A friendly pub serving classic pub food.

Nice pub, lovely Managers and should do well. Just a shame about the location.

Pop up Caribbean food. Smells unbelievable, tastes even better. Every Tuesday, get down and fill your boots.

Yeah I went to this pub when I stayed in calne,the food was amazing especially the Sunday lunch,I would thoroughly recommend it

Lovely pop and very very down to Earth

Gave a 4 as no place gets a 5. Popped in on off chance, billboard outside said full English for 8quid, so rude not to try one, and very nice it was too, asked for runny eggs and got runny eggs. Drombar was nice, served with a good head on it. Child and dog friendly. So just the place to come as a family. Will come again, no doubt about that.

The Pig and Whistle has a spacious bar area, conservatory looking out at the large garden. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday and, serves a good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Roast dinners are available on Wednesdays and Sundays. Worth paying a visit.

Good local pub that serves great food expecially the Sunday roast and midweek steak special. All that's missing is a decent Marlborough Sauvignon and some guest IPA'S

The landlady was bright and cheerful and made us welcome. Her little dog took a shine to me. The meal was very appetising and the cool Doombar pint was just perfect. The service was good. My friend was impressed as he was able to mix and match with the menu.

Such a lovely pub- felt so relaxed the second we stepped in the door, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We had our drinks out in the wonderful beer garden as it was such a lovely day and we were spoilt for choice with seating- plenty of benches (out the front also) and a lovely sheltered area with big comfy chairs it was brilliant. We decided to try the Sunday Lunch but takeaway to enjoy at home and it did not disappoint!! Great portion size and everything was delicious, we will definitely be back to check out the rest of the menu.

Had a takeaway roast beef dinner today it was delicious well presented and best I have had in a long time . plenty of everything and beef was just how we like it. Will be going back most Sundays five stars well deserved. and the good thing is I only had 2 plates and cutlery to wash up

Had a fabulous Roast dinner take away on Mothers day. We ordered 8 meals and they were all brilliant. The vegetables were all fresh and cooked perfectly. Proper Homemade Roasts and Yorkshires and tender Beef. The value is exceptional. Will be back again!
