Good food and service will visit again

Visited for Sunday lunch to celebrate my grandmother's 90th birthday. The food was superb with the choice of Sunday roast or non roast meals. Beef was delicious and all the veg was fresh and crisp. Waiting staff were friendly and efficient.

Farmhouse Inn is a great pub. We meet up with friends regularly and have a great night. Friendly atmosphere and food is always good with great service.

Absolutely 💯 lovely Sunday lunches and very attentive staff the best Sunday lunch we have had and we have tried lots of places a must try they get busy all the time so you have to book

The food in the pub is exceptionally good. The rooms are a bit outdated. Showers and toilets must be shared with others. All in all, this place is best suited for transit as the place doesn't offer much infrastructure either.

Simple sandwich, but it was nicely presented with a reasonable salad garnish and a decent portion of fries. Service was quick and efficient without being pushy or intrusive. Staff were very pleasant and the prices were reasonable. Pub is clean and tidy and well maintained. A good carpark with plenty of space. Highly recommend this establishment.

The food was lovely, my wife had salmon and I had gammon which was fantastic after this great first couse we had the wonderful desserts my wife had the panacotta and I had banoffe. The service from the staff was very helpful and professional. The meals were very good valve .

Food was good, nice pub plenty of parking

We had a great little family outing to the Farmhouse Inn. The sun was shining and the service and staff were very welcoming. The four meals came out promptly and were hot. It didn't take long for us to devour our meals and then transfer to the garden to enjoy our drinks in the sunshine ☺️. Hopefully we will get back there again to enjoy another family outing.

Fabulous food lots of it at great prices.

Food generally very good, but the lasagne - as is common in so many places nowadays - was spoiled by being served with anaemic melted cheese on top, when it should be crispy, brown & bubbling. Chips are amazing, though, and salad fresh & varied.

Nice friendly pub, great garden

Popped in for lunch just after 12pm for a burger & a pint of 6x. Staff very friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, piping hot and very tasty. Highly recommend & we'll be back soon 😋🍔

Nice Inn, good food well presented, and large portions. Excellent service and a good selection of beers. Dog friendly in Bar and beer garden.

Lovely restaurant and great staff really friendly and helpful. Extended family 11 of us went to get food; it was so delicious I had the Lasagne, it was delicious but tasted more cheesy than it did mince. For dessert I had the malteaser cheesecake which was delicious but the top tasted more like a mouse than cheesecake but it was still delicious. Overall had a great experience and restaurant served us well we all had hot food that was given to us all at the same time.

Staff are really friendly and attentive. Food was hot and delicious. It's one of if not the best around.

My wife and I called in with No prior warning after a day out, got there at 4-50 No food until 5-30, landlord still showed us to a table and gave us the menu plus a special board. Would just like to say we will be back, the service was great the food amazing and very reasonable. Thank you

We had a Sunday lunch to remember my mums birthday. The service was excellent and the food was gorgeous. I loved the table service instead of the self service in some pubs . The whole experience was one I'll definitely recommend to everyone.

Took my wife here for a meal absolutely brilliant food was amazing I had a burger it was fully loaded my wife had chicken. Portions was really generous. Customer service was excellent definitely be coming back thank you to all staff .

Had Steak on a hot stone so it cooks in front of you and you cook it to your liking and very nice pub/restaurant and good atmosphere.

Booked here as a last minute Sunday 18/2/24 for a party of 4 I didn’t fancy a roast so opted for scampi chips and mushy peas. Absolutely amazing, chips slightly overdone but didn’t spoil meal Others opted for 2 roast chicken and a beef roast No complaints plenty of veg and meat Fabulous service 👍👍👍👍

Visited The Farmhouse with 5 friends; I've driven past the place many times but only visited once before about 20 years ago. Plenty of car parking, and the premises are nicely appointed, bright, and restaurant tables not crammed in. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The menu was excellent; full of interesting choices that we actually wanted to eat, so we were genuinely spoilt for choice. The prices were really fair too, and the quality of the served dishes was outstanding; really good value for money. None of us was disappointed, and we happily recommend you to book a table.

Overall a great experience. The pub is located easy to find and plenty of parking. You have a choice of food from a main menu and Specials board both with plenty of choices to meet all needs. The food is of a good standard and worth the price. Staff are welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable. A must if you are in the area but I suggest booking as it's a popular venue.

Went there for a meal, it was ok. Would have been a lot nicer if your main course came out with the potatoes and veg. Not ten min after as they did forget to cook them.

Had our Christmas party last night! Amazing food staff was brilliant the food was bought out fast and hot! After food a brilliant disco to dance the night away will definitely be booking again next year! Thanks to all the amazing staff 😁

Came for lunch a couple of days ago, will definitely come back when we are in the area again! The staff were very friendly and the food was outstanding. We both had the ham, egg and chips (proper pub lunch), plus a side of onion rings to share, while our little one had nuggets, fries and beans. Both the nuggets (proper chunks of chicken not processed) and onion rings are homemade, eggs were cooked to perfection and fresh. The portion sizes were generous as neither of us had any room for dessert. Also price wise we thought it was good value for money. It’d be dangerous if we lived locally as we’d be here a lot! Highly recommended.

Every good food great service friendly staff

A friendly pub that seems to caters for a certain age group, The layout is more like a school refectory or army barracks (my father's description) with long tables next to each other seating from 4 upto 12 people. Not in my mind a place for a romantic meal if you were planning one. It was completely full for lunch and had a sign at the door stating this. The food was very basic and small portions for your money. My father had a ham ploughman's, definitely not the best I'd seen, no choice of bread, and other items missing from your normal ploughman's. I had the chicken and bacon salad, small enough to be a starter, but as I said they seem to cater to a certain age group. Staff were excellent, attentive and very efficient. I think we will have to go back to give it a fair try as neither of us had a hot meal. If you are looking for a place to take a large group or family this is for you.

Amazing pub lunch! I had one of the specials (cauliflower cheese bake) and it was fantastic. It’s rare you find somewhere that actually makes a good cheese sauce. Service was great too and staff were lovely :) will definitely be back to try more!!

Always go here for drinks and food when we can. Staff is amazing and friendly. Food is great, never disappointed. Need to book in advance though as always full for food.

We stopped over in a campervan (Britstop) on Thursday night 14/9/23. Firstly a very warm welcome. Good beer - Wadworths 6X and IPA. The food was exceptional, with an extensive specials board. Customer service was great, all staff enthusiastic and friendly. Good sized garden too. Highly recommended.
