Watched Opera .. Barber of Seville Coventry Showcase last night Tuesday 3rd June 6.30pm. Beyond wonderful Production streamed from Met.. Spectacular performances. Comfortable seats. But real shame not many people in audience. We felt we were actually at the Met itself... Pleasant service from staff member serving tea and coffee on arrival. Helpful young lady doing some cleaning. Great experience. Thank you

We went to see Stitch and Lilo ( with our granddaughter) and Mission Impossible (not with the granddaughter lol) The Final Reckoning, this past week. One of our chairs was not working reclining etc. A member of staff came along straight away, and after a few minutes fixed the problem .He was courteous and smiled when the chair was fixed. Such a pleasant attitude when so many people act as if they don't want to be at work these days. The films were good too 👌

Great cinema. Just watched Dune part 2 on their XPlus screen. Nice comfortable reclining seats, good quality screen and sound system, well worth the extra couple of quids in my opinion. This was my second visit to Showcase and I'm fairly impressed. Polite friendly service, clean and tidy presentation, including the toilets. Quality viewing experience. It gets a thumbs up from me.

They also have a full Costa store and a selection of gelatos, sundaes, and shakes from Disotto's. * Picture Quality: The cinema has high-quality screens. * Sound: The cinema features Dolby Digital sound. Some screens have Dolby Atmos. * Other Features: The cinema has 14 screens, including XPlus. * Bonus: It offers free parking, hearing assistance, autism-friendly screenings, subtitled screenings, audio description, and wheelchair spaces. All over it was good experience.

Hmm, a showcase cinema. Well, it's a good place to watch films if that's your fancy. They have reclining leather seats that almost, but not quite, feel comfortable as you consume your unbelievably expensive sweets.

Best cinema in Coventry by far. I would not go anywhere else. It’s a little more expensive than other places but what you get in terms of screen size, audio and clarity from the speakers and the seats are out of this world comfy. So never fear as if the films awful, have a nap! I’ve napped through a couple horrendous films and felt refreshed leaving!

Turned up to watch a movie and the doors were locked and they wouldn’t open them to buy a ticket for the advertised movie

Comfy seats without paying extra! The one thing I wish Cineworld had. Not a five star because you can hear the audio from the other cinema rooms and hear other movies, especially if you're watching a quiet movie. Surrounded by local amenities (Tesco, KFC, Costa) for convenience. Also not a five star, since food is a bit expensive! There's no combo meals or anything, you just have to get things separately.

Fantastic cinema and staff. A manager named Claire took a panicked phone call from me after I sent a family member and child with tickets id incorrectly booked for the day before. Immediately went to the booking office and sorted for them, no fuss, no issue, no drama. Massively grateful and will certainly be my cinema of choice going forward owing to this one great experience. Thank you again.

Very comfortable seating , even though we had to sit on the front row as every sest was taken even though we booked a week in advance to see The Chosen.

Showcase does have better seating and facilities than Cineworld and Vue. Sound system is much superior

Good cinema overall. Staff are helpful, cinema is clean and there are no issues with the screens themselves. Could do with more vegan food options, but other local cinemas have this issue too. However, I tend to only attend this cinema if a film I want to see isn’t showing elsewhere because 1) the seats are leather, which I know many people like but I do not due to the animal rights issues and 2) there are very bright lights on the stairs in the screens, which can be distracting and hurt your eyes a bit when you’re trying to watch a film in an otherwise dark room.

The best seats ever. So comfortable, so I fell asleep 😴 😄 Massive space for legs, so if anyone wants to walk there is no problem at all. Standard seats are much better than, for example VIP Vue seats. Tasty food, modern design, free car park.

The cinema plus or X screen is decent! nice reclining chairs and a massive screen, sound quality top notch, it's a shame showcase staff have to clean up after all the messy people who use the cinema, and leave rubbish everywhere but I guess that's just common for cinemas,

Went to see Dogman with my son, he loved it. Lovely and clean cinema!! Film stated promptly!

Great venue with the most comfortable seats

Immaculately clean cinema foyer and screens, with everything very well organised and great seating. Experience ruined by other customers using phones throughout the whole film. I'm unsure what the solution is but it really does ruin the (expensive) trip out... Even occasional checks by staff for bright screens would help!

First time I'd been in a long time to showcase. Sweet popcorn was so bland like they had only put half plain n half sweet. And the coke tasted like it was more water then syrup

Comfy sits, good quality video and audio, but the popcorn.....not cold, probably made the previous day. Instead of making 1 ton of popcorn to "have it ready", how about you make some to get you started and keep the machines going while you start selling? As they're meant to be used.

It was cold in the cinema. One disabled toilet not open and the other disabled toilet was not very clean

Seats no longer squeak( bonus), X plus is great, but as of my post 3 months ago, the coffee machine is still broken. What's the point of having a Costa in store if you can't get a coffee?

Was hesitant to spend almost double what we normally spend to go see movies at Vue cinemas. But the comfort of the reclining seats and the whole site being so clean and well maintained just made for a more enjoyable viewing experience. Will be our new "go to" cinema.

I hadn't visited a cinema in a very long time but wanted to watch a movie with my friend. This was my first time at showcase and I was impressed by the recliner seats, I felt so comfortable and relaxed. Only thing I would say is people need to be considerate and not take other people's seats. Luckily as the cinema wasn't full we found other seats at the back as we didn't want to disturb others. We also ordered some hot snacks (Nachos and waffle fries) which were lovely.

If you like movies, try Xplus Cinema; its sound system is excellent. The seats are nice and very comfortable.

Not a bad place to go, the only downside is the coffee machine seems to be broken all the time. The staff say pop round the back to the Costa, but why have a mini Costa on site then get told to do that? Management or higher should buy a new machine that works, instead of trying to repair the existing one.

Went to see a live streamed ballet from London. Superb. The cinema is spacious with very comfortable adjustable seats. Really lovely cinema experience.

Travelled from Birmingham to Coventry to see Wicked with my family . Was served by a lovely lady name Chyanne who was extremely kind and was a pleasant to speak to. She recommended the best seating arrangements for the best view to watch this film. 5* customer service. Thank you for making our experience such a delight.

My favorite place to watch a movie! The reclining seats are incredibly comfortable, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a long movie. Plus, they have a great selection of snacks to choose from, making the whole experience even better.

I visited here whilst staying in a hotel for a work training course. I was blown away by how good this cinema was. The screen was huge. The sound was amazing. All of the seats were reclining armchairs. I went on Monday and it only cost me £8. I have not come back so happy from a night out for ages.

Went to the autism screening for moana 2 with my autistic 11 yr old cousin. He frequents this cinema with autism screens typically in the same screen. He was very excited and ran to the toilets then stood at the screen door waiting for me to come. The manager ronnie came and told me if I can’t control him I need to leave as he’s running in the screens. He wasn’t he ran to the toilet and was waiting for me. He was well behaved he just couldn’t contain his excitement so wanted to move which is common in autism he was not bothering anybody he was just simply excited and knew where he was going as he’s been previously. Ronnie is extremely rude and needs educating on autism and the traits especially whilst hosting autism screens. Incredibly rude and uneducated. Other staff were lovely.

I visited this cinema the other day to watch a movie. As I was walking past, I noticed that the popcorn was already in pre-boxed containers, ready for customers to purchase. I found this practice unhygienic and wondered what would happen if a customer wanted mixed popcorn and it tasted unpleasant due to the unpleasant taste of the pre-boxed popcorn.

Generally, it is a really nice cinema but the toilets could be improved and cleaned.

Prices could be a little more reasonable but the upgrades compared to 2014 are great.

The film itself was very good. However, the experience is very overpriced. I was very disappointed that the 3 bags of popcorn we got were stale like that had been sat around for hourse. I also got my daughter a Moana reusable cup. However, they won't give you a reusable straw as that only comes with the Paddington cups! Seems to defeat the purpose of offering that cup as the paper straws just melt and are useless for a child wanting to have a drink mid way through the film. I can't believe that watching a film for a family of three with buying drinks and popcorn can come to over £80.00 including the 10% discount you get through their insider app. If the popcorn was fresh and the promotional cups came with 3veythjng that were needed, it wouldn't have been so bad!

This is definitely the way to watch movies!!!

I do not usually bother writing reviews on google as can usually not be bothered, but i had to write about our bad experience last night at the showcase cinema, as me as a disabled man, my wife and my son who has just turned 15. We were small mindedly turned away from watching venom last dance, as we did not have a birth certificate or a passport for my son. The staff were very rude and ruined a young boys birthday celebration with his parents we took a taxi to the cinema and had to arrange a baby sitter for my one year old daughter. we were left out in the cold for 2 hours and had to go to skydome odeon in the end which we had no issues whatsoever the staff treated us with respect there at the skydome so in the end we ended up having a good night showcase cinema i have used your cinema for years but you was disgusting the way you treated my familly last night and will not be coming back again

Disappointed with the size of the screen for Gladiator 2 (first few days of release); also the screen itself hard dark corners on one side. Furthermore, the manager is difficult and couldn’t manage a refund properly, eventually it worked.

Went to see Gladiator II in the Xplus screen and it was great! Seating set out in a way that means viewing is not impeded (even for short people like me) and the added bonus that the seating is a huge, comfy recliner. The food was fresh and good quality with fast service. Only downside was all the litter bins overflowing.

I recently visited this cinema and was really impressed with the overall experience. The ambience is fantastic—modern, clean, and welcoming. The seats are incredibly comfortable, with recliners available for every viewing spot, making it perfect for long movies. The only downside is that the shows tend to start 15-25 minutes later than the scheduled time, which can be a bit frustrating if you're on a tight schedule. Other than that, it's a great place to enjoy a film in comfort!

Paddington 3 - brilliant. Overpriced sugar - awful.

Comfy seats, good sound generally but quite alot of noise transmitted from the next door film, especially noticeable in the quiet bits. Freezing cold in there so wrap up warm. Such a shame the ticket guy was sooo unhelpful.

A large cinema on the outskirts of the city. Plenty of parking with a KFC, Taco Bell, Nandos and a pub within the vicinity. Loads of screens and choice. Every visit I have been greeted to the sight of a clean cinema and comfy chairs. Definitely worth obtaining the Insider card for a half price ticket on a Monday evening.

Wasn't very happy with the quality the popcorn I paid £8 for, it tasted awful, first time I've visited this cinema wont be ordering again on my next visit

For my volunteer group, I organised a private screening, the first time I've ever done one. Veronika and her team were very friendly, prepared and accommodating for us. Lots of parking at the location. Cinema is very clean and tidy. A five star experience.

I never knew about Showcase Cinema until my friend told me about it yesterday. He took me there to watch a Tamil movie yesterday, and let me tell you frankly, there is no way I’m going to any other theatre. All the seats are reclining seats and all the food and drinks are very cheap. Great visuals and sound effects. Absolutely amazing 🤩

My Go-to place for cinema in Coventry. The staff are lovely and friendly and happy to give their opinions on movies if asked. You can get beer there which pairs perfectly with nachos and Popcorn. All the seats are leather and recline and help to provide the perfect movie experience. 10/10 for me

Came here yesterday with family to watch the new Joker film. Cinema is very spacious with plenty of food and drink selection. Tickets were very decently priced due to the deal they run on Mondays. Haven't been here in over a decade but would definitely visit again! Very good experience!
