Awesome sunday lunch
We hadn’t booked today
Excellent service Food was delivered quickly
Hot. and moorish
We keep going back because it really is the best Sunday lunch
Very limited menu with a cold seating area .
I ordered the scrambled eggs on toast and the toast was cheap supermarket bread with cheap tasting spread.
Literally a handful of things available to order off the menu. Can’t even order a full english . Wouldn’t recommend.
A shame as excellent location and could be 100 times better.
I have been to this coffee shop a few times now and I've find it value for money very pleasant and the staff always nice and friendly they go out there way to serve you and the food is always hot it's worth giving ago
I had a quick bite in here before visiting the museum, it was absolutely fine.
The food was served very quickly, and was tasty. Thanks.
I did spend quite a lot time wandering around looking for forks, menus and other items. So if you really want to be A1 maybe check the tables are provisioned with cutlery etc. I don't really care either way, but you might!
Friendly staff and excellent food. I really enjoyed the Zia special calzone and it was a very good price. I highly recommend it for those who are pizza enthusiasts and those who are looking for something new. Service was fast and the overall atmosphere was very positive.
Highly recommend!
Sunday lunch was gorgeous, sat outside in the beer garden. Car park was large enough to park our motor home up easily while we ate. Definitely worth a visit
Lovely little pub with a traditional feel to it. Friendly staff and proper home cooked food. I had the calamari followed by the gammon steak and both were delicious. Good portion sizes too. Nice selection of beers and cider on tap. Will visit again.
Homely family-run village pub. Very friendly welcome. Good range of well-cooked pub food, we chose lemon sole and a pie respectively, both great, good portions. Then shared an apple cobbler with custard, very nice.
Good simple food but superb. Excellent quality products used ie sausages, baguettes, bacon etc. been visiting for lunch a couple of times a week for a while now and never disappointed. Owners and staff very welcoming and pleasant. Devastated to learn today that they’re closing down a week on Sunday. I’m away next week so will miss the opportunity to go every day until they close! 😩
Our first visit to the Cuckoo Inn (for the winter Thursday night Greek evening). Lives up to it's reputation on TA as probably the most friendly pub in the New Forest. Nic is a convivial landlord and has a great following of mainly locals but also travellers from slightly further afield such as ourselves.
Greek food was delicious and bar prices very reasonable.
We were staying along the road in Box, and the Six Bells in Colerne was recommended for Saturday night pizza’s courtesy of the mobile food van, Only Fools & Morsels. Warmly welcomed in what’s a very friendly local, that nowadays doesn’t do food. Actively encouraged to bring food in - and the pizzas prepared whilst we enjoyed our drinks in the pub were excellent. Don’t know what the place is like other nights of the week but well worth a visit on Saturday evenings.
We celebrated our Grand Daughters 17th birthday…The service was average…We had to ask for a wine by the bottle menu which was in fact a better deal…The menu was not as impressive as the website suggests…I ordered lobster ravioli at $23.95 and received 7 not homemade with no crabmeat or tomatoes. One of my Grand Daughters ordered the beautiful NY Strip medium well; it came out late medium rare. When returned fifteen minutes later it was perfect but the entire table had finished eating…I hope we experienced a night where key kitchen help did not show up for work; otherwise this restaurant needs to tighten up to stay in business…
