Brilliant food and the waiter was lovely! Even gave us advice on good bike ride routes!!!!

This is a tucked-away gem with the loveliest cakes and range of drinks. The staff were really sweet and fun. We arrived towards the end of the afternoon but didn't feel like we were being rushed out so they could finish up. The room is really interesting too, it's not just a cutesy name, this really is an old stable.

Lovely staff with a welcoming smile from all of them. That’s the best starter you can have. Cosy, homely pub with really good home cooked food & plenty of it. The Battered Cod/Chips..exceptional. Our 4 visit and a must when we’re in the area. Thank you for cheering up our Wet & Windy Sunday.

I used to come here - to feed the ducks at the neighbouring duck pond - when I was 4-5 years old… 54 years ago… and this is the first time I have been inside the pub since!! We came on Xmas Eve - without a booking - but they fitted us in (4 adults, 2 babies and 2 dogs) for a sumptuous lunch. Pub food, but some of the best chips I have ever had, and super-tasty! Service was excellent, ambience even better! Loved it, and can’t wait to come back - in less than 50 years!!

Awful service. Went there this evening and the 2 male workers didn't acknowledge us. Constant banter, the guy who made the drink kept touching his face..yuck. I couldn't get a word in. Mobiles out...yap yap. Terrible terribld service. Never again
