Great cinema, great staff, great location

Not been the showcase for a long time we booked tickets for the xplus cinema really enjoyed it will come again

Love this cinema for the seating as the most comfortable one we have found - just like being at home.

Clean cinema, comfy seats - at least in the different screens I've sat in, and the xlplus screen is fantastic.

Hadn't been there in years. What an improvement! The screen rooms were smaller but so much the better for it. Large leather comfy adjustable seats with soooo much leg room and cup holders.....what's not to like! (Maybe could add a compartment somewhere for popcorn to go 🤷‍♀️) Prices of tickets and snacks are typical for the cinema these days, but there is a Tescos nearby if you want to buy your own to sneak in! There's also a bar if you want a drink before your film. Toilets were clean, but need checking, as some didn't have toilet roll in the ladies. A few places to eat in around the cinema (Pizza hut, Nandos, Taco Bell), but they can get very busy and so it's sensible to book in advance, with the exception of KFC. Loads of free parking.

Good cinema. Better than odeon.

Highlight is the lovely recliner seats for standard tickets.

Amazing cinema. We are very lucky to have it. I love film and the cinema experince with suround sound and It's emersiveness. The level of luxury and comfort level is almost ridicuous. My only negative is there's not a lot done when people are using their phones or talking during the film. Please stop this.

Such a comfortable cinema, the reclining seats make it way better than the Vue, atmosphere is great, staff are attentive and the whole experience was fantastic.

This is an amazing place for a cinema there is alot of different places you can go after watching a movie. Talking about movies I have been here alot but recently I watched Deadpool and wolverine. The experience was amazing as you go in you can get all your drinks and treats after that you walk up to a staff member and they scan your code Which then they tell you what screen you will be at and what seats. This cinema is amazing for wheelchair access and if friendly for people with disabilities. Over all the seats are comfy and the screens are big I would recommend this to everyone for sure. When I go next I will add my photos as I lost my other ones

Had to wait 10 mins as they were getting the place ready, not sure what that involved as there was a toffee still on my seat from the previous person which I got on my skirt.

Really decent cinema, been a few times, great set up in terms of snacks and tickets too, and I've never seen a massive queue here.

A beautiful setting for viewing movies and the service was great too! Food was alright but honestly not the greatest, but that doesn’t stop the cleanliness and enjoyment of the theatre as a whole. Awesome place!

Kids enjoyed movie, more expensive than Vue

Comfortable seats. But the lights along the aisles which remain on duirng the movie are too bright / dazzling. And 30mins of ads from the advertised start times is excessive!

Highly recommended for movies, Xplus, food and drink choices, free parking and comfortable seats.

The best seats ever. So comfortable, so I fell asleep 😴 😄 Massive space for legs, so if anyone wants to walk there is no problem at all. Standard seats are much better than, for example VIP Vue seats. Tasty food, modern design, free car park.

VIP seats were Not Recliner seats!

I sat in a very plush reclining seat. I was the only person to watch this particular movie at this time.

I can confidently say that showcase cinema has topped the Odeon Luxe for me! The recliner seats are way comfier and it’s just a better vibe over all. Just wish the prices were cheaper or they did a package like limitless at odeon as I would visit more often.

The cinema itself is very nice, but prices have gone through the roof. What was once a cheap afternoon out has become an expensive one - almost £6 for a soft drink is so scandalous that I nearly choked on it.

The Super X Mega screen with the big seats and extra leg room is totes worth it. If you could order snacks and drinks that got delivered to you during the movie that would be double awesome. (maybe via an app, nudge nudge, you can have that one for free)

Comfortable seats, spacious cinema. Outside before entering the cinema it smells bad, but inside everything is ok.

All the screens provide really comfortable seats and great picture and sound. It's worth paying that little bit extra for the xplus screens though as they take it to the next level. The snacks and drinks are more expensive than you can get them in shops but this is how cinemas survive so please do pick something up on your way in.

Took my grandon to see If 2.35 showing really quiet ,clean and I only dosed I twice . Lovely film .

Good cinema but the concessions are a rip off. No prices on them until you pay. 2 packs of haribo £7. And across the road at Tesco they are £1 each. Disgraceful. Lesson learnt.

Tried the XPlus screen and were not disappointed in the screen, the sound, and definitely not the seating - lots of legroom. Worth the extra cost for a film that you're looking forward to. The place itself is also clean and tidy. Can't wait to be back again!

The chairs are comfy and recline, which is a big plus. Prices are a fair bit higher than average. Using their loyalty card makes them more bearable, with discounts on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. These are the only times I'd even consider coming, as otherwise the prices are too high to be acceptable. It's worth noting that the way the loyalty card system is implemented makes group bookings a massive faff. Seems to have the longest pre-film advertisements of any cinema I've ever been to, regularly reaching a full 30 minutes (I've counted). Tends to get a very good selection of films, including foreign films which I do appreciate. As usual, snacks are ludicrously over-priced and any sensible person would buy their own from a shop before they come here.

Really good time was had here. Wish there were less adverts before the film, but still enjoyed myself.

Love the cinema experience its pricey but if you want to enjoy that one film that has to seen at the cinema id always choose Showcase. Could do with a deep clean and some chairs reupholstered but better than their rival Odeon in my opinion..

The sound is good it can be louder, but the image ... I think they use lower image brightness like 80% Xplus specially...

Always quick, professional service and the cinema rooms are always clean and tidy with great seats. The viewing experience is definitely worth the extra money it costs compared to other cinemas around. Plus if you download the app, you can save money on certain days or gain loyalty points to help towards snacks, tickets etc. I have been multiple times and would always come back.

Superb seating but so expensive it's ridiculous. Nearly £60 for 3 adults and 2 kids. Cinema had about 20 people in in for Kung fu panda 4. Pick n Mix cost £25 5 drinks were nearly the same. So best part of £120 to watch a 90 min film. Rip off

I love this cinema it is local and the environment is pleasant and clean. I just hope they don't close it down like all the shops in the area!

We have been here many times as a family watching great movies however the last time we went the seats were dirty which made the experience uncomfortable. Let me know when you hire a cleaner, I might come back

Great cinema. Just watched Dune part 2 on their XPlus screen. Nice comfortable reclining seats, good quality screen and sound system, well worth the extra couple of quids in my opinion. This was my second visit to Showcase and I'm fairly impressed. Polite friendly service, clean and tidy presentation, including the toilets. Quality viewing experience. It gets a thumbs up from me.

Attended silver screening today £5 seats for the over 60yrs on a Monday, great but no £1 coffee and a biscuit as advertised with the deal , felt disappointed

£19 for two Monday 2pm tickets. Know wonder cinema's are struggling. Wouldn't mind if we were peak Sat night

Long time since we've been to the cinema. Remembering itchy, fabric, foldaway seats of yesteryear was reluctant to pay to go to the flix when you can stream a movie not long after its release, however we had just finished watching Dune and Dune part2 just came out so went to see it. Booked tickets in advance (never done before) so was able to choose seats. Scanned QR code that came via email and was directed to our screening. Lots of snack and drink options. I like that the soft drinks are self serve unlimited once you pay and there were food/drink bundles available. Staff were cheerful and nice. There is a bar which we didnt use this visit. Toilets were clean but as with most public use places some people had decided to either block or not flush after themselves and some of the hand dryers didnt work. Love the reclining leather seats in the actually auditorium as it gives a cleaner more relaxed feel. Volume was very loud! You could actually feel the vibration through the seat and floor but it was a really good visit and we cant wait for Dune part3! Will go again - in total for 2 adults including drinks, popcorn and tickets - spent about £40.

Went to see Madame Web on a Sunday. Very clean and tidy. Really comfortable with the adjustable reclining chairs and cupholders The cinema is expensive for snacks and tickets but they all are.

State of the art multiplex. Fabulous facilities, luxurious reclining seats.

Positive: Nice to have fully reclining seats across the whole screen rather than paying extra for premium seats that don’t necessarily have the best view. Note: seats on the very back row don’t lean back as far and the seats on next to the wheelchair space designed for a carer are badly in need of upholstery. Negative: Annoying that you now need an actual CEA card to get a free ticket for your essential companion if you’re disabled.

Lovely place to come and watch your favourite up and coming films Reclining seats and plenty of snack available at snack bar opposite the reception. Staff are friendly and attentive Plenty of parking with nandos and taco bell very near by.

Love the Showcase great la-z-boy seats to stretch out in and the temperature is always comfortable.

Our go-to cinema when in Coventry Well worth it for the seats, plenty of space to not feel crowded, and the slush flavours are great!

Chairs are nicer now they have had a revamp. Sometimes find the food is overpriced but like the fact they don't stop you bringing your own. I have an insider card so always helps reduce price for us when we visit.

Nice cinema. I worked here when it first opened in the 90s. The seats are great and really comfortable. I just saw Godzilla here. There were some loud teens in with us but someone went to get security and they kind of shut up. Booking online is a slight pain if you aren’t registered or a member. The £1 booking fee is a little galling. I’ll still give it 5 stars as the seats are nice. I think I dropped off watching Avatar 2, last year. Comfortable….

Watched the new Ferrari film.Film was ok cinema was clean and tidy all in all very good but if you're picking the bill up and there's a few of you can work out a bit pricey
