Beautiful hotel in stunning and modern grounds. I stayed in a suite which was a self contained bungalow which was beautiful. The shower was also a steam room and the room came with a hot tub and outdoor bath. The room itself was large and well furnished.

I recently booked a hotel at the request of regular customers. Unexpectedly received mega positive feedback - they are delighted with the service and plan to return again. I would like to add that the booking process was simple, and the hotel team advised on all possible and impossible services. Special thanks to Richard.

I can't comment on bedrooms as I've not stayed. I recently explored joining as a member and the ladies in the spa couldn't have been more helpful. It is such a wonderful place to come even for an hour or so to just relax. Everywhere is so clean and the newly refurbished ladies changing rooms are just lovely. All staff are helpful, polite and so kind. Other rooms available to members are cosy and relaxing.

Spa day, facilities and staff wonderful. A lovely setting, the grounds are amazing. I had a facial massage and back massage. The massage was very relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble. Prosecco brought to us in the outdoor jacuzzi was a nice touch. The food at lunch also very tasty and well presented. Afternoon tea also, in the lovely rooms of the house. Will definitely be visiting again.

Having recently used the Bishopstrow Hotel for an onsite business meeting I would like to provide some feedback as it is not often that I come across such a brilliant hotel and service as we received here. I use hotels right across the globe for onsite meetings and I really found Bishopstrow excellent. From the very start of contacting Bishopstrow the communication I received from Hazel and the team was exceptional. I felt confident that they have really understood my brief and they went above and beyond to make sure that everything ran smoothly. They were proactive in getting the information right and I felt we had an excellent relationship from the kick off. When we arrived, the hotel was undergoing some improvements to the SPA but we were not disrupted by this at all. We had a really fabulous meeting space called the Hideaway which was nestled at the back of the hotel and everything worked beautifully in terms of equipment. The room was really cosy with a log burning fire which really helped the team to relax into the meeting and of course keep us warm. The bedrooms were wonderful too – spacious, stylish and clean with a decent working area and beautiful bathrooms. The hotel is set around some stunning grounds which is good to grab some fresh air and take a walk. My boss was able to bring her two dogs along as it was dog friendly (they even have an enclosed doggy agility area which was a surprise and a really nice touch). The food was great - we had dinner in the library, and everyone really enjoyed the seasonal offerings. I know that you can eat outside in a glass pod (which looks a lot of fun) however we were just that bit too big of group, but the pods look good and if I get the chance to return I would love to eat in one. From a London based company my neck was on the line with this hotel as I was asking international, and London based employees to travel to the UK and then down to Warminster. I was concerned that the travel time would not be worth the hotel. I was proven wrong as EVERY single member of the team were delighted with the hotel and they really felt like it was something different and nice to be out of London – which made for a relaxed and successful meeting. The travel time from London is approx. 1 hour and so it really wasn’t too bad. I would suggest that anyone looking for a really great hotel with fantastic meeting spaces and accommodation to try the Bishopstrow Hotel & Spa as the service was second to none – nothing was a problem and you come away feeling rather spoilt! Thank you to Hazel and the team again for helping me to have a successful meeting somewhere different for a change!

We were treated to afternoon tea by friends and what a lovely, unhurried, friendly and high quality experience it was. The setting is lovely and the food superb. Nothing was too much trouble - not that we caused any. At least I hope not 😉

Would give 0 if possible. Booked a spa day last week for friend and I. Was told it was extra than price shown on web page, as was a weekend. Was told confirmation would be sent by email. Two days later, still no confirmation, so rang to check. Finally after call, an hour later details came through. We weren't offered any menus to peruse for either lunch or afternoon tea,so we decided on the latter. At NO POINT, were we told we would have to use a porto cabin, outside in a courtyard, away from spa, to change etc. On arrival we were given towels and slippers and told to go across courtyard to cabins to change, then report back to reception. The cabin was unlocked, only ONE hairdryer on wall, for everyone to use. Nowhere to sit to do hair/make up. No heater and door that opens to outside, so no modesty when changing to people walking by or coming in and out in cold etc. We told lockers extremely small so bags would have to be left behind reception! After seeing this appalling state, we opted to leave. We had driven almost 90 minutes for this! Will never return and after seeing other reviews, glad we didn't stay. It appears you just want to book people in, not disclose facilities and take their money. Disgusting.

Had a nice day at the spa with my friends but the pools and surrounding areas are quite tired and there wasn't enough loungers for all the people wanting to relax. Also on arrival it took ages to get forms filled out and wait for someone to show us around so it was nearly an hour till we got to use the actual spa. We had some lovely food that came with the spa package and to start with the service was good but once we had our drinks, everything became very slow and we just wanted to get back to the pool and jacuzzi.

First time at this pub. Really friendly staff and locals. Good beer at really good prices. Nipped in for one and stayed for several in this traditional English pub. Will be back next year.

Exceptional, as always. Regularly get a take away and the food quality and flavours are delicious. Had one this evening, spot on from the ‘no fresh coriander please’ couple. Always a treat, thank you
