Gusto Divino Warminster in Wiltshire

We visited for a birthday lunch celebration and did not disappoint. The food was good as was the service. I would recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful restaurant. I enjoyed the dinner very much. The seafood risotto was wonderfully prepared. Tasty risotto with succulent mussels and tasty shrimp. The tiramisu finished my dinner with a balanced sweetness.

What a great restaurant a real asset to Warminster, the food is superb, we were served by Tayla, a really pleasant young woman, she was polite & friendly as all Gusto Divinos staff are, this is a great spot forlunch or dinner.

Good welcome and explanation of where we were seated. Excellent service from ordering through to plate collection when we had finished our meals. The food was plentiful and well presented. It tasted amazing. Well done chef! If we are in Warminster again we will definitely dine there again.

We come here every three months or so and last Friday we met friends here for supper. Lovely to see it busy and booking recommended. Friendly service, everyone enjoyed their choosen dishes, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Great character being an old bank.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Excellent service by Tatla. We came to Warminster to have lunch in this restaurant as the food is always good and very reasonably priced. The fish stew was on the light mains and was still filling. It had a good choice of fish in a tasty slightly spicy tomato base sauce. It is served with excellent bread. The Restaruant is an old bank and has a good atmosphere.

Amazing Italian Spot! Gusto Divino is a local gem! The food is fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. The staff is super friendly, and the cozy ambiance makes it a perfect place to enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend the Linguine alla pescatora absolutely delicious!

A Hidden Gem in Warminster! Gusto Divino is hands down the best Italian restaurant in town. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff who make you feel like family. The menu is filled with authentic Italian dishes made with fresh ingredients, and every bite is bursting with flavor. The service is exceptional, attentive without being intrusive. I can’t recommend Gusto Divino enough for anyone in or around Warminster looking for a true Italian dining experience. This place is a must-visit!

A beautiful little restaurant, exposed brick and girders, copper pipes and high ceilings. The service was excellent as was the food. We ordered a draught beer, three soft drinks, three mains, two desserts and a cappuccino and it came to £76. Great value. We would definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again.

I am very surprised by all the highly rated reviews. I can only assume that the customers have not been to many restaurants to be able to truly compare this place to. We were early diners so there really wasn't much of an atmosphere. The entire place was very quiet. Usually in other restaurants, you may hear at least staff quietly chatting amongst themselves but it seemed like they didn't want to work with each other, very solemn faces..very bizarre. The waitress took our order and the food arrived in good time. One of our order was wrong and instead of apologising the waitresses gave us a dressing down for not saying exactly what we wanted and implied it was our fault..even though we had said exactly what we wanted (It is not the first time we have ordered this dish, we always order the same sort of dishes in all the italian restaurants we go to) and the waitress misheard us. It is an easy mistake, so even if say if it was our fault, good customer service would be (if they didn't want to admit liability of any sort) is to say "not a problem, let us get you the right dish". But this was not dealt with correctly. The blaming of us, the customer for the mistake, ruined the dining experience somewhat. We carried on wishing not to inflame the situation as we had had a lovely day up to that point. We were hungry and tired so just wanted to eat a nice meal and rest. The food itself (apart from the incorrect dish) was mostly fine albeit underseasoned though we had salt on the table so this was not a huge problem. After our mains, I asked for a white americano. The waitress looked at me with annoyance and said did you want a white coffee or an americano? Now this is the first time someone taking a drinks order didn't understand what a white americano (americano with milk) was. I was too tired and thought I can't explain if such a simple order can't just be taken so I told her white coffee. When we asked for the bill, the bill came quite quickly.. but then we were ignored for a long time (they really were not that busy). We went up to the bar area ourselves to pay. Not a single "how was the meal?"..nothing.. (I think they knew they messed up). Main problem with this restaurant is the waiting staff needs better training with customer service. They left a card with the bill to ask for a review. ... Maybe we just came on a very off day but I really hope they read this review and improve.

Having had a nice day out at Longleat we found this place to feed ourselves and 3 kids for dinner. The place is rather dark in ambience, which is fine, and a waitress who looked like was learning on the job. All was fine until the food turned up where upon being served meatballs as a starter by mistake, I made the waitress aware that i wanted a meatball main course. I explicitly asked for meatball MAINCOURSE but instead of hearing this, they got it wrong which is completely understandable, we are all humans and can make mistake. But, instead of accepting the mistake, a more senior member of staff came over to tell me that I needed to tell the waitress that I wanted meatballs for main course (which i did) but basically insisted the mistake was with me. They returned with a meatball maincourse with 3 meatballs in it, which was overcooked and dry (probably recooked the ones served to me as a starter for their mistake). Very very disappointing as we went there due to the good reviews. Literally got served poor food, with poor attitude and poorly trained staff. By how the senior staff behaved, I dont have much hope for the junior staff. There may not be many places to eat in Warminster and this smacks of complacency. Not been to any places where the staff would condescend the customer upon a mistake, this is a first for me.

I had an Exceptional evening meal for an anniversary. The food was delicious and plentiful.

We were travelling to Rode about 10 miles from Warminster and were looking for a restaurant and after asking for directions for an Italian restaurant we walked into Gusto Divino. What a great surprise and the Food was great. The seafood linguine was excellently cooked. Three of us were Italian and enjoyed our meal with super friendly service from Tayla and Alexia

My wife and I were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Lovely environment and the staff attentive and pleasant. Food mostly very good, however my meatballs starter could have been better, quote dense and a bit dry, everything else was really good, perfectly cooked pasta and seafood, desert excellent also. Pricing is reasonable for the quality of food and good service. Definitely will go back but will give the meatballs a miss.

This is a great place for a lovely relaxed meal. The food is delicious and the staff are always friendly. Definitely recommend as one of the best places to go in Warminster (and definitely the best pizza!). We’ll be back!

Kaleigh is charm,personified. Beautiful, articulate and helpful(recommended excellent hotel as we experienced horrible time at a local one ) Desserts were of a high standard and reasonably priced,we only had those as had eaten earlier. Thoroughly recommend Big up Gusto Divino...elevates Warminster High Street.

Largely disappointed, although not to the point that the experience was awful. Open plan layout, but ambience was quite nice. Server was sullen and uncommunicative, and seemed as though she would rather be somewhere else - anywhere else, in fact. Dishes were delivered in a timely manner, however; a mistaken order was rectified reasonably quickly, but with little acknowledgement that the restaurant had made an error. Bruschetta was under-seasoned but passable. Olives were good but it's hard to get those wrong. Bread was good. Seafood risotto was under-seasoned and lacked acidic balance. Mussels in risotto were overcooked. Arrabbiata was a bust - a flat tomato sauce, under-seasoned, lacking fat (olive oil), no acidic balance and - most importantly - no heat. Arrabbiata means *spicy.* Tasted like tinned tomatoes tossed with penne. If I go back, I'll get a pizza - they looked good. Negroni was good. Montepulciano was fine. I'm an executive chef of 20 years experience and my wife worked front-of-the-house for many years. We are discerning but understanding of the difficulties involved in food service, so tend to give fairly wide latitude to those in the industry. To the owner/manager: the restaurant needed another server/expediter for the Saturday evening shift. If you're unwilling/unable to allocate more labour, you need to step up and be there yourself. Food service isn't easy, and you chose it.

Its a Wednesday evening and I thought I would try this lovely little restaurant out. WOW, Food is the best,I have eaten in all restaurants and bars in Warmnister, but this place is the best value quality, quantity, hospitality, relaxed atmosphere front of house waitresses, all so so friendly and not pushy,just a great place. The food is to die for,l would eat here every visit and thsts the truth, keep doing what your doing,fabulous!!

Walked in this evening. TOTALLY ignored by the one waitress. Saw ourselves to a table and sat, still IGNORED for several minutes. Got up and told the waitress we were leaving as we did not like being ignored. She never said a word. We had been there in the past and were quite prepared to spend a decent amount of money. But, we shall never go there again. Poor service. 😡

Very disappointing meal here tonight. I like to support local so thought I’d try this place in town instead of going over to Devizes or Melksham like we normally do. What a mistake that was! We had meatballs to start which were hard and bland, but we ate them because we were hungry and I thought “oh well, might’ve been one bad batch, maybe the mains will be better”. Wrong again… I had carbonara which felt very oily in my mouth; I couldn’t finish it because it actually made me feel sick. My partner had a pizza which was doughy in the middle and very greasy. He also didn’t finish his meal. When our server Alexia came to take our plates, I informed her that our meals were oily and she tried to patronise my partner by telling him “that’s just how pizza with pepperoni is”. I can appreciate that pepperoni pizza is probably slightly oiler than some others but I’ve never seen one quite as bad as that! And she didn’t even comment on my pasta - which shouldn’t be oily at all anyway - so I reiterated that it felt really oily in my mouth. With that, she picked up my cutlery and stormed off. No apology, no offer of another dish. Then she went and served another table and practically ignored us! So my partner went up to the bar and settled the bill himself. To be honest, I felt like walking out without paying, but unlike my server I actually have some manners. Oh well, at least I know I’ll never be coming back here again!

What a pity!!!!I was meaning to try this local Italian for quite a while as the venue looked smart and inviting. I went there for lunch and although the service and the decor was fine the food was awful. First of all arrived cold : I ordered meatballs which were hard , tasteless and covered with a slightly flavoured sauce. Definitely not freshly made. The bread though was warm. The new roasted potatoes were bland . My friend had a pizza with a very soggy middle . Not recommended and I will not go back again.

This is a lovely Italian restaurant on the high street. Had Saturday lunch. Good tasty food from a family run business. Prices reasonable. Will go again

Food was incredible, I had the fish stew which was so warming and tasty while my daughter had the bambini pizza. We went for Mother’s Day lunch and will definitely be back. We shared the chocolate brownie dessert which was divine. Served by Summer who was attentive and helpful. The place was super busy with all the tables downstairs taken so glad we booked. Great local restaurant. We will be back soon!

A busy Friday night with downstairs full. The service was very good and the staff attentive. A good range of dishes including pasta and pizza. The wine list was good and reasonably priced. The only downside is that because of the brick walls it can sound very noisy when full.

We were visiting Warminster and wanted somewhere cosy and romantic to eat. Having done some research we stumbled across Gusto Divino. Set in an old bank, the huge space was decorated beautifully and still managed to feel very intimate. The service was excellent, the price was unbelievable and all this complimented food that was simply stunning and authentic.

Ordered the mussels as a starter…..All ok even though the wine and cream sauce was a little salty. When my pizza arrived it was, at best, tepid. I asked the waitress to heat it up. She was gone a couple of minutes and returned with a still tepid pizza now with wilted rocket leaves. When I pointed out these two factors the waitress said that is how Italians like to eat their pizzas! I lived 12 years in Rome and never had a luke warm pizza! I asked her if she had ever heard the expression “the customer is always right”. She said she had, but didn’t believe it! Serious staff attitude problems here probably down to lack of training. I sent an email to the owning company 3 weeks ago…….haven’t heard a word. DONT GO to this restaurant!

A delightful experience at Guston Divino. The cheesy garlic bread was flavorful, and the calzone surpassed my expectations with its huge portion and fresh, delicious taste. Highly recommended, and I look forward to visiting again.

If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and looked after us really well. The restaurant is really lovely and clean and spacious. The food… oh my! The food is excellent!!! The BEST risotto I have ever eaten (including those I ate in Italy!) I had the goats cheese starter with rocket and it was delicious, my husband had bruschetta which was also really tasty. The portions are big! And especially the Calzone which we highly recommend! The prawn and mussel risotto was sooo delicious! To finish, I had a chocolate fondant which oozed yummy chocolate sauce and my husband had tiramisu (can’t comment on that as I don’t like coffee but he said it was delicious!) Gluten free catered for and it was simply delicious. I would go back tomorrow!! Highly recommended

Great food and service. However, very noisy bare brick walls increase to sound so everybody talks louder. Not a place to chat with friends over lunch or dinner.

The place has gone down hill, used to be great food and great atmosphere, now the food is terrible, the “squid” is just some cheap frozen rubbish, steak was aweful, definitely won’t be going in there again

I always have the same meal here - the SALTIMBOCCA MAIALE Pork fillet with crispy Parma ham, roasted new potatoes, green beans and a sage, white wine and butter sauce It's delicious and well presented, a decent piece of pork fillet, expertly cooked, I have the (delicious) sauce on the side so I can dip my meat, beans and potatoes in it. The saute potatoes were the best ever - clearly just cooked, hot and fresh.

Came for birthday dinner, they managed to accommodate us on the day, they were extremely friendly and polite, Katarina made us feel very welcome and we had the best time possible! Food, service, atmosphere 5 stars. Will definitely come again.

Called in for dinner on our way back to the hotel from Longleat. Food was superb, and the service was very friendly, and very quick. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful rustic decor, incredible table service and delicious food. Child friendly although there doesn’t seem to be a child’s menu but the portions are generous enough that you are able to share with your child. High chairs are cleaned to a high standard which is wonderful touch. We have visited a handful of times now and can not rate or recommend them enough!

Had a great meal here on a business trip with a colleague. Good service, generous good tasting pizza and a good but different beer on offer compared to other establishments of this type I have visited. For me having the garlic bread with cheese and a pizza I can say for my tastes this was the best starter and pizza I have eaten in a long time. Very reasonable pricing given the generosity of the servings.

Best pizza for miles around, and sensible prices. And they have Italian beer that isn't Peroni. Hurrah!

Absolutely lovely experience with delicious food. Staff were welcoming, diligent and attentive. They are an extremely good and efficient team. We were so happy as often when you go out, there is something that is not quite right. Not this time, it was perfect.

The pasta was spectacular, as well as other options that we ordered and shared...we ate very well, the waitresses were very attentive, they served quickly, good atmosphere, at 3:30 p.m. we ate and had no problems...and the price was very reasonable, after To see Stonehenge we went there and we liked it a lot. It's not far, but you avoid eating in tourist areas

What a treat ! We were staying in Warminster and booked to eat here on Saturday evening ! Everything from the service the atmosphere and the food was faultless ! The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a modern casual way which creates a wonderful atmosphere!...

Sorry but solid 2 stars only imo. 1 for the venue and 1 for the service. -3 for the food. The venue has a nice feel and is not over crowded but unfortunately the food was not great. Calamari - one of my favs eating out. Here it was chewy and oily. Flat bread with cheese - hard to get wrong, but was nice. The mains let it down. The calzone was cold, so much the cheese hadn't melted in the middle, let alone if the bolognese was cooked? My partner had a bad belly in the morning. Let down by what seems a nice family run Italian restaurant with good service. I won't be returning here unfortunately.

It is a lovely contemporary Italian restaurant. We ordered Linguine Alla Pescatora, Fiotina pizza and Pollo Milanese. The food was very quick. Quick service and descent Italian food are just what we needed after lots of traffic on M3.

Warminster u3a are using Gusto Divino for our weekday lunch club and we choose off the fixed price lunch menu. The staff can't do enough for us - Kate helps me make it all happen and we've been as many as 25 which means we're...

The food was very good and the service excellent, just a little noisy could do with some sound deadening fabrics to absorb the noise.
