Amazing experience. The food was delicious, the wait staff attentive and the atmosphere exquisite. Viraj was our waiter and he exemplifies professionalism.

On the occasion of Mother’s Day we went to Qavali restaurant the food was so amazing with excellent service So we ordered the grilled items more and also curry’s

Terrible experience today on Eid day. We were given over cooked chicken in several dishes. The waiter told us that we were wrong for complaining about the chicken because it was chicken breast. The waiter was argumentative and rude with zero customer service skills and requires intensive training! Avoid this place, value for money is bad, quality of food is bad and customer service is bad!

For a Saturday night, it was quiet. The food was good, and the service was average, but still got a £50 service charge which should have been argued. But it was food.

We came back for a second visit, and the food, ambience and service were brilliant again! Absolutely my favourite restaurant in Birmingham.

My initial visit to Qavali was a delightful experience. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed with a gracious smile. The restaurant maintained an impeccable level of cleanliness throughout. The service provided by Viraj was exemplary, demonstrating utmost professionalism and attentiveness. The culinary offerings were nothing short of sensational, with each dish masterfully prepared. The timing between courses was perfectly orchestrated, allowing for a seamless dining experience. Additionally, the cocktails were not only delectable but also visually striking, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the meal.

Viraj served us and he was very pleasant and nice, all staff are welcoming, Viraj went the extra mile though however ensuring our comfort and happiness while eating at Qavali. Food was amazing menu is out of this world and very cultural, plenty different variety from all over when it came to drinks so come on over and enjoy this lovely food place.

Food was well presented and some aspects were divine but some just mediocre for the cost. Service was excellent , Ana was so helpful and attentive , she made our evening extra special , They had an area for us to pray in and were very considerate regarding our fasting and bringing the food out on time . Wonderful esthetics of the place , vibey (not the most suitable for Iftar time ) and overall great experience for a special occasion .

I recently had the most incredible experience at The Quavali, and I can’t help but gush about it! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of elegance and comfort. But what truly made the evening unforgettable was the exceptional service, thanks in large part to our waiter, Shunrh. The food at The Quavali was, of course, phenomenal—each dish bursting with flavors that were both familiar and excitingly new. But with Shunrh's thoughtful service, the entire evening felt like a masterclass in hospitality. It's rare to encounter someone who so effortlessly makes a dining experience feel personal and special, and Shunrh did just that.

Myself and family are at Qavali in Birmingham for the first time to celebrate my husbands birthday. We chose the Bottemless Brunch with cocktails. Food was amazing and very tasty. We were served by Ana who was friendly and made us feel very welcome and saw to anything we needed. Highly recommend this place. The decor and quality is breathtaking. Everyone is dressed so smart. Just one thing on the bottomless brunch menu. I’d be nice to have a sauce to go with dry main dishes because the choice on sides like naan and rice is also dry. Thank you all at Qavali 😊😊😊

Food was delicious. Decor was gorgeous. Staff were amazing and made extra efforts to squeeze us last in last minute when they were busy.

I visited around valentines and I must say, amazing food, really nice cocktails each with a unique story behind them, bar was also willing to take orders. Service was top quality I was very well taken care of by Rajesh and everyone at Qavali!

The vibe is very chic and the food is very delicious like not normal very apt and flavourful and lamb shank suggested by Aleena was 10/10. Aleena is too sweet and suggested their best options.

First time visiting Qavali and i absolutely loved the food and Atul was so sweet. He explained most of the dishes and his knowledge was commendable. He regularly checked up on us and the service was great. Definitely coming back again.

We had the wine paring lunch menu. Not many people in the restaurant but still had an enjoyable atmosphere. Unlike my wife I’m not overly adventurous in what I eat but thought let’s give it a try. This was my 3rd visit to the astounding Qawali, in the last 1 year. As always, the experience has been immensely amazing, the feel good hospitality, services and above all the Food n drinks has been really nice. Enjoyed every bit there, went with friends n family. Also, to mention the servers Atul and Mayank were really outstanding with the exceptional services right from the beginning to the end. I particularly asked their names, because I really found them very warm, respectful and professional. They added more value to the already amazing experience we had. Must visit, kudos to the entire team.

Can’t fault our first experience at Qavali. Rajesh was attentive and helpful. The decor is lovely and the standout dishes for me were the prawn starter and the chicken biryani - I’m not usually a biryani person but this was great. The portions are quite generous, we couldn’t finish and so we took the leftovers home!

Horrible food especially for the price. Was served by a depressed looking waiter who then put 10% service charge on the bill… Regret going!!

I booked for my birthday to celebrate with friends. The service was great from the start to the finish. The staff didn't make us feel rushed & listened to all our requests. It was lovely to get a free drink for my bday & a cake with a candle. It made the day feel special. The food was very tasty, picked from main menu & you have a good choice with the drinks flowing (cocktails lovely & house rose wine) Also you have a great spot tp catch some amazing pictures with loved ones. Thank you to all the staff that served us. Would recommend 👌

We were in town for the All England badminton tournament and stumbled upon Qavali for dinner. We were well taken care by Ruturaj, who recommended us the lamb chops, the lamb shank, and the garlic naan. They were absolutely delicious and nothing was left remaining - the gravy with the lamb shank was a particular standout. We will definitely come again.

The grill plate with lamb chops, wings, and Baluchi chicken is a delicious feast. The lamb chops are tender and flavorful, the wings are crispy and juicy, and the Baluchi chicken offers a perfect blend of smoky and spicy flavors. A must-try for meat lovers!

I am not one for bad reviews, but this place was entirely disappointing from start to finish. The food is unavoidably bland, with very little flavour considering the price range. The portion sizes are extremely small, the lamb chops were incredibly poor. I would recommend any other mixed grill place in the West Midlands over this. The only positive is the interior is quite decadent and appealing for those wanting to visit somewhere Instagrammable.

We came to Cavali to celebrate my sister's birthday. We were served by Ana who made our experience amazing, she was so attentive and made our experience so fun and nice. Food was lovely but service was even better.

I went with my family yersterday night for an a iftari to break our fast there and I was so happy when I saw this restaurant and excited to eat the food but my experience there was awful and disappointed because the food was horrible taste and low and less quantity literally we was so hungry cuz we were fasting the all day basically this restaurant was terrible I will suggest those who go there don’t go and the prices was too high with a less quantity in the plates

This stunning restaurant offers a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere, with an extraordinary fusion of Indo-Persian flavors that take you on a culinary journey. From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the warm ambiance, elegant leafy décor, and the soft glow of lanterns that exuded rich cultural charm. The menu is truly a masterpiece, offering a carefully curated selection of dishes inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Persia, Turkey and India. Each plate is a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Even the drinks menu is an experience in itself 😊 very detailed and extensive, almost like a textbook of mixology. Among our choices, two of my friends opted for the Baluchi charcoal chicken, I indulged in the Lahori lamb chops, and another friend enjoyed the Punjabi chicken tikka. For drinks, I had the Scarlet, while my friends sipped on the Akbar & Alphonso, though I can’t quite recall the last drink on our table. Service was impeccable! The staff were attentive yet unobtrusive, ensuring we had a seamless dining experience. Even after dinner, as we waited for our ride, they allowed us to linger and catch up without any rush. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, offering helpful recommendations with genuine enthusiasm. If you’re looking for a dining experience that’s both unique and unforgettable when in Birmingham. Qavali is a great choice, I can’t recommend it enough!

Third time we have gone and consistently good food and service. Small menu but very reasonable. I suppose my only comment would relate to very few vegetarian or fish options, just one of each. And I know Persian cooking has loads of veg normally. Still really good food, especially for carnivores.

A lovely surprise was the complimentary baklava and drinks for our anniversary – something we only briefly mentioned while booking over the phone, yet the team remembered and made the gesture without us saying a word during our visit. It’s rare to find such thoughtful and genuine service, and Mayank truly went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. First time at Qawali, amazing atmosphere. We went for the tasting Menu, which was full of flavour and every course was enjoyable. We were served by the kind, helpful Divya who take great care of us. Definitely will be returning and could not fault the customer service provided. Attention to each customer noted and we never had any need to ask for anything additional.

We went for the tasting menu for my fiancée's birthday. What an experience. The food was out of this world and there was just so much of it....we had to ask for a doggy bag 😂 would highly recommend it. Some awesome cocktails too. The restaurant is lovely and the staff were super friendly and attentive. A special shout out to Mavank our waiter for the evening. He was brilliant. I happened to mention that it was my fiancée's birthday in passing and the next thing we knew, we had a baklava with a candle on it and a non alcoholic cocktail brought to the table. Absolutely fantastic evening, thank you 😊

Our favourite place to eat out in Birmingham by far! We are treated like family by our favourite waitress, Divya. Who even remembers our order and nut allergy. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

We had an amazing dining experience at qavali. The food , ambience and staff was excellent. We were served by Shunkh who made us very comfortable through out. We were surprised at the end by a complimentary dessert and drink which was a cherry on the cake. Would recommend this place for celebrating a special occasion.
