In May we hired the Malvern Lounge to host our wedding reception. We are so glad we did. This bar is gorgeous. Perfect for our laid back fun wedding. We were able to hire a band, hire in food (we went for stone baked pizzas and donuts) and pretty much configure the bar how we wanted. Matt and his team were amazing at hosting and we had lots of fun with them. I would highly recommend Malvern Lounge for private functions as well as a great fun place to go on a weekend for a couple of amazing cocktails.

Very friendly welcome ! We've been to Malvern lots of times over the years but have never noticed this little gem in the corner of Abbey road until we happened upon it while visiting the vegan market. Lots of cocktails, but we had mulled wine & a pint of American IPA, which both were good 👍🏻

The owner is a really chatty & friendly guy and nothing is too much trouble. Cocktails are very reasonably priced. Good music. Great location with outdoor seating areas front & back. Would recommend.

Great place with a super friendly atmosphere. Outside area has a fabulous view overlooking the Abbey, especially beautiful at night when lit up. The owner Matt is just brilliant, oh, and the choice of cocktails is amazing! A must visit if out in Malvern.

This is a great place with a couple of indoor seating areas and a couple of oudoor seating areas. We sat indoors and admired the eclectic decor. Lovely cocktails at great prices.

Stylish interior with great range of vocktails and drinks

Visited recently for a wedding and thought the table service was great. Special thanks to the lovely lady with rep lipstick who provided quick service and good banter.

I love the Malvern lounge. All the staff are amazing and so attentive. The lounge it’s self is so unique with a great atmosphere. We recently did private hire at the lounge and all our guests complimented our choice of venue. The service was incredible from all bar staff. Matt the owner is friendly and very helpful. All in all a perfect bar to stop off for a couple of cocktails or larger gatherings for special occasions

We went to Malvern Lounge two separate times during our stay in Great Malvern (myself, my partner and our son- 7/4/22 and 6/4/22), we all thought Matt's customer service and welcoming attitude were exemplary and well, out of this world. Lovely cocktails. Really lovely place and honestly a fantastic place. Brilliant and recommended to everyone. Thanks and we will we back again (may not be soon but definitely at some point)

Went out on a night out with my friends. During the evening we sampled the cocktail bar. Fantastic place with modern decor. Lovely atmosphere with subdued lighting. Outdoor seating area. Recommended

Fab little place and great drinks!

In Malvern for a flying visit and was so impressed with visit one that we were back within 24 hours. Wonderfully welcoming (by Matt), perfect drinks (cocktails and wine) and a lovely location. If we lived nearby, I’d find it hard not to make a daily visit.

This was a fantastic and welcoming bar with a great range of very reasonably priced drinks and chatty friendly staff. The only downside for us was that it wasn’t open on Sunday nights.

Great little spot this. Right next door to mac and Jack's. Blink and you'll miss the outside but a tardis inside. Great drinks menu, decent prices, nice atmosphere. A must.

A bar with character and the kind of touches that only an independent owner can provide. Located in centre of Malvern but tucked in at the end of a short path we walked into a friendly, stylish quirky but intimate space for late Saturday afternoon drinks. Prompt table service and a very nice welcome from the owner. Outside seating available and plenty of space all round. This venue is using it's own track and trace via a QR code which didn't work for us and would be good to have the real ale bottled beers served at room temperature. Would highly recommend though. Will definitely visit again.

Loved this bar just through the arch on the right from the Abbey Hotel. The owner very friendly and welcoming, all carefully set out to keep social distancing. Huge list of cocktails and of course all the usual beers and wines. Really is a great bar to visit.

A hidden little gem of a bar in Malvern, friendly and comfortable, ideal for a summer chill out and now on my regular list of great places in Malvern

I didn't eat here, just called in at the end of the night for a few drinks. The viewfrom the terrace is incredible. The staff are really friendly and the drinks are great.

We spent 3 nights in Great Malvern and luckily we happened across Malvern Lounge on day 1. It's tucked away behind Jac & Macs cafe so you might easily miss it. Look for the red pub umbrella and follow the path.This is a great little cocktail bar with a wide selection of cocktails and very well kept lagers and wines. The owner was super friendly and we came back each night of our stay. They also have a lovely little terrace with great views of the priory next door. It is a bar though so there's no food.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Malvern tavern. The bar man (owner?) was extremely nice and made us feel most welcome. We’ve never been to Malvern before and just stumbled across this place after a long walk and really felt welcome. If we are back in Malvern again we will be sure to make another visit. Great location and beautiful quirky interiors!

We stayed at the B&B next door and popped in for a quick cocktail. Don’t let the small frontage fool you it’s beautiful and deceptively spacious inside. We were greeted by the owner who was so friendly and welcoming. The cocktails were amazing (the strawberry daiquiri is recommended!) sipping them in the beer garden felt like a real treat. We went back a couple more times during our break and the owner gave us great recommendations for food too. We will definitely be back.

Great barman good drinks the godfather and the cherry bakewell cocktails are a highlight also the espresso martini was amazing highly recommended

We visited the Malvern Lounge after dinner both nights during our recent stay in the town and would highly recommend this great, deceptively large, and welcoming bar. The 2 for £10 cocktails were great value but the friendly bar staff, interesting mix of decor and variety of seating areas, inside and out make this a great central location for drinks at any time.

We stayed three nights in Malvern and started every evening here (found it by accident really). We became hooked on their margaritas. No idea what the food is like.

Such a friendly atmosphere we made ut our "local" for our whole stay in Great Malvern. Really pleasant start to each evening

THE MOST UNIQUE HIDDEN GEM IVE EVER VISITED! I don’t personally live in Malvern however when I visit I always indulge in a fine wine at the Malvern lounge! (Sometimes a cheeky cocktail!) Covid measures in place and a safe atmosphere to enjoy yourself in! Definitely worth a visit!

I recently went to the Malvern lounge and was very happy with my experience. With COVID 19 going on everything has been put into place perfectly with the customers the number one priority and there health. Greeted with friendly faces and a smile . Your made to feel right at home.

Unless you know of this place you’ll struggle to find it but worth the hunt if you are ever in town. Tucked away on a small side street at the bottom of a concealed path but don be fooled it’s tiny, once inside the place is a tardis with a great beer garden and great cocktails, what a great experience , the manager was happy to chat and pass the time of day, fantastic drinks and great company, you can’t ask for more.

We have been to the lounge on numerous occasions and have experienced a very friendly atmosphere among customers and staff. My favourite cocktail is called ginger cake and my wife's is Gin sing, if you are driving the staff will mix a Mocktail which is alcohol free which is still delicious.

I loved it. The town needs a fresh look against the boring pubs. Well done

I came in for a couple of cocktails , firstly I had a mojito followed by a Long Island iced tea.superb drinks and enjoyable experience.sevice was top notch and would highly recommend this place. Bravo to the lounge and there staff.

We live 5 minutes away and pop in twice a week for cocktail. We travel widely during the week and this is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy and enjoy aCocktail. These are superb and compare with the Ritz! Mat is always friendly and interesting in conversation with us and all of his customers! Do not pass this by if you are visiting - you will not be disappointed!

Top notch ! Christmas light switch on in Great Malvern , Although at night children aren’t permitted the staff welcomed everyone when it was cold and wet outside ! Great atmosphere and a very good drink at a very reasonable price ! Thank you :)

Up in Malvern for work, saw a sign saying live music and wandered in. What an amazing bar, great atmosphere, great tunes, great service and great drinks. Absolutely love it. Hope work sends me to Malvern again soon. Would love a local like this.

I visisted Malvern fews aaturdays agao and visited the Malvern lounge. the service and friendliness of the staff and manager won me over. friendly happy and had great choice of cocktails to wind down after a working week. would recommend to locals and visitors alike to experience and give this place a night out to remember

A huge thanks to the Malvern Lounge for allowing me to hold my leaving do there.We had the downstairs area reserved for us and a very reasonable array of cheese, bread and nibbles provided for us.The selection of cocktails was wonderful.I’m looking forward to a reason to return in the near futures

Such a great place to come for something liquid and tasty. The owner is one of the nicest guys around and having drink in a place with a great atmosphere is definitely one of the better things in life. Look out for their open mic nights every second Thursday which are a great excuse to start the weekend a day early.
