Won’t be back - coffee ok but woeful miserable staff. A smile, a bit of engagement, even eye contact makes a difference - you want to feel welcome rather than an intruder. Surely when money is tight places realise they might have to go that bit extra to encourage people to go back.

The couple times I've been in here for a coffee and cake, it's been lovely, just a bit of shame about the staff - not always the most welcoming and doesn't feel like a nice working environment. One time I was sitting in and heard the manager shouting at and belittling one of the staff members, I nearly had to intervene as it was so unprofessional and I felt really sorry for her.

I found this place the day before I actually ventured in as I was in my own. I came back the following day (04.04.24) with my 14yr old son for lunch. We ordered an Americano, vanilla milkshake, nachos & soup. Everything was delicious. The soup was leek & potato, one of my faves, all the girls were lovely & friendly, no problem as I asked for extra butter. Son loved the full nachos experience. All reasonably priced and will definitely visit again. Bit of a hidden gem considering its location. There’s no where that I know of in Trowbridge that’s similar. Soup was also piping hot 👍🏻

This is a great place for lunch. Good mixture of lunch choices and really friendly staff. Cosy. We had panini and they were lovely.

Hidden away from the main centre. This is a little hidden gem. Really nice cosy feel. Great coffee , always! Our only complaint (which regret we didn’t raise at the time) Was the breakfast on this visit was very cold, perhaps largely due to the cold plates. Perhaps a more generous portion of fillings in the Ciabattas too as on inspection the fillings were quite minimal. However, the cakes are usually awesome and as mentioned this place serves great coffee!!

Good quality ingredients but food was tepid. Putting breakfasts onto cold plates will make food cold very quick. Needs a bit more love put into their customers experience.

I visited yesterday as one of a group of ten. Service was pleasant, quick and efficient, I enjoyed scrambled egg & tomato on doorstep toast and coffee was delicious. The upstairs room was spacious and comfortable. A much better experience than later in another town centre café at lunchtime.

Lovely place to stop and have a coffee. I would’ve given it 5 stars but when I do come here I do notice the older lady always rude to the younger staff and belittling them which is unprofessional especially in front of customers. Such a shame as it’s a wonderful place and the younger girls are very friendly and hard working.

Relatively quiet pedestrian street off the main drag that offers a very efficient clean and excellent vfm service. The staff are pleasant, communicative, knowledgeable and quick. A simple bacon sandwich and a flat white coffee arrived hot, tasty and with no fuss or fluster. Most importantly the sauce bottles (even at lunchtime) we’re clean and crud-free. Next time we visit Trowbridge we will have lunch here and try some of the delicious cakes on offer.

The owner, was so terribly rude and arrogant, made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Will not be returning, apparently he has always been like this doesn’t make it right though!!! Such as shame as the setting is nice.

Just have said today I have one of thes full English breakfast in long time, plus your staff is welcoming and friendly definitely your have a lovely place and glad I find it, definitely is will be a regular place to visit and enjoy a good cuppa of coffee. Been coming regularly to Lakers for many years. Everything is excellent. Food is all fresh, delicious and very well presented. Coffee is excellent. One huge advantage here is that you order at the counter and then sit down, and your coffee and food are served at your table. I hate places where you have to wait in the queue for ages, while they take a long time to. make everyone’s coffee. This is a nice relaxing place to be, and the staff are always friendly and super efficient.

I arrived in Trowbridge town centre a little early to catch my bus, and could smell bacon. I had to track that smell down, it was so enticing. I was not disappointed, finding Leykers a little off the main road, it could easily be missed. A real hidden gem. I had a delicious bacon sandwich with a very welcome cup of tea. The staff were very polite, and professional. I will definitely be returning.

Love this place and been many times but this time I ordered a portion of chips as an after thought! See pic, think I may of just got one potatoes worth. Unfortunately no time to complain as it was one of those moments where you look at your watch and realise you should of been somewhere else 5 mins ago.

I often visit leykers with my partner and today, as always, was a great experience!! We were served by a lovely waitress who I believe is named Lauren. She made sure our order was perfect and was very friendly while doing so :)I would definitely recommend visiting leykers to anyone looking for brilliant food and exceptional service:)

Great selection of food for lunch, mid-morning coffee/tea, or afternoon tea. Open occasionally in the evenings. Very kind and helpful staff, in a nice atmosphere.

Wow ... tasty quality fresh ingredients ,brilliant value for money and a pleasant friendly environment . Popped in today for lunch and it did not disappoint. Some mix up with the tables we only got regular coffee when we paid and ordered for large. But the quality and size of the food made up for the small error.

A great local coffee place for coffee cake & homemade breakfasts & lunches. I can recommend the freshly made soup. A good team run this place efficiently with smiles& a chat:) Doggie &children friendly too. Newspapers to read and kids books too- tho wi fi can be bit variable..

Leykers is my favourite place to go. They have a lovely wide range of food and drink. The cakes are baked on the premises and they are gorgeous! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them! Speedy service with a smile. Highly recommended.

Initial disappointment as pancakes are no longer on the menu, but online still offered. That said lovely coffee and hit chocolate, delicious breakfast. If you're staying at the Premier Inn like we were, definitely worth the short walk!

Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Seating is split over 2 floors, and can be very busy at times. It is also a pet friendly establishment.A good selection of food and coffee at very good prices.Well worth seeking out if you are in the area. We travelled to Trowbridge to collect an order and decided to stop off for lunch. I did some research and Leykers had many good reviews. It's just off the town centre in a yard off the busy town centre.

Yummy ciabatta and liked relaxed but efficient service. Have been three times now and always been good, would definitely recommend

Whenever we make a trip to Trowbridge we pop in here to have a coffee before heading home. I usually order a cappuccino and the wife has a flat white. The drinks are brought to the table, which saves waiting for them in a queue and they are always lovely and hot. Nice clean premises and friendly approachable staff.

Came in for a quick lunch. Ham and stilton ciabatta plus a salad. Service good, food good and good atmosphere.

I went to this shop with high expectation as they were in the independent coffee guide, I ordered a flat white, taste was ok but over extracted, texture of milk was non existent, I put the coffee was on par with Starbucks.

You get service with a smile,staff friendly and welcoming. Food is very appetising as are all the cakes. Love their bacon butties. Reasonable prices. The atmosphere is buzzing, always busy, easy to strike up conversation with other customers. Meet friends there on a regular weekly basis. Can’t fault it.

ive just come in today with 2 of my friends and were greeted with a wonderful welcome from both staff members! such a beautiful array of cakes, snacks and salads. and a delicious gingerbread latte i must say! clean, beautiful lighting and lovely touches. ill definitely be back!

We haven't been here in many years but we had a delicious piece of carrot cake along with a pot of tea, fair price too in comparison with the chain coffee shops. Well worth a visit.

We came across this cafe down a walkway while staying in Trowbridge.the scones are a delight, according to my wife as she is the expert,the cappuccino was also super, I had a toasted teacake, which was lovely, and the kind lady also supplied low fat spread, when we are next in Trowbridge we will certainly revisit.

I recently moved to Trowbridge and meet with a friend at Leykers as she suggested that its a nice place. Since then I went back several times and every time was amazing. It is quite busy but it is also secluded and you can have a coffee or tea in peace. Defiantly will be going back to try more.

I've just recently moved to Trowbridge and so far this is one of the best little cafes I've seen. The staff were all very kind and gave great customer service.

I've been going to Leykers for the last 10-odd years and can always guarantee a great cup of coffee! It comes from a local roastery and is always high quality and nicely presented. Some décor changes over the years but still the same friendly service and home-made cakes.

Lovely aesthetic, rustic and genuinely nice. Amazing drink selection that aren't all coffee so good for all interests. There has outdoor seating that was really nice in the sun. Really romantic, which is hard to find in the area.

Always good food, and lovely coffee. Have been here many times. Would definitely recommend as the first place to try for people visiting the area. Also opens late serving alcohol too!

We often have lunch at Leykers and in the nicer wather, are able to sit outside in the courtyard. The choice of food is very good and the presentation is, too. They do a very delicious fruit cake! Service can occasionally be a little slow at lunchtime but that is simply because so many people choose to eat there. It doesn't worry us too much, as our time is our own, but for someone on an actual lunch break, this could be a little stressful, maybe. They have a take out service, too.

Leykers is a lovely coffee house with excellent staff and a super array of beverages and pastries and cakes as well as tasty cold salads and lunches. Comfortable inside, even in the hot weather as the floor to ceiling windows open to let the air in. Plus outside tables too. Dogs allowed and treats available! Staff cheery and efficient.

Have absolutely no issues with the premises, the staff, the food etc.. But the coffee is pretty awful. the americano they serve is far too dark, bitter and tasteless. I've tried a few times, but to be honest the standard americano in Costa is far superior. Please change your coffee!!

We were in the area for a wedding and wanted a good coffee that wasn’t part of a large, faceless chain and were lucky enough to come upon Leykers. Relaxing atmosphere tucked away in a little courtyard and fantastic coffee/food, what more could we want! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Really good coffee and excellent service, much prefer it to the bigger brands, highly recommended! You can take well behaved dogs in with you too!

Always visit this cafe when in Trowbridge. Lovely food and very pleasant staff. My only gripe, hence the four star rather than five, is that all the cakes and pastries are left uncovered and are right where people are queuing. I have witnessed people sneezing and coughing whilst in the queue so I could never fancy eating one of these delicious looking cakes. They really need to be under cover away from little people's fingers also! Therefore no comment on their taste. Lovely place sit outside on a sunny day and enjoy coffee.

Visited a couple of times over a weekend in June for coffees and nibbles... Last visited ~5 years ago and the stuff we loved was still the same and some new surprises such as a renovation and now selling alcohol. Cocktails were good and other options such as beer and wine too.

This is by far the best cafe in Trowbridge. Friendly efficient staff, comfortable and welcoming decor with some innovative ideas which I want to use at home. Coffee never a dissapointment, food always excellent with healthy choices and indulgent options sharing equal billing. Good prices and good service. Can't recommend this place enough. Look forward to a day off to visit.

Great cafe with a small bar which sells a first rate Pale Ale, if any of you are old enough to remember what that is! The salad was also first rate with a pick and mix choice. On two floors and with great music in the background. Think it was The Eagles but that's by and by. Staff very friendly.

Went for breakfast on a recent mini break in the area and it was great food at a reasonable price in a cafe with a lovely look and atmosphere. Definitely a hidden gem in Trowbridge. We had a variety of food and drink between us and it was all well cooked and plentiful. Great porridge...

Leykers is a lovely, friendly cafe which offers great coffee and good value. I particularly love that this is a local successful business, which has thrived in spite of the introduction to Trowbridge of many chains of coffee shops. It's the kind of place where you don't feel awkward sitting alone with the paper and a coffee.

I have been coming here for years and I can never fault it. Food, drinks and service is always consistent and prices are good. The refurb is fantastic, very clean and the upstairs area by the sofa is a cosy place for a coffee. Food is prepared to order and is always fresh and well presented. A wide selection of sandwiches/ciabattas etc and choice of filling. Other great light bite options such as jacket potato, nachos and soup. I would however love to see some more vegan options on the menu :-)

Been using this place for 6 years. Great value and a nice location. Very handy that a vaping store is right opposite now as well. Fabulous outside space in the summer. Love the staff and their courtesy to me On every visit.

Never even seen this place before, maybe its new, maybe because i dont often visit the town. Fresh made sandwich and a cup of coffee, good food, good price, good service.

Leykers is welcoming, with a huge range of drinks, cakes, pastries. You can sit on your own and not feel uncomfortable. If you're really wanting a treat, they have specialist drinks with special toppings and then mountains of cream. It's a fun place for children. They also have outside seating if you prefer.

Back again to my usual Town Centre coffee stop + snack.....they have just undertaken a big refresh and refurbishment...this continues to be my stop of choice and rightly deserves its high ratings...nothing not to like from the friendly staff to the extensive food network on offer ...drop in if you get the chance

We have been regular customers since Graham and Tracey opened this coffee shop in 1999, the first real coffee shop with outside seating in the town. With the refurbishment and expanded seating facility and interesting decor and bright and helpful staff you need go no further for an excellent lunch or drinks break.We like the involvement of the owners in all matters relating to Trowbridge, a town than can sometimes be lacking in enthusiasm from the people who have chosen to live here.The decorations in White Hart Yard with flags for the Armed Forces weekend and the staff wearing period uniforms we felt was an outstanding feature.

Popped in here a few times , nothing amazing to say however the coffee is nice " flavoured latte" the seating outside is lovely as it's quiet the cakes are expensive however the staff are lovely very helpful and friendly I will carry on going back :) .

Leykers CoffeeCentral, White Hart Yard, Trowbridge - this cafe has been extended in size since the last time I visited - many years ago - by taking over the adjacent establishment which was previously a computer shop and it has also been refurbished. I thought it was all the better for being bigger as this is a very popular eating place in Trowbridge. It can now seat 60 people, upstairs, downstairs and outside.I chose a regular size cappuccino to go with my cheese and tomato sandwich and it was delivered to my table after a short wait. No receipt was offered. Plenty of other food was available including paninis, jacket potatoes, bagels and pancakes but this is primarily a coffee shop. The food and drinks represent good value for money.The queuing system is a bit haphazard, it should be clearly marked for the Q to start from the far end of the counter, that would improve matters. There is no adjacent car parking so this place is really for customers on foot.This cafe a 5* 'Scores on the Doors' food hygiene rating. I can't comment of the cleanliness of the customer toilets as I did not use them. In summary: I can certainly recommend this cafe.

I like the new look not been in here for some time, excellent service, coffee and jacket potato with cheese, jacket potatoes can be not cooked in most places but this was cooked to perfection nice and soft and tasty cheese. Will be back very soon again for lunch.

Visited out favourite coffee shop just reopened after a refurbishment. We normally visit here about 3 times each week, and have always reviewed it with 5 spots. The food is good, coffee excellent, and the staff are all brilliant and friendly. Have had to change my review to 4 spots as they no longer do baguettes. They were particularly nice. Please bring them back.

We had a very good brunch. The BLT was succulent; the granola with yogurt and fruit very good.Staff helpful and friendly.The Tripadviser map location is wrong - it is in the centre of Trowbridge in Park Lane just off Silver St.There were a lot of dogs inside whilst we were there; if that would put you off then might be a problem

Leyker's sits in a small side street just off the main shopping street in Trowbridge and can be easily missed but please don't!Tracey, Laura and the team always have a natural warm welcome for Chewie and I on our early morning dog walk and the warm glow has become like a magnet.The coffee smells wonderful and tastes great and there is always a great selection of newspapers. Sometimes we have a croissant treat and these are baked fresh each morning and mouth-watering.I should explain that Chewie is a rather large Irish Wolfhound who follows his nose and stomach so even if I had other ideas; we usually have to stop into Leykers . . .and he is always right. It is our favourite coffee shop in Trowbridge :-)

The cafe is always welcomeing and busy, but you can usually find space as they have a large upstairs area too. The food is freshly made and laid out for you to see. There are a great range of delicios cakes and the coffee is excellent quality. I'm a regular and often recomend it to locals and visitors. It has never disappointed.

Fabulous coffee shop. Has a good range of non-dairy vegan-friendly milk.I only had a coffee but the cakes looked delicious. Huge range of teas. Variety of seating and it had a beautiful, calm, quiet atmosphere. Helpful friendly service.I shall definitely return. So much better than the main chain coffee shops I usually go to.

Our favourite coffee shop in Trowbridge, its family run, and the helpful staff are very friendly. I can recommend the soup and baguettes. The range of cakes and pastries will please most people.

Me and my partner came here a week ago food is tasty and staff are brilliant there so polite and friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our food such a nice atmosphere great prices too I would come here again and I would highly recommend it

Best panini in Trowbridge, great coffee and friendly staff. Sun terrace is great for people watching as you eat and drink. Egg and bacon muffin is also brilliant - perfect, shirt wrecking egg yolks :)

I love this place. It's one of my favourite coffee shops in wiltshire that I have visited over the past few months. Staff are genuinely friendly and definitely know how to make a delicious sandwich plus a variety of other scrumptious food on offer, from snacks to jacket potatoes.It is clean, nicely decorated and friendly with a real local but professional feel. Well done to the staff here, they really know how to run a business with brilliant customer service, and I hope they continue to run it they way they do. Nothing needs to really change. Maybe one thing and that's the logistics of seating outside. But that could be to do with trading regulations of where they are allowed to place tables/chairs rather than the coffee shop'sIdeas. Will always go back and recommend to all I know who are looking for a reasonably priced, value for money and a clean place to eat and drink.

Walked in on the off chance looking for a quick and healthy snack. I chose the ciabatta filled with roast Mediterranean vegetables. This was tasty and came with a small dressed salad garnish. The food took a little while to reach me but in fairness the café was fairly full.

There are loads of coffee shops in Trowbridge and this is joint the best! A proper independent place with great service and coffee with a nice seating area. They also welcome dogs which can't be said for the rest!

I nipped in for lunch and ordered 2 pints of lemonade and food, I was amazed to see the young lady behind the counter half fill the glasses with lemonade until she had run out of lemonade, then start to top then up from a container on the counter with slices of lemon floating in it, when I asked her what she was doing she said "I've run out of lemonade, so ime topping them up with lemon flavoured water". I could not believe what I was witnessing, as she had no idea that she was doing anything wrong, so i got my money back and left. If you like watered down lemonade then this is the place to go, or maybe not

Lovely cafe just off the main square. Plenty of outdoor seating, surrounded by beautiful hanging baskets which gave it a great Mediterranean atmosphere. Good menu with plenty of choice, sandwiches, baguettes, paninis jacket potatoes and wonderful cakes to tempt you.

I was enjoying my hot chocolate when my girlfriend notice an employee starring at me. I then caught him doing it myself, after that I also noticed another employee talking to the first one and then both looking at me as if I had done something wrong when I looked over they quickly resumed what they were doing and continued to glance at me throughout my time there. Honestly I felt pretty uncomfortable and made my time there unenjoyable and don't know If I want to come back due to this appalling behaviour from the employees.

Had a lovely lunch here on Saturday. Always enjoy a great lunch at Coffee Central. Food cooked and prepared on the premises. Lots of seating both upstairs and downstairs with additional outside for when the weather is fine. Well worth checking out.

Absolutely lovely place to have a coffee and cake/sandwich/ hot snack. If they even hear you say you are sharing, the snack appears on 2 plates. Excellent staff and reasonable prices. Tip- Upstairs for more ambiance.

Great food, plentiful, wholesome and delicious. All cooked/prepared on the premises. Fresh ingredients. The homemade soup a speciality.Very good and cheerful service. Dog friendly! Comfortable seat you sink into and don't want to leave. Sunday morning a treat, newspapers provided.

Deliberately came here for breakfast and avoid the Coffee Shop multinationals.However although the coffee was fine, the breakfast was just awful ! Indifferent bread for toast, bacon like shoe-leather, and a broken, brown-edged fried egg. To have even served up the egg was a damning indictment of any cafe. So come on Leykers, pull your socks up, it's not rocket science ! I would normally just complain, but was just not in the mood for any aggravation.

Often stop here for a coffee and a cake in the winter or for delicious iced coffee and ice-cream in the summer. There is outside seating with lovely plantings if it is sunny or cosy tub chairs, sofa or normal seatings so you can cosy up indoors. Service is prompt and pleasant.

Very pleasant place for coffee on Trowbridge. The staff seem happy - always a good sign. The coffee is good, the hot chocolate and the paninis too. Seems to be one of the few places in Trowbridge open for a coffee on a Sunday. I intend to go back soon to try a giant crumpet, and perhaps have chili in my hot chocolate next time.

Tracey and Graham run this establishment extremely well hence the good reviews. Looking forward to the revamp of this cafe with it's longer dining times.We call in twice a week for lunch which is always served briskly and with a smile.Keep up the good work.

Often go here for a sit down and a drink while in town. Their hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows is to die for.....not at all watery as I have found in some other establishments! The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. This coffee shop is well recommended by me and my husband.
