Beautiful place for a breakfast, food was served promptly and was lovely. Staff were friendly and polite.Prices were excellent. Nothing not to like about it.

The staff are amazing and very caring. They explained they couldn't cater for my dietary requirements but they were more than happy for me to sit and eat my own food with my family eating food ordered from here. My brother loved his bacon butty. He thought it was amazing. My mum and nan really loved the cheesy chips, they said that they tasted amazing. The coffee is so nice and the atmosphere is amazing, quiet and soothing. Definitely worth 5 stars

By far and away the best breakfast and best burger in Tenbury (and surrounds). I've also had the fish and chips which was lovely. Tucked away and a tad awkward for maneuvering but plenty of car parking and such a clean kitchen and such friendly service. Prices are reasonable and the food and volume is extremely good value for money. To counter another reviewers gripe, no it's not the Ritz, I suspect the food is better quality and better value here. Love it.

Great staff, great location still dead canny

In Tenbury Wells for a couple of days work, just found this place and had one of the best BLT baguettes I've ever had, perfectly cooked and with a side salad and slaw. Gutted that I won't be able to return tomorrow, as my workers have finished a day early, but I'll be back if I'm passing through.

The prices for the food were unbelievable. Priced up like we are in the Ritz, London when really we are just in Tenbury. Feel like I’ve been violently violated. Foods bang average at best.

I have had the pleasure of visiting the Riverside cafe,with a group of fellow Bikers, and I was very impressed. The breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked and delicious. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended

We stopped here for an early lunch today. We ordered a prawn baguette, fish finger baguette and a side of cheesy chips, with a latte each. The food was absolutely smashing with huge portions! We enjoyed our food over looking the river. Will definitely come back!

Tucked away by the bridge, great place to stop on the bike, good food , sat outside overlooking the Teme, good prices, people who work there really welcoming.

One of my favourite places. Lovely little stop of. Well worth a trip on its own. Great staff and the food is excellent sat right next to the river it is beautiful weather permitting to sit out. But all the same nice little freindly cafe to sit in and enjoy.

I come to tenbury a lot. And have given a review before. But I'm putting another one so people can see its not a one off. The people are lovely the food is wonderful and the prices are spot on. Its Mt fav place to eat in tenbury. Right by the river too

Been here 3 or 4 times recently as the food is great and the options are too. They do a really good vegetarian breakfast and a great normal breakfast traditional English fry up. I'm fussy about where I eat so can assure you the food here is lovely. Traditional cafe does what it says on the tin no frills. Tried another this week up high street.that did have frills called Tom's but they weren't serving breakfast they said even tho there was a sign outside saying they werr and staff were young uninterested girls. Went back here.

Signposted cafe which when located was to rear of a pub in their car park close to the river. Looked closed as we approached but timings said open so I pushed the door and voila - open Ordered 2 full English and nicely cooked breakfast presented alongside 2 coffees (paid small extra for upgrade and worth it) good ingredients. Only downside if their can be one is toast was was bread with butter but otherwise a great place to eat

Uncle and I dropped in for breakfast. The food was cooked to perfection!!! Going back Saturday as the highlight of the holiday!!!!!

the breakfast was really good £6 for bacon sausage egg beans mushrooms two hash browns toast and and a cuppa. was tasty hot not burnt or any grease would defiantly come back for breakfast again. top marks

Stopped and had a real well presented breakfast. Very nice, everything cooked to perfection, with a mug of tea to wash it down, sat outside on provided picnic benches, although plenty of seating inside, sat with an elevated view of the flowing river beneath. We will definitely go there again.

Poor service. I felt this place was not very clean. Man preparing food had the filthiest of tea towels he kept throwing on to his shoulder and even used it to wipe services he proceeded to prepare food on! Another man was handling cooked food and rearranging on plates, not using food tongs. Really put me off. We had egg and sausage sandwiches which were well cooked and hot and tasted nice. Just the hygiene in show which was off putting.

Great food, top stop especially if you're on the bike!

Took a 9am walk along the high street. Sadly most places were closed. However this turned to a positive when we found the cafe. Friendly staff. Quick service and lovely great value breakfast.

What a lovely place in a great setting. We'd been out with friends on a cold ride so the warm welcome and good hot food was just what we wanted. I can heartily recommend the Omelettes. This was our first visit but it won't be the last.

This is a perfect little spot for a biker cafe. They cater for vegan food to witch is a massive bonus. If you are passing through or are local do not miss this hidden gem.

Lovely food in pleasant surroundings overlooking the river sitting at tables outside. Was closing mid-afternoon but didn’t feel rushed.

An excellent little cafe that manages to be a modern mix of the greasy spoon and trendy bistro, without any of the downsides. Staff are really friendly, prices are very reasonable, service is very quick and the food is very good. The fry ups looked really tempting (well cooked and very little excess fat) and my prawn baguette was well filled and came with an excellent and colourful side salad. I would definitely go again.

Lovely friendly service, served us drinks and a snack after we had travelled a long way and arrived ten mins after closing time! Much appreciated, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely visit again.

I've eaten here several times over the last few weeks, with friends and with my husband. The food is always fabulous and the setting, right next to the river, is unbeatable on a nice day. Staff are friendly and efficient - what more could you ask for. Cooked breakfast is especially recommended, but the chilli and the burgers are also very tasty.

I'm so pleased Riverside Cafe is back in business. My first return visit today, .at 30th, to this Tenbury Wells gem. My favourite haunt for breakfast or brunch when I go for a ride out on my Yamaha Fazer, as today, or in my old Triumph Spitfire car. Always a friendly welcome but, above all, the food is good. All freshly prepared, nicely cooked and well presented. The pride in cooking simple foods well and pleasing customers is evident. My favourite is the ham, cheese and mushroom omelette; superb. The home-made lasagne is excellent also; as is the homemade coleslaw. Riverside Cafe is situated on right just over the Teme bridge from the Worcester/Ludliw road side. Smart and clean inside with the option of several outdoor bench tables overlooking the river Teme. If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing a treat.

Travelling through, four of us made a random stop in Tenbury Wells. A break in the weather meant we could choose a bench by the river. We later learnt this can seriously flood and has been into the cafe… Four people, fish and chips, cheese ploughman’s, prawn sandwiches, cheese and pickle sandwiches and some sweet potato fries. Three teas and a can. All very cheerfully served for the grand total of £25. Stunning value, great lunch, my ploughman’s had 4 types of cheese and some ham, coleslaw, salad, pickles, gherkins, chutney, bread and butter! They suffered flooding, survived a pandemic and now really deserve support. Fabulous. Thank you..SJK&S

Stopped for bacon sarnies while out with friends on a car blat Lovely sitting outside by the river. Outside seating only as per current government COVID guidelines Great food. Service as quick as possible due to the popularity of the venue. Many bikers there. Clearly a meeting point for them Car park quite small but on a Sunday you could easily park on the high street Highly recommend. We will definitely eat here again on subsequent blats

What a lovely place & great service from the owner. It lies Right next to the bridge and overlooks the river. We Had a full English & Veggie breakfast. My partner was impressed with the portion size and range of veggie food - Very accommodating and reasonable prices. Bikers welcome and ample free parking. Check it out and support this local business. Highly recommended.

This has been our 3rd visit in the last fortnight. Big plus is the location-a delightful spot by the canal. Excellent coffee at a fair price, very good sèrvice even when busy, lots of SPACE for children play area AND a beautiful garden. On the 18 bus route. Parking no problems. Ideal for those who choose to cycle. Restroom facilities excellent. A real discovery!

I have my favourite haunts for a Tenbury breakfast. I was in need of an early breakfast and my favourites were closed! ‘The River Side’ is the first and earliest to open in Tenbury so I gave it a try! Breakfast was absolutely brilliant- clean, tasty, quality and just the right amount. Well priced, lovely guy serving and cooking - clean, light ambiance and I will return and definitely recommend.

Went with wife I had a breakfast and the wife had omelette. Both came quickly and were ok, Coffee was strong and tasty. Service was good and friendly. Its a nice location but it was not a nice day but on a sunny day it is right next to the river so nice to eat outside.

Found the venue and dirwctions via Google Maps. Excellent service and well prepared good quality food and hot drinks.

Spacious car park, ideal for transferring from car to wheelchair. Sat at table overlooking river, in glorious sunshine, and sat back and enjoyed our coffees. Wonderfully peaceful.

Food is typical cafe, run by very obliging guys. The food was dried up and the proportion of pasta to filling made the dishes rather dry and unappetising.

A basic sit by the river seven drinking coffee etc and a breakfast or similar and watch and hear the ducks. The guys running the cafe are very friendly and helpful so if you need a break from your journey pay them a visit, they will be glad to see you.

Stopped here for breakfast with a friend. The breakfast is really good value for money £6.50 breakfast, toast and drink. The quality however leaves a lot to be desired. The bacon was very salty, the sausage were akin to a Richmond sausage, I opted for a coffee which turned out to be instant. All in all if you a fan of a weatherspoons break you'll probably like this. I might return fo lunch one day, hopefully that is worthy of 5 stars.

Stopped off with our baby for a quick lunch while travelling through the area. Our expectations were not high as this appeared to be one of the only places in the area open for a late lunch. We were very pleasantly surprised. The outdoor area was simple but overlooking the pretty river, the management were welcoming and showed a genuine interest in their customers. We ordered a jacket potato with beans and cheese and a lasagne both of which were good value, tasty and nicely presented. After having modest expectations we were very pleasantly surprised and would definitely stop by again to refresh when in the area.

Regularly use this cafe situated near to Tenbury bridge for a quick break when out. Pleasant staff, clean with very good prices and decent food. If the weather is nice there is a small outside area right on the riverbank which you can use which adds to the attraction. This is not the Savoy but for a small town cafe it really is very good.

My friend had the ploughmans plate and I had a BLT baguette, we had 4 cappuccinos and the bill was less than 15 pounds! Excellent food, great portions and wonderful service. Easy parking, overlooking the river. Definitely worth a visit.

Last weekend I visited the Riverside cafe Tenbury Wells. I cannot praise this establishment enough. The owners were pleasant and friendly, the service was excellent and the food cooked to perfection, in fact it was that nice I returned for another breakfast Monday morning before setting off for home. It will be my go to Cafe every time I pass through the town from now on. PS. Try the fudge brownies caramel brownies crunchie brownies afterwards or take them with you for later. They’re lovely. Highly recommend this cafe - the gentleman that run it are incredible! So friendly. Looked after our little one , out peppa pig on the tv, colouring books, you name it! Food was well priced and good qual. Will definitely return.

Great little cafe run by a great guy who is a qualified chef of 20 years. You can see all the food being cooked and the presentation is excellent. You can sit inside or on tables outside by the river. Really reasonable prices for great food. Will be going back shortly. Thank you guys
