First time here. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The good was excellent atmosphere good & service was a little slow, but they were very busy, do would have to allow for that.

Ok so the evening didn’t start well. We had an 815pm table booking. And didn’t sit down until 930pm. Surely staff could have been more helpful in asking the people over staying their welcome to leave ? We were sat downstairs near the bar whilst we waited. There were no updates or explanations. And then to the better news. The food was incredible, all 5 of us agreed. Paella, lamb croquettes, and many more treats. Service was good and very friendly. Will definitely be back !

Fabulous food, lovely staff. Very accommodating when asked about a meal - I was offered a vegetarian version. Cant wait to go back.

All very good.They had " lost" our booking, but gave us a good table and we enjoyed our evening. The staff are excellent and really engage with their customers. We would happily return...specially for the Pistachio Tiramisu!

Very slow service but staff very friendly. Sharing board fresh and excellent value. Paella’s extremely tasty. Mediterranean Moroccan chicken dish bit sweet for me but no issues. Very big portions. Would recommend

Good food but overcharged on the bill and the issue wasn’t properly sorted despite our table raising the issue. Pepsi and Lemonade priced at £2.55 on the menu, but appeared on the bill at £4.55. We were then told that the price on the menu was for a half pint even though there is no measurement listed. Even after questioning and giving the chance to change the bill, the restaurant did not act.A bad end to a nice meal. Very disappointed- please get in touch to provide compensation for this lapse in customer service and transparency before we consider coming back.

Very noisy. Tapas was nice but fish sharing platter was really dry and uninspiring - so glad we had brought out at rhe same time as tapas - it would've been a very disappointing standalone course - we left a good 50% of it. The carafe of wine which was advertusrd with the platter was in fact only a half carafe - very misleading. They were clearing stuff off the table while we were still eating and then we had to asl for the bill 3 times even though we saw the waiter we'd asked just standing at the end of the room. I wouldn't rush back

Been here a few times over the last few years. Always excellent food. On our most recent visit we tried some cocktails - also excellent, especially the Orange Marmalade Martini.

We stopped here on a through visit to Worcester and the only thing wrong with it is thats it’s not closer to home !!! We have eaten a lot of tapas and I’ve eaten in Paco in Bristol which is very highly recommended and The Olive Branch is far better . Some of the best food we have ever had. The 5 tapas for £30 is fantastic value the food is absolutely beautiful the restaurant and staff are fantastic. I am considering taking the train just to get dinner there in the future. Well done !!!

Another excellent early dinner at The Olive Branch. 10 Tapas dishes for £60 with a nice bottle of Rioja. Excellent. Special shout-out for Karol who looked after us with humour and afficiency.

We had the 5 for £30 Tapas and it was very good. Decent ham & cheese croquettes (x2), nice potatas bravas, lamb koftas and meatballs, but there was a wide range of dishes that we could have had. Would definitely revisit if in the area again.

Great place for a lite lunch. The place has a good vibe and food and wine at drop into price. Staff very friendly and attentive but not overly so.

Food and atmosphere is great. The outdoor seating is limited but lovely on a warm day. Inside feels authentic and fun with good music! Tapas choices can be expensive with portions varying but I have not left hungry and have enjoyed every meal and the choice.

My husband and I called in for tapas in the afternoon it was absolutely delicious it had been recommend by another couple in our hotel who were also very complimentary highly recomend the chicken tagine , beef shawarma and tiger prawns excellent value and staff were very friendly and helpful

Great food. Great service and great atmosphere. Paella deal on a Tuesday is spot on. 2 paella and a sangria for £45. My only gripe with our visit was our maijs came out before we had finished our starters. Made it feel a little rushed. However, we will definitely return.

One of the best paellas I have ever had. The quantity for 2 people is enormous too, we weren't able to finish it. This is probably the best Spanish restaurant we have been to in the UK and can't wait to visit again!

Came here for lunch over the weekend with a group of friends and it was lovely. We shared a range of tapas which was all delicious, personal favourites were the truffle potatoes, Lebanese croquettes, arancini and the burrata salad. We had other things too which were all really nice alongside a jug of sangria. The food came all together and the wait wasn’t too long. It took a while for our drinks to come but it was busy. I would say it was slightly too pricy for the portion sizes compared with other places I’ve been for similar standard of food. We had 10 dishes between 4 of us and it was £30 each, but we weren’t full so ideally would have ordered more but we didn’t want to spend anymore money. Overall tasty food and I would visit again though.

We also try to find a tapas restaurant when we go away and found this to be one of the better ones! The food was delicious and with the weekday offer it ended up being reasonably priced (for tapas these days). All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. As we had a dog with us we were booked into the bar area which only has a few tables, so definitely worth booking ahead. Would definitely return if we lived closer!

Great place and food ..I will be back

We went for dinner on Saturday. Very busy night inspite of which the service was polite and efficient. Food was excellent. The two of us had 2 sides and 3 tapas with greek flat bread. 2 tapas would have been just right. We were seated in the basement which some would describe as pokey others Cosy! It was very noisy but that is something that cannot be helped. Definitely worth a visit.

Good food. Although I don’t think it is authentic Spanish is tasty and well cooked and abundant!

Fair review.. Food was lovely.. when it arrived.. had a 50 minute wait.. which would have been okay if we had of been told.. but we had to chase it.. waiter was lovely.! Returned my wine twice Marlborough New Zealand sauv.. this is the only wine I drink so I know it was not this.. ordered half a peroni instead.. presumed the wine would be taken off of the bill.. When the bill arrived the wine was still on it plus a £3.55 water we never ordered. I questioned the bill and then a lady came over and informed me I returned the wine with a sip left.. not the case it was easily 175ml out of 250ml.. which costs £11.55.. Would of been happy if they had of taken the water off which we didn’t have and the not nice wine and charged me for the peroni.. if this was sorted with respect would of returned, but I felt awkward and disrespected.

Unfortunately really disappointing. Both quality of our meals and service really lacking. I've been here in the past for tapas and it has been lovely and the place I really like. But .....I can't recommend this place for an evening meal, there is no way this was good. In fact both me and my partner both questioned if the rice was Batchelors savoury rice! Real shame cos this was for my 60th birthday and left hungry and disappointed.

Delicious food and attentive service.

Very good food, absolutely delicious and very good service. It is one of the few restaurants that have proper waiters. I would definitely recommend it.

Rude staff/owner/Manager We book a table for a sat nigh for 4 and when we got there they said there was no booking. The manager/owner talked to us like we where lying about the booking even after we showed your phone with the call done to them . All the interaction the manager/owner kept being rude and questioning everything we where saying. So unprofessional and incredibly rude. Being there many time but never again! AVOID

Initially joined Remi Harris and his band, who were playing in St Swithuns, and were having a pre gig meal. They had various pizzas which they all said were amazing. I only had a latte which was excellent, as I was meeting friends My friends arrived and we were taken upstairs to the main restaurant. We chose 10 different tapas dishes to take advantage of the 5 for £30 offer. Every dish offered a different taste sensation. Throughout the time I spent here the service was excellent even when it started to fill up Looking forward to returning which I definitely will!

We managed to book last table at 6pm so could benefit from cocktail and tapas deals. Lovely warm atmosphere with great service from all the staff throughout our meal. Had the best gambas pil pil calamari lamb kofte chorizo and beef shawarma. All superb dishes As were the cosmopolitans. Great experience all round and highly recommend but definitely book ahead

Delicious food , excellent service and a nice ambience. What more could you ask for? We came for a meal with our three daughters , two of whom turned 16 today . Thank you to the two staff members who sang Happy Birthday to them !

Two for lunchtime walk-in. Interesting menu to choose from, in friendly ambience. We chose several small plates, all well-presented, freshly prepared and very tasty.

I must be jinxed . Honestly Our 19th anniversary. After 1 hour 10 mins. Waiting for tapas main course We are told we will be given 10% discount as our meals are. Very very late …!!! Lovely dishes. 2 stone cold Bill arrives. £30 for 5 tapas is now £45. When queried, changed instantly

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal on Thursday evening. Nibble starters followed by 5 tapas which we shared. Plenty of food for the two of us and really tasty. The staff were very friendly and professional. Really couldn't fault them or the food at all thanks. Very good atmosphere as well.

We are regulars and yesterday was even better, which I didn’t think possible. Three of us had the tapas plus two side dishes. We ordered two Chicken tagine which was delicious. When it all arrived we thought we’d never get through it all, but we couldn’t bring ourselves to leave anything. I then ordered a takeaway for my husband, so a lovely no cooking day .

Incredible food, superb service visited with friends on a recommendation and will be going back!

On an overnight stop in the city after a long drive we opted for tapas because of the flexibility it offers. We were very hungry and had 5 tapas plus an order of bread between 2, which was just the right amount. Our food was extremely good. Service was friendly and unobtrusive - just towards the end of the evening we had to actively attract the attention of staff, despite being seated in the bar area. In other ways they were very considerate though. I didn't realise straight away that a virgin cocktail (delicious) was really packed with ice, so there was very little actual cocktail to drink. Our warm rustic bread was a bit dry on one of the cut sides (perhaps left under lights,) Without the drink/bread/waving details I'd happily give them 5 stars. Including 10% Service, a bottle of non-fancy wine and a coffee for Mr Custard Cream, it was just shy of £100. Nice vibe, would recommend

Absolutely the best experience we have had when visiting Worcester. The staff were helpful, service was exceptional and the food was fabulous. Michelin standards... Better than some with a star.

My wife and I visited for a mid week evening meal. Had the main dishes and a pudding to share, and the overall experience was fantastic. Attentive service, good wine, and the mains were a good sized portion and delicious.

We didn't have a reservation, and they were able to give us a table for four people. Ordered 4 tapas meals and a side order of garlic flatbread. The food was presented on wooden boards, it was hot and tasted fresh. We all loved it and would highly recommend. Staff were warm and friendly

The food here is as good as the one which I have eaten in Spain... one word to describe it: "excellent...!"

This is the best restaurant in Worcester in my opinion. It is great for vegans like myself and has a separate vegan menu which contains 12 Tapas, 9 Mains, 4 desserts and a host of sides. The food is delicious, the servings are more than generous and the staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The ambience is great too. I'd recommend this place to everyone. There is no downside for me.

This is a lovely Tapas restaurant. Excellent value as if you visit before 7pm, you can order 5 tapas dishes for £30 - this is plenty for 2 people to share. We enjoyed chicken skewers, delicious fried haloumi, paella, croquettes & small fried fish. A little female of a restaurant just off the high Street in Worcester.

Food was first class, staff attentive and friendly. Beautiful place and great atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere here, service was ok for a Thursday evening during December which was busy. Excellent food and staff very pleasant. A bit pricey but to be expected for a city centre venue.

We’d booked a table for 6 at Impasto, but was later contacted to say that they had accidentally booked our table at Olive Branch (I understand they share the same kitchen with Impasto) so we’d have Impasto food but served via the Olive Branch. Therefore this review won’t include any comment on the food served here. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. We were seated in the cellar, at a table for 6 very close to the door, which was really distracting as people often rushed past in very close proximity to some of us. When taking our food orders, the server then forgot to ask one party member for their order. They didn’t apologise when we pointed this out. I didn’t get the sense that the server was wanting to be there at all, he interacted very minimally with us. It then took 70 minutes from being seated to receiving our food. We received no apology for the wait. They had also made a further mistake with somebody’s order, bringing two of the same sides when only one was requested (server had written the side as “Z. -product name-“, which was misinterpreted by the kitchen staff as “2 -produce name-“). We sent this back immediately. Nobody came to ask us how our food was. I could hear other tables around us also complaining about the long wait. It took a further 15mins after sitting with empty plates for them to be taken away. We requested the bill - this took another 10mins and we had been overcharged by around £40 (£16 of this was an optional 10% service charge, the rest was overcharging for the meal). They had put through all our pizzas as £17 when they should have been £12. They had included the mistake (second side). We asked for the service charge to be removed, as the waiting time for food was unacceptable. Again the server did not apologise. It took 3 further bills to get the correct amount. The second bill had redacted the service charge and side, but we remained overcharged for the pizzas. We brought this upstairs to the manager, as by this stage we had been at the premises for 2hours for a 1 course meal and we were now running late for an evening event. The third bill from the manager then charged the correct amount for the pizzas, but added back on the service charge, making it a higher total than the second bill. We again requested the service charge was removed AGAIN, and finally were charged the correct amount. We were stood in the main entrance for a good 10 minutes sorting this out. I understand that The Olive Branch don’t have Impasto food items on their cash register, which complicated things with the bill. I’d say don’t offer the service if you are struggling to this extent.

Some of the best Mediterranean food we’ve ever tasted. We had the Greek meze sharing platter and two tapas dishes and everything was faultless! Staff were extremely busy but still very attentive and sorted the issue with our bill straight away. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back

Noisy is being polite, the noise level was unbearable, couldn't hear anything with the group I was with. Food good, service not the best, slow at times bearing in mind we had pre ordered and management rude!! Overall not a great experience so would not return.

I arranged our annual Xmas event here and we couldn’t have been better looked after. A beautiful venue with very attentive (and patient) staff and the food was both plentiful and delicious. Will definitely be returning.

A Mixed Experience at the Mediterranean Restaurant I recently visited the Mediterranean Restaurant with high hopes, drawn in by its inviting ambiance and friendly staff. The interior was delightful, and the staff members were incredibly polite and welcoming. However, my dining experience took a disappointing turn when it came to the food. My companions and I opted for a variety of dishes, including Greek, Spanish, and Frito share plates. To our dismay, the food was rather average, failing to meet the elevated expectations we had for Mediterranean cuisine. The flavors lacked the authenticity we anticipated, leaving us longing for a more genuine taste experience. Additionally, we ordered some tapas, only to find them drenched in an excessive amount of oil. This not only affected the taste but also made the dishes feel heavy and less enjoyable. While the restaurant's ambiance and staff created a pleasant atmosphere, the subpar quality of the food left much to be desired. Despite the friendly service and appealing decor, I left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and wishing for a more authentic and flavorful Mediterranean dining experience.

Visited on a Friday evening to celebrate our sons birthday. Couldn’t fault the food or service it was all top class. Booking in advance they do take a £10 per head deposit which is obviously deducted from the bill. Throughly recommend.

Absolutely loved this beautiful restaurant, the atmosphere was amazing, it was full of customers, the food was just gorgeous , starters , mains, and deserts,( yes! We had it all) staff were amazing considering it was so busy! From start to finish we loved our first visit here. I don't think it will be our last visit either

Absolutely delicious food. I’d only popped in to see Mum while she was having a meal and ended up staying. The seafood paella I ordered was very, very tasty (and filling!) while the tapas selection was absolutely divine. Special mention for the patatas bravas and...

Felt rather characterless compared to expectations, staff were all quite friendly, food was also okay, we did have to send a dish back to be heated but would visit again as it may have just been a hectic night.
