The best restaurants in Wiltshire South West

I had a great experience from the start. The staff were welcoming and polite. The food was of a great standard and a competitive price. We went for the adults carvery which is fresh off my hot counter similar to Toby Carvery and the kids had a kids carvery. Please see my menu photos for further costs. The entrance is wheelchair friendly and they have the correct facilities to match. Definitely will be going again

We stayed in Bradford 6 nights and this was the only restaurant we ate dinner at more than once. The ambiance inside and out is charming. Our service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing, absolutely wonderful. Our meals included starters and main courses and all were excellent. The pizzas are large enough to be split between a couple, and supplemented with starter(s). Entree portions are not too large. Everything was very fresh and prepared perfectly. Sadly we had no room for dessert. Great for couples looking for a romantic night out or groups. We hope to return!

This was my first visit to Leonardo's. It is a family run restaurant, which I like. The service was good and the food very good. My friend and I ordered from the lunch time menu, which had a number of options and was reasonable priced. The restaurant was clean and tidy. I will go back when I am next in Salisbury, book early to avoid disappointment.

Had dinner and drinks at The Silks last night while touring the South West. As soon as entered the bar, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, and the lady that served us was lovely. Very friendly atmosphere and service. The meal was great, we had the scotch egg starter, followed by double cheeseburger and hand cut chips, and winter vegetable and pearl barley stew, both delicious, with apple crumble and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Again delicious, definitely the best restaurant apple crumble ever!! Very good value for money. And they allow dogs. Thank you to everyone there, especially Thomas, for being so accommodating. Hope to see you if/when we come again. Would definitely recommend!

Great food. Bring your own booze, but soft drinks are available.

We celebrated a family special occasion with the 5 course tasting menu. Daisy was very friendly, helpful and accommodating when making the necessary arrangements including dietary requirements and on the night all staff were wonderful and made us feel very comfortable indeed. We were fortunate to have the private dining room which made it even more delightful. The food was simply amazing and it is difficult to pick a favourite dish. Wine pairing was well selected and the staff very knowledgeable. We can’t wait for our next visit!

Absolutely amazing spa day for me and my wife today with wonderful staff, amazing surroundings and some of the best treatments we have ever had. Couldn’t recommend this place enough and we are so lucky to live as close as we are to Bishopstrow.

Went on Mother’s Day in the evening and me and my friend just wanted to have one of the amazing desserts outside with a coffee. They were so busy and the lady who welcomed us was so lovely and friendly.

Very lovely spot for authentic Thai food. The atmosphere is welcoming, the decor and furniture brings you to Siam, and the smiley faces of the staff make you want to be here. The food is delicious and hearty and the prices are decent. There is nothing not to like here.

They did their best . The room was comfortable but dated, not bad, for the price.

We have never been to this restaurant before but after seeing some positive reviews we thought we would try it for lunch. The restaurant had plenty of parking , which is always a plus , and the food on the menu looked great . As I need a gluten and diary free meal this can sometimes be tricky , but I ordered the burger and fries , and it was hands down one of the best burgers I have had. Really tasty and great portion size . The service was also excellent, and we had a lovely time. I would highly recommend this place , and will be going back for sure .

Stopped here on way home lovely little pub and EPIC Sunday Roast Lamb!
