Delhi dining in Birmingham

Very disappointing experience. The salad was completely soaked, clearly having sat in a fridge for several days, and tasted off. The naan bread wasn’t fresh either, dry from being pre-cooked. As for the tikka sauce, it was the worst I’ve ever tasted—and I’ve had countless over the years. It’s frustrating to write this after paying good money for a meal, but I won’t be returning.

Now called Mira as it changed hands 9 months ago. First time we've been as our indian had closed down. Won't be looking else where everything was so good the food was amazing the service was great. Waiter was chatty but also left us to enjoy our food. And they cared grately about my nut allergy

i ordered, 3 chicken balti with potatoes, a chicken vindaloo and a portion of rice, which, according to the prices, i added it up to 30.30, how did it come to 38.80 and then the delivery guy tells me it is 40 quid? not only that, there is more oil in the curry than anything else, about 1 piece between the whole 3 tubs of chicken balti, it was all potato and that tasted nothing like chicken, its hard and, no idea what it is, but it is not chicken, and the sauce, just tastes of oil, wow, how much oil did they use in this, a litre?, i doubt i will get my money back but i will not be ordering from these again, nah, a total waste of 40 quid edit, 1 of my mates tried to eat 1 of the tubs of balti with chips so the 40 quid was not a complete waste, he is now in the bathroom throwing up and my vindaloo, not spicy, very oily and it had a pice of erm "chicken" the size of the top of my thumb and 4 pieces of potato that was not much bigger, we are not happy

Great as always. Our favourite place to go! Forgot the potato’s in the curry which was like devastating!!! Didn’t hit the same.

Bajhis were stodgy and chewy. Poppadoms were chewy, not crispy. Food was sub standard for the price.

food was disgusting and cold. poppadoms stale butter chicken no taste and recipe different.the grilled meat had a horrible smell. will not order again!

Fairly quick and incredibly tasty. Got the poppadom, starter, main and rice deal and both were excellent.

This is no longer Delhi Dining. Different name,different packaging,differently cooked food. Asked Just Eat to refund the awful 2 items from the menu and heard nothing. Not sure how a new business can use the old business name? If the items were the same and it was a name change I'd understand but literally everything is different and prepared differently.

Now called Mia's Kitchen, food was excellent, went last Sunday 3 courses for 14.95, will go again for sure, staff very friendly

They have become Miah’s kitchen Ltd recently. We’ve already visited in person only this week, but I wasn’t feeling great tonight so decided on a takeaway, I was desperate for their food again so called up and was told to order through here. Food was amazing, hot, tasty, all there. Highly recommend. Thank you. Jessica x

Everything tasted freshly cooked and thouroughly enjoyed our meals. Their mint sauce dip is the best we’ve tasted by far. Will be back soon.

Sadly this place seems to have gone downhill. Lamb balti and veg rogan josh swimming in ghee, under-spiced and bland. Used to be one of the best veg curries around, but this time they had been stewed and turned to a mush. The paneer tikka was under flavoured and the jalfrezi sauce was watery. Even the peshwari naans had less coconut than usual. Not the worst curry around by any stretch but a massive drop from its previous high quality. Seems they have changed owners or chefs. Hopefully this was a one off but if this happens again will be looking elsewhere. Shame as this was our go to Indian for years.

Food quality is not the same as it was, spicy chips as completely changed and the overall taste in the food is very bland. it’s unfortunate as this was my number one Indian takeaway, but I guess I will be looking for a better one in the future.

This was the best takeaway around here always ordered but they must of changed owners and unfortunately it’s nowhere near what it was before the chips were shocking tasted stale won’t be ordering from here again need to find a new Indian takeaway now.

Not the same.. why do idian take away go to tikka.. This was only one that kept it originall now it's changed, don't get me wrong great customer service but the food has changed & not very nice even after a replacement.. everything shouldn't tase like a chicken tikka & the source dose 2.... have some orthentic like it use to...when u ordered a curry u got wat u ordered not just tikka with everything & the source.

I loved the Lamb Biryani today..great fluffy and tasty rice with tender pieces of lamb, no bones and the curry was rich and delish.. Fast delivery too, food arrived super early and pipping hot.. thank you!

I don’t normally write reviews but I had to for this because the food tasted amazing. First time ordering and will most definitely be ordering again! Food came early and was hot. I would recommend to anyone.

Food was really nice but I’m reluctant to order again after waiting just over 2 hours for delivery.

Pre-ordered food for 7pm, get a notification saying will be delivered 7.20, then 7.35 then tell me they've cancelled it even though they stated the order was on its way. Bit of a shambles lads

Took 2 hours for the order to arrive and we ordered from the moment the restaurant opened. The poppadoms were soggy and the food was cold. It’s a shame this happened as we liked this takeaway.

Food was tasty and nice and warm. We had an item missing but they sent the driver straight back out with it and with some extra poppadoms and sauce to make up for the wait.

Best takeaway by a mile always piping hot when it’s delivered and best tasting curry 10/10 as always.

I want a refund, the food was so late took over 2 hours from when we ordered. It was awful, the food was not great at all, and the drink was flat

Unfortunately we were charged £5 over the menu price in respect of a takeaway and when challenged they decided to say their prices were 5 years old. This was despite them sending us a new menu. Reported to Trading Standards for false advertising of prices. They also put the phone down when we called back to advise they had charged incorrectly.

Don’t order from here. Turned up to collect restaurant was closed, told food was ready tried to call the number kept disconnecting - man eventually came out of an alleyway with our food which was cold and had items missing. Chucked it away.

Food was its usual amazing standards, but from order it was an hour over from the original time promised. I actually take this as a plus though, if the restaurant is that busy it means the word is spreading about the quality of the food from this restaurant

Absolutely beautiful food. Kam is a great host and made sure our group was well looked after and attended to. The chicken tikka is soft and perfectly cooked and all the curries are spiced to perfection. The location is on a main road and the parking can be hard in busy times but you may just have to take a short walk. You can take your own alcohol.

Wow. It’s been some time since we selected a curry as a takeaway, we read reviews and finally settled with DD and they did NOT disappoint! The mixed grill was plentiful and deliciously tender, the lamb curry! Beautifully spiced and the lamb was velvety, melting in the mouth with each bite. The naan was also incredible - the keema naan stunning too! We literally sat eating away and nodding our heads in content over this meal - we will definitely be ordering here again in the future! Thanks DD!

Curries were really tasty and nice but I had a big bone in my lamb, naan was crispy and hard, spicy chips were lovely and we didn’t receive any poppadoms which was a shame as usually they are sent out from other places. Would definitely try again as the curries were so nice.

The food is incredible from this place but I won’t be ordering from here anymore, so I’m like a 5 minute drive from this restaurant but because my address is Sutton Coldfield, it’s minimum order for delivery turns from nothing too £22 which is ridiculous so unless that changes I won’t be ordering again

I ordered a mild veg bhuna from here and I'm sorry to say I had to stop eating and quickly drink a glass of water halfway through, just because it was so salty it became inedible. I have a couple of portions left but I don't think I can eat it as its packed full of salt, and sugar.
