The best restaurants in West Midlands

Huge portions, great tofu meals and the fried chicken is always crispy and tasty. Housemates and I have been coming for a few years now, recommend the garlic and coco chicken meals. Sometimes the chicken is a bit dry, but it still tastes great and doesn’t stop us from coming back.

Best sushi and ramen we ever had. Such lovely place to dine in. Highly recommended place to eat in with your family and friends.

Watched Opera .. Barber of Seville Coventry Showcase last night Tuesday 3rd June 6.30pm. Beyond wonderful Production streamed from Met.. Spectacular performances. Comfortable seats. But real shame not many people in audience. We felt we were actually at the Met itself... Pleasant service from staff member serving tea and coffee on arrival. Helpful young lady doing some cleaning. Great experience. Thank you

La comida, el ambiente y el servicio son increíbles. Teníamos una hermosa mesa arriba con vistas a la ciudad. La comida era deliciosa tuvimos 2 vegetarianos en nuestra fiesta y todos coincidieron en lo increíble que era la comida.

A modern concrete building in the heart of Shrewsbury. The interior has a fantastic range of stalls and places to eat. Would visit again

The staff are lovely. Food was okay, nothing special but filled us up. Toilets could do with a good clean and overall do up.

Staff go the extra mile to help you find the right curry. The combination offering is great for trying a couple of different ones. Food excellent, service excellent

Food wasn't as expected, think Varansi is better taste wise. One of the curry's just didn't taste nice at all and the other was okay. My husband thought the same aswell. However, atmosphere and decor is really nice. Great service but don't think I'd go back again. Feel like it's overhyped, much better places out there that are cheaper as well in my opinion !

Tried to book a table for 5 for a birthday celebration. Went in in person and was told a £10 per head deposit. Nothing wrong with that, happy to do so, especially as restaurants have 'no shows' but we couldn't pay there and then even though we had the credit card ready. Was told you will be sent a link. Got home and it was to my messages and assumed I banked on my mobile, I don't. Phoned back to discuss how we could pay and was told the system has recently changed, they didn't know how to process the payment put the phone down on me! Sorry you don't want our business despite having being many times before. Approx spend in the past £70 each so just said goodbye to £350 ! I understand that you might use cashless but you really need to put in place some way of taking payments other than on a mobile, especially as we had specifically gone in to the restaurant and were more than happy to pay there and then.

Good was fantastic. The service was amazing and the staff were so friendly and working. Stacey who worked on the bar was lovely. Made me feel at home. The manager Chris was also very welcoming and friendly . We will definitely be returning

Decent food in the heart of the jewellery quarter.

Down in the area for a few days and the locals said it was well worth a visit so we walked up from Wolverley along the canal. When we arrived (and it was random Monday) we were surprised how busy it was. Ordered the noted cobs and salad at a fiver each( less if you don't have salad) and we were not disappointed. The meats were plentiful and lovely. Don't do pub meals and it's cash only. Not surprised it was popular.
