Proper old pub, good choice of ciders, lagers and beers. Shows sports but with sound levels low so you can still have a conversation, Marque and garden to the rear. Staff very friendly

It's quite nice in here. Not a great beer selection but they had a decent IPA considering it was Greene King. The lay out was nice, TVs and dart boards littered around. If it wasn't across the road from the Firefly I'd drop in more often.

Fantastic pint of Guinness. Deceptively larger than it seems with smaller partitioned off area for watching sports with your group (though TVs are available from most angles). Welcoming place, Landlord Sam runs the place fairly. Recommended.

Great ambience; good selection of beers; it's clean which is obviously important in these strange times. There is a great garden at the back that is like a little oasis of calm in the middle of the city. The bar staff are excellent, really friendly, it's just a nice place to take the wife and have a quiet drink even she says it's clean!

Sunday 9th March the weather is beautiful I walked into baguette man and was met with happy smiling faces and very good vibes and tunes it felt like home away from home and the baguette was delicious best food ever and for a reasonable price the workers were incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. I will becoming back.

Arch 46 Farrier Street1HOUR 15 MINS ALLOCATED TABLE TIME~ it’s is like a food challenge without being aware of it! They even asked us to vacate the table even though there were over 6 tables empty!!! To anyone BOOKING ~ COMPLETE TWO BOOKINGS BACK TO BACK ~ to allow yourself ample time to eat and drink in a relaxed way! FOOD & SERVICE 5 STARS!! It’s a shame I am having to leave such a negative review of this restaurant as the food was so amazing and staff were so friendly. I booked a table at 5.00pm when I arrived they stated they needed the table back by 6:15pm, I checked my booking as I was in shock how short the table allocation was and there it was in black and white 1 hour 15 mins. This is all they allow for a diner to read the menu, order, eat, and drink. It simply isn’t long enough we had one round of drinks and mains and didn’t even have time to have the deserts or a second round of drinks. According to the email booking (attached) “We have a leave time in place to ensure all tables are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before the next sitting. We really appreciate your co-operation at the moment to ensure the health and safety of all our customers and staff.” I have never been to a restaurant with such a short leave time 2 hours is the norm but an 1hour 15 mins is impossible to have a relaxed meal or catch up with friends. The place was half empty but at 6:20pm the staff came over and asked us to leave as we were over our allocated time (I found this rather insulating especially after we had spent over £60). We had literally just finshed eating and still had drinks left and were about to order another round of drinks so it really was there lost as we went to an alternative bar. After spending £60 in the burger shop between 2 people I felt like they had got our money and were ushering us out the door so they could squeeze more people in and drain more money from them. An 1hour 15mins Isn’t long enough for a table allocation the restaurant needs to urgently review this as they have lost a customer in both myself and freind as we won’t be returning.
