Went on Mother’s Day in the evening and me and my friend just wanted to have one of the amazing desserts outside with a coffee. They were so busy and the lady who welcomed us was so lovely and friendly.

My husband and I enjoyed our meal this evening. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodated my allergies. We were able to relax and enjoy the food.

We went to ASK in Marlborough last night and had such a lovely evening. Atmosphere was great, food was delicious, service was excellent. Leah was our server and she was so lovely, informative about the menu when we asked and so friendly. Our daughter finds it hard talking to people she doesn’t know but she was immediately put at ease talking to Leah. We will definitely go back again.

Went on a Sunday for late lunch. Ordered a selection of starters and a shared a pizza. Only problem we experienced was one of the starters was wrong but it was quickly rectified. Overall was happy with the food, and the olive oil was great.

Lovely food, lovely environment, lovely staff; what's more to love? I suggest the Chicken Lecca Lecca starter, it's unbelievable. We were served by Toby, who was very friendly & helpful, and the food was prepared very fast! We had a brilliant evening, thank you!

Rowan was top waiter definitely one of the best ive experienced.

Had a lovely meal this evening. The food was great as was the service from Piers (I hope I have his name right). He was new but he was very helpful and friendly.

Service was fantastic, felt very warm upon being greeted. When I randomly started breakdancing not a single person stared, something most restaurants don't offer. The pizza was fantastic despite my intolerance to lactose

Had lunch with the family reality busy but the food still came out quickly. Toby was our waiter and was very knowledgeable on the menu.

Came here for a night out and valentines meal with my other half. Was very easy to book in and was given a number of available slots. Then received a text to confirm that we could still make it which is nice. Greeted by a really nice waiter who dealt with the other half's gluten intolerance really well, was sat and ready to order very swiftly. Ordered food via waiter, who gave us good recommendations as we had never been before! There is also the chance to order through the app which can be done at any point throughout the meal! Food came quick, tasty and good portions, wait staff were awesome and very attentive! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

We had an excellent meal at Ask in Marlborough. Our server, Alex, was friendly and knowledgeable, recommending some delicious dishes - the pesto dough balls were loved by all! Service was prompt and we all left well fed and happy.

Fantastic customer care provided by Rowan, Toby and team at Marlborough with patience and flexibility demonstrated to accommodate the needs of a guest in our party recently recovering from serious surgery Portion size was adapted perfectly to ensure the customer’s needs were met discreetly and sensitively to ensure full enjoyment of all parties at the table. We felt very welcomed and it was wonderful to note that in this competitive climate some staff still value customer care and the asset of the personal touch to ensure an eating out experience is maximised for everyone at the table ! Visited around 2.15pm. Restaurant had approx 6-7 other tables full. Fantastic food, super speedy and friendly service. I've been before and will certainly be visiting again!

To say I was disappointed was an understatement… the food was very poor , undercooked prawns and the lasagne was like a ready meal you could buy in a supermarket… hence to say I will never eat here again … our waitress was lovely but other than that a real let down in every way and definitely not worth the money we paid 😕😕😕…. Would not recommend!!!

We popped in to have a quick rest from Christmas shopping, a drink and a pud only, but stayed for two drinks rather than one and had starters with our dessert! The service was brilliant and so helpful, they made my daughter feel really comfortable and spent time chatting, not just serving! A great experience and we will definitely be back!! We were served by Rowan who was friendly and welcoming, offering advise on our choices, very attentive and welcoming, we could not have been happier.

My friend and I enjoyed a pleasant lunch in Marlborough ASK. The service was very good, attentive but not over the top. The food was plentiful, I had crayfish wiggly tagliatelle, and my friend had carbonara, both big bowlfuls!! The tiramasu and Bailey's were delicious too! Definitely worth a second visit!

Great service, catering really well for my gluten intolerance

Came in at 3pm on Saturday with my partner and her two children having booked. One table was occupied. We were greeted by a man who was looking somewhere else as he said something to us. I said "were you speaking to us?" Not sure what he replied. He directed us to a table a foot away from the till and bar staff entrance. I asked if we could be moved. I said I felt too close to the till and bar (we would've been walked past about 10 times a minute). I suggested a table nearby (still in an area that looked filthy as it hadn't been cleaned or tidied after what had obviously been a party. It looked like a bomb had gone off!). "That's been booked" said the complete idiot. I replied that I had booked too! Reluctantly we were seated there. By now I wanted to leave badly and go to Pizza Express, also horrible but maybe not quite as much so. Hilariously, soon after our food came some off duty (I assume) staff came and sat at the table I'd declined and scoffed what looked like a large amount disgusting Greggs food!!😂 The rest went ok, the food was ok, I wanted two more Proseccos but no one was around or looking at us but finally I attracted someone's attention. This was my first visit in a long time as even 10 years ago it was staffed by people who looked as though they hated being there and were jealous of the customers who could afford the ridiculous prices. A good idea would be to pay decent older experienced staff who enjoy working in the industry. I'll never ever eat in this or any one of these awful places again.

Went for dinner last night with 8 others all had different meals and dietary requirements and food was delicious. The service was perfect Toby who looked after us was so polite and helpful would go there agian

Arrived to enjoy meal with 5 others - fantastic, efficient welcome. I was asked if there were any food intolerances, etc., I said I was gluten and dairy intolerant. Immediately a separate menu book was produced and the waiter discussed the choices I had and where to find them. Wish more restaurants were like this. Best gluten free pizza I have EVER had. All staff helpful and engaging. All the party had a very special time.

We took the opportunity to dine at the Marlborough Ask Italian on the 18th September. I admit I’m not a big fan of food chains but I was prepared to give it a try. The restaurant provides a pleasant space in which to dine and I found the decor particularly attractive. The staff were pleasant, courteous and welcoming. We had a bowl Olives as a shared starter, these were delicious, being large and fresh. We followed these by both having chicken dishes, Polo Milanese and a Caesar Di Grande accompanied by a Chicken Breast. Both of these main meals were let down by the quality of the Chicken. It was very dry, stringy and tough to cut and eat. My partner left half of her chicken serving but I persevered and finished mine. The Chicken felt as though it may have been reheated after being previously cooked it was awful. A request for some Oil and Vinegar ( Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar ) couldn’t be met. Apparently our taste of Italian food was to be without a drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. In conclusion disappointed.

On a busy evening at Ask Italian Marlborough we were greeted with friendly smiles by Rowan, who was able to seat us quickly . Our server Leah was helpful in guiding us and so efficient and cheerful. Our meals were excellent and we left full and happy!

Very welcoming staff and delicious food in a nice and warm atmosphere. We also really liked the fact that the kids menu was actually a paper to color on, and colors were given by the staff. Nice touch. Definitely recommend!

From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the relaxed and welcoming staff. The decor I would describe as sophisticated modern Italian tables were not too close pleanty of menu choose with a twist on classic Italian dishes. Had an amazing meal and presently surprised at the bill. Did not have to wait to long between courses and every request was dealt with promptly and curtiously. All staff went out of their way to be the very best convivial hosts. Totally recommend especially if your a lover of Italian food.

We used to go to Ask restaurants in London when they were at their height of popularity. They were at minimum good but always better. Finding ourselves in Marlborough at dinner time we were surprised to see an Ask and duly went in to reminisce. The ambiance was cafeteria like, and the service was friendly. But what has happened to the food?? The calamari starter was coated in some undescernable powder flavouring and the calamari within must have been in the freezer so long it could have been frozen cardboard, which probably would have tasted better. Our pizzas only faired slightly better with the prawns on mine looking like pale plastic props on a slightly charred biscuit of mushrooms (hopefully) tomato (hopefully) and peppers (hopefully). My wife said 'if I close my eyes I have no idea what I am eating'. Note to Ask Board: please serve food again!

Prawn pizza lovely with but of chilli olive oil will taste 👌, salmon Raviolli another new dish which yumyummy.

Visiting from the States and this became our go-to restaurant while we were in town.

Recommend visiting. Beautiful interior. Pleasant helpful, efficient staff.
