Afternoon Tea! WOW. It is as good as the pictures. Anna is a lovely host. The setting is beautiful. The food was plentiful and deiicious. We were a party of 18 and everyone was delighted (even the GF guest - she had her own cake stand). Would highly recommend this for a small intimate function or just a gathering of ladies. Great value. Even has parking!

This is a great spot to pick up a picnic lunch for the trail. My wife and I are seniors with a senior appetite - one box was perfect for us to walk down the street and sit on a bench and enjoy this together. The sandwich was good sized (the tomato jam was superb). The mint and citrus cordial had us fighting over who got the last sip. Perfect start for out walk around the area.

Spent a lovely afternoon celebrating my birthday over a delicious Sunday roast. Food was plentiful and tasty. Special shout out to our server Ashleigh who provided excellent service and nothing was too much trouble. Look forward to returning again soon.

Magnificent mansion, magnificent estate and superb room. In terms of quality, cleanliness of the infrastructure, nothing to complain about, everything is perfect, even more than perfect. A very nice touch in the room for my birthday with a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates. The breakfast is excellent, high quality and gargantuan. The bartender is also very professional, helpful and pleasant. On the other hand, the quality of reception and check-out could be improved. The welcome is not the warmest although professional. The staff at breakfast are very professional. However, one person was really very cold, bordering on unpleasant. For the quality and price of the hotel's services, it's a shame. The biggest disappointment was not being able to purchase the large Lionel the lion soft toy, which is in all the rooms and, which is in all the photos of the hotel. There's even a message attached to his neck, stating that he's for sale at the front desk. However, at reception, we are told that this is not possible, that only the intermediate format remains. When you advertise everywhere, when you promise your child to "adopt" him, and in the end, there are none left or none, I find it borderline unprofessional. Especially when you pay £600 for a night, the least you can do is make sure you find a solution for the customer

This is such a lovely pub with delicious food! They also have a nice kids menu. The interior is very cozy and the service was nice, although ended up being slow at one point because they got very busy towards the end of our meal so we couldn’t end up ordering dessert. We would definitely be back though.

Had such a fantastic family meal here for my son’s first birthday. The staff were so lovely and helped to decorate around our table to make the evening extra special. The food was amazing and came out quickly after ordering. The pub had a lovely cosy feel with an amazing entrance, decorated beautifully for autumn. Would definitely recommend ☺️

Very expensive beer at £6.50 a pint, I normally pay £4.50 for it. The fish pie I ordered was dry and 80% mashed potatoes, I did find a little fish at the bottom but without any sauce. Others in the party complained about their poor food. I'm not going back.
