Was staying in nearby hotel (holiday inn) working and fancied a curry. Very quick service. Food was fine. £6 for a pint of cobra. Staff friendly. Decent WiFi.

Food portion size ans taste was average. The dining experience overall was not worth the price (including service charge) they charged.

Used to be my regular for an Indian in city centre but feel like everytime I go the worse the food gets.

First time today at this restaurant and it was my daughter’s birthday. We were greeted and served today by Kamesh who was absolutely brilliant and very helpful. He helped make our lunch extra special and we cannot thank him enough. We will be back soon.

I love Indian food and having lived in Bombay, India for a year ,I always seek out an Indian restaurant that can make authentic indian cuisine.. I was very impressed with Indico as the food is as as genuine as you can get to actually living in India and having the same genuine food .. The pau baji starter brought back memories when I used to eat this at small roadside stands in Bombay and tasted the same !! . beautiful.. The food at Indico is so fresh and so tasty and gacinh an open kitchen you can see your mealsbeungm prepared.. The decor and ambience is lovely.. I will be a regular here as it really does bring back vivid memories of my long stay in Bombay ,and the good is as authentic as you will get anywhere outside of India. Well done Indico . I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful eatery to everyone that wants to experience real genuine indian cuisine. Thankyou ..

Unpleasant experience. Rude staff - from waiters to above. Person in charge of the night wasn't polite. Watered down coke, not particularly nice food. Just felt uncomfortable.

Sorry but the food was terrible and not fresh but the staff were very friendly and when one of us complained about the tast of one of the dishes they took it of the bill

Had an early supper on Monday. Fish Thali, Chicken and Lamb Biryani. All delicious. Service was good. Atmosphere - although nearly empty had a good vibe. Prefer price lower 10%, but recommend highly. Perfect location, 15 mins from Birmingham New Street station - great for a meal before the game (Aston Villa).

Delicious. I ate a butter chicken with rice and i took the Masala fries. Everything was perfect, and the Mango Lassi to finish the meal was perfectly sweet 😍😍. And the waiters here are adorable and caring. Thanks a lot for this meal.

I love spicy food and I was served here. I took a tandori chicken and it was delicious. It's the best Indian restaurant I've been in. The waiters are also very polite.

They make authentic Indian food. We had butter chicken, punjabi cholle and butter Naan. The food was delicious and the service was fast and welcoming. Enjoyed every bite and will visit next time for sure.

Met family in Birmingham as a good halfway point between our homes for a pre-Christmas lunch. Indico got it absolutely right. Table was ready, service was attentive, pleasant and relaxed, food was superb, and all at a fair price. It was altogether the really nice experience we had hoped for.

We were in Birmingham for the Frankfurt Christmas market and decided to have a meal in the evening. The restaurant felt nice and had a good vibe. We had a samosa chaat for starters which was nice. We ordered a Thali with lamb rogan josh and a chicken taka tak. Drinks, we ordered non alcoholic cocktails which was a Hara Hara and a Malabar Sunset. The food ok as it was a bit bland, in my opinion Tamatanga restaurant food is more tastier however, you can decide foe yourself. Overall good evening and great atmosphere 👌🏽

We stopped at Indico on our way to the theatre. We didn’t have a booking, and were short on time, but the team got us seated, got us drinks and food in no time and got us out the door in time to catch our show. The food was amazing and the staff were great. Would 100% recommend!

Excellent food, really good service, highly recommended. We dined during the day so a little quiet, hence 4 stars for atmosphere, but otherwise a great experience.

We ate at Indico for the first time this evening and were blown away by the amazing food and wonderful service! I have a peanut allergy and this was accommodated for with a full folder of food containing allergens and knowledge from the staff of what was safe to order. Tiya was so friendly and made great recommendations for food and cocktails and made such a positive impact to our visit. The food was the best Indian food I’ve ever had! Thank you so much!

A quick cappuccino and yogurt break at a stylish Indian restaurant was lovely. It was quiet at 2pm Friday October 2024 as I was welcomed inside by a polite helpful waitress. The drinks were full of flavour at very reasonable cost. The place was very clean, very respectable and accommodating. Very clean toilets. I wish i had the time to try the food, (something for another time). The décor is beautiful and interesting with India as its cultural historical influence. Its placement just inside the back end of the mailbox makes it more relaxing with large windows to people-watch or move towards the back for more privacy, your choice. The bar looked well stocked with gin and whiskey varieties on the menus. I'll look forward to revisiting soon. The gentleman was also kind enough to remove the service charge for my quick stay.

I had a really lovely dinner at Indico, the food came so quickly (and was yummy), and the Atithi Devo Bhava cocktail was phenomenal.

The service was great. Tia was very attentive and help. Food was hot and tasty. Definitely recommend a visit. We came from Coventry and definitely worth the trip.

Came here for the first time to try their street food and Chai. I can honestly say that their food and service was second to none. Everything that we ordered was fresh, tasty and served quickly. The waiter also confirmed that the menu is Halal.

Así que un grupo de amigos se reunió el viernes 4 de octubre para probar Indico. Reservamos una mesa temprano (5). 30 ) y realmente disfrutamos. El servicio era muy bueno, el personal era muy atento, y la comida era muy sabrosa también. Con 11 de nosotros todos probamos algo un poco diferente ... había tanto para elegir que nos llevó algún tiempo ... pero todos estábamos muy contentos con las decisiones tomadas. Lo único que esperaba era un cargo por servicio añadido a la factura, pero para 11 de nosotros, no era extorsivo (alrededor de £ 33). Realmente lo disfruté y sin duda volvería.

Went here as a party of 5, with 3 having visual impairments. We were greeted and served by Kamish. He was so friendly and polite. His attitude was so infectious! Definitely a keeper!!! We ordered the breakfast thalis and omg they were so tasty and delicious. We accompanied them with Desi masala chai which was hot and salted lasi. Thank you for the excellent food and customer service. Will definitely return to try out the lunch and evening menu next time we are in Birmingham. The decor was amazing too!

The staff is so low class and cheap mentality constantly starring at us and laughing. So awful. We would never prefer this again because of profoundly low minded staff.

Llevo un mes pasando por este lugar a la hora del almuerzo. Revisé el menú varias veces. Un montón de opciones interesantes en ella. Finalmente tuve la oportunidad hoy de venir a almorzar. El equipo era muy cálido y atento, la comida apareció en unos 10 minutos. Tenía un delicioso pollo a la parrilla Tikka Wrap y papas fritas Masala. ¡Muy sabroso! Volveré.

4 of us came to dinner at Indico mailbox. We had some starter and main courses. Foods was so delicious . we ate chichen dishes, chichen lollipos, butter chichen , chichen biryani and some naans. all are taste and freshness. Service, atmosphere was good. i will highly recomened to every one .

We did order chef’s special thali and it’s came with so much of disappointment, butter chicken was too much sour it doesn’t have any butter chicken taste init, the girl who take the order i feel like she don’t wanna take the order or ? Idk when i last time came the food was so much good tasty but this time it wasn’t good, even our stomach wasn’t feel good 😕 Hope you guys will make the food in proper way it should be.

Beautiful food and fantastic, welcoming service. Best dining experience in a while, so much so, we returned the following morning for breakfast, after dinner the previous evening. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. Prefer Indico to Tamatanga as we weren't seated too close to other diners and the service and drinks were of higher quality. Try it. We will return, thank you Indico team.

A great place to eat authentic Indian food. Situated in the Mailbox.

The atmosphere in Indico was very lively and warm. When I arrived in Indico with my friend we were greeted with warm welcomes by the staff and were seated immediately. I ordered the Blue city (£10.75) and Full Moon (£10.75) cocktails which were very lovely. I personally preferred the Full Moon more as it had more sweetness and flavour!! The Gappa Bombs (£6.95) are a must try for sure as they burst with flavour in your mouth. Also the samosas (£6.95) were very tasty too and i really recommend since I think it was my favourite dish. Although there were only 2 portions of samosas on the plate, they were very delicious and had chickpeas too on the dish. The Fish Pakora (£7.95) was nice, i was looking forward to that dish the most however it just did not stand out too much for me since I felt like it lacked a bit of flavour. I wish it had more seasonings as it almost was like fried battered fish. However it did come with a sauce which elevated the dish a bit more. For the dessert, I had the Gulab Jamun (£6.45) which was a bit disappointing. I thought that it was not worth the price as it was 2 small portions of “fried dumplings”, and the description felt like it was more hyped up than what it actually was in reality. I recommend the brownie which is the same price if wanting to get desserts. Apart from that our waitress, Tiya, was very lovely and patient with me and my friend the entire evening. She had constantly ensured that everything was all okay and that our drinks and food were all delivered on time and if we had needed anything else. Also she was the star of the night, as she was super friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our stay! You rock Tiya!! :) Overall, I would strongly recommend visiting Indico as they have a great service and tasty food. Atmosphere: 5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Service 5/5

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Great service with the team listening to the customer and supporting each at service. Food was excellent, with each of us choosing one of the Thali dishes, everyone enjoyed the broader set of tastes that allowed, for me outstanding were the garlic naan and the lentil Dahl. Both of which I might not have tried if I'd just gone 'starter & main' please. Cocktails were very tasty and well priced compared to other places. We all look forward to a return visit or visiting the other sites. Thanks all.

Absolutely astounding restaurant. A very warm welcome upon entering, the staff always served with a smile. Then, the "authentic" delicious Indian food was served. Lamb succulent and exploding with delicious spices cooked to perfection, just melting in the mouth. A place in the heart of Birmingham. Go and excite your taste buds, you won't regret it!
