection of greeting cards so you could still take a little something home with you. Despite being very busy the staff were all kind, helpful and friendly, and remembered us when we returned. Next time I'm in Tenbury I'll definitely go again

I got to Tenbury early ( visiting the hospital). I walked in off the wet street, looked at the menu board, was stared at like I was a stranger ( I was) and not one smile, no one asked what can I do for you, nothing. So I left and found somewhere that actually acknowledged me . Very sad to say . When local businesses need support

My wife and I stopped off in Tenbury Wells en-route to Worcester on a week day afternoon. We walked the length of the Main Street deciding which coffee shop to try. We were not disappointed. The bacon brie & cranberry toastiest were fabulous on granary bread & it was pleasing to have decaf coffee on the menu too (most places don’t). Service was polite, tables were clean and other customers were complimenting the lady who was serving about their food choices also. Would definitely visit again.

We visited the Spotty dog on a rather cloudy day and were looking forward to warming up with a nice piece of cake. The woman serving looked so miserable and didn't manage a single smile the whole time we were there! She didn't greet us when we walked in and gave no eye contact at all. We felt very uncomfortable so drank our tea quickly and left as she was clearly wanting to shut up for the evening! Nice cake though.

Authentic and honest-to-goodness. If you want smartypants stuff go across the road. It's not a trendy place but a pleasant blend of gallery, tea-room and coffee-stop. The lady at the next table had coffee and nice thick toast; I had a lemon drizzle cake that was light, moist, tasty and as good as you could possibly want. The coffee was ok; the whole experience was very satisfying. A nice place to stop in a lovely country town, after you've watched the ducks being fed on the river.

Had a breakfast sandwich here today. Bread was great, sausages were wow but too many for one person. Only observation was too much ketchup. The sandwich was literally swimming in the stuff which, had I not just moved here, would have stopped me from popping in again. However, the biggest turn off was the quality of coffee. Given Tenbury Wells has an abundance of coffee shops you would think one of them would actually provide a decent coffee bean to its customers. Surely if you open a cafe the No1 priority is having outstanding coffee. There are folk who go to cafes simply for the coffee. Get that right and you get a customer for life. Get it wrong and your customers goes next door to the next cafe. As with wine, the difference between good and bad coffee is a few pence so there can be no excuses. Other opinions are available 😀 ps I will try the Spotty Dog again but not for its very poor coffee.

We were in the local area away for the weekend with our little dog and needed to find somewhere for breakfast. I messaged via FB yesterday as I wasn’t sure if they were dog friendly, they messaged back very quickly despite being closed at the time to say they were. We had breakfast there this morning. Everything was cooked well (especially the bacon which most places it isn’t) the cup of tea was great too. I had the full breakfast with extra sausage (for the dog) extra hash brown (for the wife) and black pudding. All in all a fantastic breakfast at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be visiting here again if we are ever in the area. Thanks for a fab breakfast.

We were staying in Upton and visited the Old Anchor pub, where we enjoyed puddings that had been made at this establishment. On leaving the pub we decided to find the shop in order to buy puddings to take home. Delicious homemade steamed puddings are available to buy from the shop or online. The puddings are all made on site using traditional methods and are big enough for 2 people to share. Currently they are £3.60 each or three for £10. We bought 3 of course and our only difficulty was choosing from the huge range available. They freeze well so no need to eat them all at once!
