Great atmosphere friendly locals and bar staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great beverages and plenty of seating. Good prices definitely recommend anyone to stop off for a refreshments

We attended a funeral wake for a dear friend at The Coracle, i have to say the food was very good indeed, there was a great selection.. in-fact the cake supplied was lovely. The lounge area within the pub was sectioned off just for the wake which gave a more personal atmosphere for Family and Friends. I can high recommend using the Coracle for functions.

Had my daughter's naming ceremony at the coracle inn. The buffet was fantastic and the customer service was excellent. We had such a great day and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again for another party.

i had my daughters wake there,it was £400,the food was poor,a lot of people commented on it and not much was eaten,i'm glad i made my own cakes,i have done buffets myself in the past so i know how much you make and i shouldn't think the food cost even £50,nothing was home made except the sandwiches,they weren't good,the only good comment about them was that the bread was fresh.i wish i had of waited before paying,i would of kept £200 of the money back.

Very friendly atmosphere. The landlord is very welcoming to everyone. I went to Tuesday afternoon.music 3pm till 5pm. Alan Williams, the entertainer, was on excellent form. Vocals and guitar playing were amazing. I'm not sure if they have weekly or just monthly. Food was being served, and that looked good, too. Excellent parking.

Recently held a baby shower at the pub.We did the option of afternoon tea for £10 per head cooked by Cathy and it was amazing. The food was homemade and there was soo much different choice of cakes, sandwiches,home,made sausage rolls, quiches etc was most definitely one of the best spreads of food ive tasted. The team were attentive and friendly.lovely pub with a lovely outside area too

I cannot recommend the coracle (and Cathy in particular) highly enough. We held a family wake at the pub and nothing was too much trouble - the food was outstanding and there was copious amounts, service excellent as always and a wonderful friendly atmosphere which made a really tough day just that bit more manageable! We will always be grateful thank you Cathy and your wonderful team

A warm, welcoming atmosphere. We had the Sunday roast which was absolutely amazing. Just like a home cooked meal. In fact the best roast we've ever had outside of home. On our next visit from Leicestershire to Shrewsbury it will certainly be our first stop.

Spacious bar. Plenty of screens for sport. Gd food and entertainment.This is definitely a locals pub that families having been using for many years.Plenty of space to enjoy a quiet pint although it's a bit rowdy early on.

WOW!! What can I say! Absolutely over the moon with the incredible afternoon tea buffet put on for us today, for the wake after my Mother's funeral. The food was fantastic, all freshly home cooked, gorgeous quiches and sausage rolls, freshly cut sandwiches, and the cakes and scones were fantastic. Everyone commented on the standard and quantity of food, and Cathy was the perfect hostess. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and anyone else wanting to book a wake/christening/birthday party etc. Thank you so much Cathy for doing us proud and helping us to give my Mum the send off she deserved 😁❤️

We held our annual Scooter funday at The Coracle this year.Nothing to much to ask from Landlady Cathy and Landlord Lee. Brilliant day had by all.Cracking bar service,they didnt stop all day,great food served at a reasonable price,staff were friendly and on it! Glass collectors and litter pickers worked tirelessly to keep everywhere clean and safe.Thank you to you and all your staff for allowing us to hold our get together on your premises.

Great family public house to attend, food and drink is great and where you can come to meet like minded souls, listen to multiple singers to entertainment from TV to Darts and pool. Love coming here and would happily do so for future to come 😁❤️

Used to come here often when I lived in Shrewsbury. Popped in when visiting family and what a transformation food is amazing and they’ve completely cleaned the pub up, they’ve worked extremely hard and are doing an amazing job

A very warm and friendly pub! We popped in for a quick drink after a day of shopping, we were very well looked after by the lovely staff and impressed by the choice of drinks

We went for the Sunday lunch cravey fantastic food and service the staff were fantastic couldn't do more for us it was my partners birthday the reason we went out there was 9 of us in total they had over heard this and wanted to make it special for him so after we had finished they brought him a brownie with cream and marshmallows with a candle and we all sang happy birthday, Gary head no idea about it really did end the meal feeling special on his special day, thank u to all the staff for making this happen we will be back the food was spot on the meal we had a great time thank u too all the staff from the prossers clan

Just back from Sunday carvery, what fantastic staff, fitted us in at short notice and accommodated my husbands wheat allergy. The meat melted in your mouth and what a selection of vegetables including my favourite cauliflower cheese. Thanks

Lovely atmosphere, as a very traditional British Pub. Spacious, great outdoor area, and the Friday night steak is the best Ive had in a pub. Always very nice and kind service.

The Saturday morning buffet breakfast is absolutely first class. Help yourself to as much as you want of all your full english favourites (even fried bread) plus cereals and tea & coffee, all for £6.50. Outstanding value and very tasty.

Perfect Sunday roast! Every carvery I've had here has been delicious, the meat melts in your mouth, a good selection of fresh tasty vegetables & the gravy is incredible! I'd never choose to go anywhere else for Sunday lunch.

After seeing adverts for The Coracle on Facebook and liking what we saw my husband and I decided to try the carvery on Sunday and I’m very glad we did . The food was all lovely the closest to homemade I’ve had for ages and the staff were really friendly especially the young man serving the carvery will definitely go back

Myself and my new wife had our reception evening at The Coracle and can't rate Cathy and Lee any higher. They were both so welcoming and their hospitality towards us and our friends and family was amazing. They went above and beyond for our special night and made everything run smoothly. If you need somewhere for a party or a venue then give them a call.

Fab fry ups today, full fat and vegetarian served with endless coffee (In proper mugs), an absolute must when catching up with friends during the day, served hot and tasty, had to sit in the bar as private function in the lounge, not a problem...
