Leonardo's Ristorante in Wiltshire

Great menu as well as lovely food. Good variety for vegetarians and vegans in particular. All the food is made from scratch which means that even if a particular item on the menu cannot be ordered as a vegetarian or vegan, it can always be made to be! That is why my daughter was actually able to taste her first vegan lasagne and she made sure to eat every bite.

All that we ate was delicious and the service from the staffs were incredible. I cannot recommend enough. I and my family enjoyed a lot.

I have been here in earlier this year when I visited Salisbury. Food and service are still excellent. Nice place, very clean and comfortable will go there again the next time we are in that city.

Good and friendly attitude and two great pizzas tonight. Good wine to accompany it and tiramisu and coffees to complement the occasion. In all, a good independent Italian restaurant, a lot better than most of the high street chains.

This restaurant has to be the best that I have ever been to.The staff where professional, polite and courteous.The menu was vast, from basic pasta/pizza to some really lofty ‘Specials’. menu was extensive, catering from simple Italian pasta/pizza dishes to some exceptional 'specials'. Steak for me and veal for my wife, cooked to perfection and tasted amazingly delicious. It also has wonderful wines, and are offered great views over the market square.I want to endorse this excellent restaurant to anyone that loves his or her food.ithout being intrusive. The menu was extensive, catering from simple Italian pasta/pizza dishes to some exceptional 'specials'. I had steak while my wife had veal, both were cooked perfectly and the taste was incredible. It also boasts a great wine list with views over the market square. I would recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone that enjoys good food.

La Piazza was an oasis of calm after trying other eating places in Salisbury for lunch. Easy listening background music, very good service and excellent 2 course lunch menu. Also exceptionally clean, especially toilets. Will definitely return.

We had a very enjoyable meal, the staff were friendly and welcoming. An interesting and varied menu including all the dishes you would expect from an Italian restaurant. the service was quick and efficient.

I returned here after my last awful visit hoping the restaurant had gotten better, as this used to be my favourite restaurant. Unfortunately the food was not upto standard. I ordered the Pollo Palemero, this was always my favourite dish. The chicken used to be served in multiple pieces wrapped in bacon whereas now it is just a whole chicken breast with bacon and a very watery sauce. It was tasteless. My friends steak was rather chewy and presentation was poor. Please bring back the chefs from 10 years ago.

Very good food. My wife and I enjoyed our visit here. I had grilled sardines and veal ossobuco, my wife had stuffed mushrooms and the Mama Mia baked ravioli with chicken and peas. Everything was very tasty and we both loved our choices. The restaurant has obviously been through a recent redecoration, there is an upstairs section as well as the ground floor area. Note the front entrance faces on to the Market Square, don’t be fooled by the rear on Minster Street which looks rather drab.

What a great recommendation to visit this wonderful restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and very pleasant, eager to please. The food was out of this world, my wife had the penne and I had the salmon which was really devine. Then followed the absolutely delicious chocolate ganache cake, what a way to finish this superb meal out. Thank you for a great experience.

Enjoyable atmosphere, the spaghetti and the mama Mia were excellent. Service was nice. REALLY loved the food and would love to eat there again. Our negative is we are two guys, married for 31 years. We were celebrating Valentine’s Day. Their Facebook page said couples would get a free glass of Prosecco. They gave glasses of Prosecco to everyone else in the restaurant (male/female couples) but not us. Didn’t offer it. I even asked if they had specials for Valentine’s Day and she said no. And then brought glasses of Prosecco to all the other tables.

Just off market square, nice little Italian, set menu for lunch, carbonara and lasagne very good indeed, fairly priced even on the a la carte menu. Will be back for sure.

We finally visited La Piazza & really cannot understand why we have not been before. We had not realised that there was so much space. We were shown to a table overlooking the Market Square, ideal for people watching. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and very clean. The waiter was very attentive, promptly getting our drinks while we chose our meals. Basically there was very little we would not have chosen across any courses. It was good to learn that it is made on the premises, right down to the fantastic ice cream options. Thank you to all at La Piazza for your hard work. We own another local Independent business, Kids Klobber, and appreciate the time & effort you have to put into this. We will be back with family very soon.

Excellent as always. Freshly prepared delicious food. We chose from the special lunch menu which is very good value. Both my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals, I had the minestrone which was full of fresh vegetables then the cannelloni both were super. My daughter had arancini and risotto again tasty and fresh. The service here is friendly but not pushy.

First visit for me and it wont be the last. Friendly and polite staff. Good choice of food, all nicely prepared and arrived hot. Would highly recommend.

Great pizza in a nice setting sitting outdoors on the edge of Salisbury’s market square. We said it reminded us of our time in Florence a few years ago. Service was good and efficient the pizza was really excellent and was complimented with a bottle of Italian house red wine. I had crème brûlée to follow which was delicious. Would certainly visit again next time in Salisbury.

Our reservations were set for 7pm yesterday, and to our delight, there was no waiting involved as we were promptly seated. Our drinks were served immediately, matching the swift service we encountered. The starters also arrived without delay. Although the main courses did take a bit longer, it was well worth it, as the wait was due to the meticulous preparation of fresh pasta for each dish. Based on our experience, we wholeheartedly recommend this place.

We had a really nice meal at this restaurant. We both ordered a pasta dish (everything looked great on the menu), which was delightful. We also had a pudding. We had the cheesecake, which was lovely, but all of their puddings were homemade, which was really impressive. You could tell that the food was made with care and passion, and we gave the chef feedback through the staff. The flavours were bursting in our mouths, the food was well seasoned and very tasty. The atmosphere was also relaxing and the staff were super friendly. Shout out to Teo, who is very attentive. Highly recommended this restaurant. Reasonable prices, too!

AMAZING So fresh and very very fairly priced. Table service was impeccable and the food took a reasonable amount of time! Will definitely be returning hungry for more! Would completely recommend. I have just popped by and thought I would try here as I have always been intrigued and my partner isn’t quite so keen. I’m not someone to complain so haven’t, but cannot understand how morally any establishment can charge £8 for a single pint of Peroni. If I were braver I would ah e refused to pay and walked away. This explains why at 4pm on a sunny bank holiday weekend the place is completely empty. I will not be going back.
