A lovely place for a spot of lunch . It was one of the highlights of the circular walk . Along with the stunning views . The food was delicious. The pie & the bread & butter pudding is a must 😋 A warm welcome & friendly service

Fantastic spot , sadly it really didn’t live upto its great location. Service slow , food not great & not as described we actually didn’t get what we ordered . We were all cold . An expensive disappointing experience .

After a lovely long walk enjoying the scenic beauty of the surrounding area, we were welcomed by the friendly staff at The White Hart where we enjoyed a wonderful Sunday Lunch. Superb food, wonderful staff in a beautiful setting.

Nicki’s service and enthusiasm was amazing , topped with the fantastic food and wine we had a great time . We are coming back for Sunday lunch even though we have a fairway to travel back .. So an opportunity to stay over and use the rooms !

We had a delicious evening meal there. You can taste the ale in the steak and ale pie and the pea sauce with the bass filet was yum! Nicki and Megan were very friendly. Good atmosphere. Would recommend.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, going to the effort of setting a table up inside in case the weather changed. Thank you for your hospitality and a wonderful lunch!

We were staying at Castle Combe & walked the MacMillan Way to Ford with a stop off at The White Hart for lunch, glad we did; we received a genuine warm, friendly welcome, along with plenty of treats & fresh water for our dog. We sat outside where there is plenty of space for everyone with children, dogs to enjoy the beautiful setting. The interior is charming, tables are spaced well so you’re not on top of each other. The beers are varied, & refreshing, recommend Neck Oil ! the food was delicious & the desserts bread & butter pudding was mouth watering! We enjoyed it so much we returned for an evening walk for Dinner, we were not disappointed, the Thursday Steak night was a real tasty treat. Thanks everyone at the White Hart, we’ll definitely visit again next year on our annual return to Castle Combe.

I have been to this pub a couple of time and although the meal I have had previously was delicious the roast I had on Sunday was not equivalent. The pork was dry and not very much of it, potatoes weren't crispy but you do get a giant Yorkshire pudding with it and the gravy and veg were great. I asked for some chicken as I had my dog with me (dog friendly pubs are the best). The waitress came out with a huge portion of chicken and a bowl for him to eat out of accompanied by a bowl of water. He was so happy. I would still go back to this pub but maybe not for the roast dinner. Thanks for the good visit

We booked a table for the opening party, the pub opened earlier in the week with new staff and owners.

A traditional style Indian restaurant – i.e. no frills and candelabras, which is usually a good sign that the food is going to be good and I was not disappointed. I do not know why this restaurant is not busier than it is. There are a number of places to eat in Cricklade, however the food and service here outshines them all. The staff were very attentive and our order was taken promptly with food arriving in a timely manner. I could not fault any of the dishes we had and will definitely return sooner rather than later.
