Lovely lunch. Staff very helpful. Food arrived at the table very quickly. Nice atmosphere.

We came here for a Sunday roast, which I have to say was lovely. Kelly, our waitress was very friendly, cannot fault her service. However, we did spend our whole meal being stared at by 2-3 male members of staff, seemingly whispering to each other at the same time.

I went to this restaurant with high expectations, but it was like a comedy of errors on a plate. We ordered two small plates and some chips. The meat in our bao buns felt like we were chewing on crusty fossils, and the pork belly dish was a tasteless adventure mostly consisting of peppers with the occasional appearance of sad little meat bits. The chips were ok but the sauce was not how we had expected. The noise level was so also slightly too high. Overall, a disappointment.

Stayed over in Birmingham for a night and were recommended this place for breakfast! We were not disappointed! Loved the quirky decor and relaxed atmosphere, the food was amazing and service was efficient. Mac, one of the waiters was very attentive. Would definitely come back again. Lovely place!

Visiting from East Yorkshire & found this place on TripAdvisor . Took a taxi from the city centre and arrived to find an unassuming facade, however once inside .. it’s amazing! A fabulous unique quirky warehouse with fantastic decor. The menu is varied and tempting & we plumped for a Burger and a Pizza with extra chicken! Totally delicious. 10/10. The service was excellent too!

It has a wow factor in terms of everything it offers. A renovated factory to a restaurant with no features hidden. Good food served by great staff, one called Mac who served us was impeccable in attitude and service. Great range of beers and wines. Pizza toppings were nice but base not crispy enough though. Great chips!

This is a great place - lots going on all the time, a good and varied menu, a cool bar at the front of the site and an excellent Sunday lunch offering. Fantastic addition to JQ!

Took my wife for her birthday for breakfast as she has never been. Food was tasty & well presented. Although it wasn't busy (Friday, mid-morning), management should have had more than one member of staff at front of house - poor waitress (who was a lovely lady) was absolutely stretched between taking orders, making drinks, cleaning up & getting food out, while kitchen staff (one who i presumed to be a co-owner) kept ringing the bell for food out when he perhaps could have done it himself. Not impressed at all. Management are meant to lead by example. Some reconsideration to the rota next time! Improve that, service quality & overall experience would be 5/5 for sure 👍🏾

My recent visit to The Rolling Mill was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and a charming ambiance. The menu boasted an array of tantalizing options, and we were spoilt for choice. I opted for their BBQ pulled chicken pizza, and I must say, it was a culinary masterpiece! Bursting with flavor in every bite, the gluten-free crust was perfectly crispy, and the toppings were deliciously balanced. Our waitress was an absolute delight, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The attention to detail and dedication to providing an unforgettable dining experience truly sets The Rolling Mill apart. I would give 0 stars if possible on yestrdays experience , we had the sunday roast which was cold and the gravy was watery and tasteless , would not recommend to anyone , but the customer service was what topped it off , not once were we asked if our meal was ok , no please or thank you from any of the staff , didnt want to acknowledge we were even there.. Overall a very poor experience and way overpriced sunday roast ..We definitely wont be returning or recommending to anyone which is a shame as we had been to the rolling mill before and had a pleasent experience , but wont be returning now km afraid !!!

Great setting, love the decor. Quickley seated and served. Food was superb... how ever, our waitress Abigail who served us must of gone on a break as once we finished eating no one came to ask us if we wanted a desert or more drinks etc... we waited for around 25 minuets before we decided to give up waiting, so we paid an left feeling a little dissapointed after what was a warm welcome at the start.

I had a fantastic experience at The Rolling Mill! The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was perfect for a great dining experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delightful meal with a wonderful ambiance.

Last year, we discovered The Rolling Mill in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and found it to be delicious, so we finally made the decision to return. This time we went for… 🌮 Beef Rib Taco’s 🐑 Marinated Grilled Lamb Cutlets 🍆 Baked Aubergine filled with Ratatouille The beef tacos were absolutely delicious! The flavor was enhanced by the lime mayo, and we can’t express how delicious they were. We regret not ordering more, as one each was definitely not enough. The Lamb Cutlets came with dauphinoise potato, carrot, leeks, mint salsa verde and gravy. Although the lamb was very tasty, we found it to be quite tough and had quite a lot of fat on it, meaning parts were not edible. I did ask for this to be cooked pink and it did come out the way I asked, but unfortunately was still tough. The dauphinoise potato was incredible and full of flavour, we really enjoyed them. The baked aubergine was a new experience for us, and it was gorgeous. The variety of flavors that were present certainly stimulated your taste buds. Although The Rolling Mill’s menu is not extensive, we always find something we want to try and it never fails us. We consistently recommend this restaurant to all and will carry on doing so.

Sunday roast good but could be better. Table of 4 all ordered beef to be as rare as possible but x2 was pink and x2 well done so a bit inconsistent and roast potatoes tasted like they'd been cooked for a while. A serving improvement would be to offer mustard or other condiments without asking. Overall good value and a decent place to watch sport in the upstairs area. Waitress Kelly was very friendly and attentive with drinks and ordering.

Love coming here, the food is always awesome. Really spoilt for choice as everything is really tasty so you can't go wrong. Service was slow this time, we had drinks then didn't get anyone come back to us for a while after. We happened ro be there for a celebration but during a lunchtime. Its ashame when you have to rush your food to make it back for people's parking etc Food as I said amazing, didn't dissappoint. We all enjoyed our meals and the portions were really good too. Been here with kids too and they love the kids menu so it's a great all rounder, food, atmosphere and chilled out decor. Can't wait to go back!

Great service, plenty of seating and very clean. Had a coffee, a chicken burger and a beer. I thought the chicken burger was pretty bland and could have been much better. The coffee was very nice, and the beer was beer.

From the moment you walk in, the place is full of energy. Walking through a sports bar area, with dart boards and plenty of screens. Then onto a walkway, think the “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here” bridge but… not that. Into a super spacious restaurant area. Fully stocked bar, seasonal cocktails, great lighting and tables long enough for the whole family. Or a small family who don’t enjoy each others company. The menu is versatile and varied - with one common theme: good heart food. There’s something for everyone on the list. Service was also great!! Our server (Abigail) was so attentive and their personality shone through! You don’t expect above and beyond, but this really was it. Next up, the ultimate test - will my Nan enjoy their Sunday Roasts? Only time will tell.

Myself and wife went for breakfast.. ordered small full English. Was spot on, only one small issue ...it could have been served a little warmer. Would we go again? Yep deffo!

Didn't know anything about this place. Went for lunch on a Friday, but ended up staying all afternoon. Really liked the atmosphere in the high roofed room at the back. Service was spot on and I enjoyed the food. I'll go back for sure.

So it was my sister 40th Birthday last Saturday and so we needed a place that could fit many us in such a short notice. After enquiring via The Rolling Mill's website, I received a reply back from the General Manager Sunny who confirmed there was availability for that day and for 28 of us and a child. After calling and confirming the booking I received their pre-order form, which helped with what everyone wanted as long as it was a min of two courses Starter and Main or Main and Desert. Came to the day we came down early to the restaurant and was greeted by the host, Becs who made us feel welcome with her hospitality and allow us to set up with a few decorations. Even though there was a few other customers already in the restaurant and few people from the party was running late, we let them know which they was fine. Once everyone was here food arrived and the service provided by table servers where brilliant. Overall the atmosphere and the choice of food and the quality of them was amazing. Very highly recommend. Again thank you for allowing us to celebrate my sister's birthday at the restaurant. Would definitely come again.

A very interesting restaurant with great food. Only issue we had was a few items on the menu had sold out, we went for lunch so likely would have been sold out for dinner service as well. Definitely worth a try, reasonable price as well. The photo is the bacon and cheese burger.

Have been before . Wasn't as expensive as previous We had two pizzas . One side of fries . 3 beers and 3 vodkas £84 for two of us Service was decent, not great . We had to ask a few times for more drinks . Overall, I'm not in a rush to go back. Not for that price! Went to Del Villagio week before Christmas and that was £80 for four of us! (Only one alcoholic beverage purchased)

Made our group Christmas meal far more complicated than it needed to be. Sent us 2 menus beforehand then moaned when we pre-ordered from both (hadn't said we should pick one or the other. Then couldn't read their own spreadsheet when it was returned completed. Several unordered items on the bill at the end.

Hello. I visited the restaurant today (for the 3rd time) and I actually was not happy about the experience. I ordered a steak, was only given a choice between pink or well done. The steak came cut in slices, soaked in some basil sauce. It came with a very cheap value supermarket french fries that were so hard it was difficult to push a fork in them; and some salad leaves. The price was 23 GBP and its very disappointing for the quality of the food. Steak being very average, full of fat, and thin. The service was also a little unpleasant, lacking some customer service skills. My 1st two visits over summer were quite pleasant, and the food was of much better quality. I feel like things have downgraded since then significantly so I wont be coming back and can only recommend the place for its amosphere.

Roast potatoes were hard ....3 salmon eggs does not count a caviar......otherwise good

I ordered a biscoff milkshake which was the worst milkshake I've ever had. It was too watery. It seemed that they forgot to add any ice cream to it, so it was just milk, some cream and a biscuit. I've never had such a watery milkshake before.

Unfortunately an Average few trips to this restaurant for me. Truly, the actual venue is amazing. Great interior. I’ve really tried to like this place and make it ‘my local’ as the vibe is great. BUT unfortunately the food and the service really let it down a lot. I have been 4 times now and I’ve not yet had a good meal. Service is poor, staff are not trained well at all. The pictures make the food look unbelievable, but the reality is that the quality of the food and the flavour is very average. And not worth the high price. I’ve tried to complain before, as I really want this place to do well, but had I get zero response. A real shame as with a few amendments, which the owners seem not to care, this place could be really really good.
