This is the Cafe that used to be 'Mortimers' so was keen to see if the slow service had improved......it has! Attentive staff and plain but very good food served quickly and in a friendly different atmosphere. Well done! New Owners ! We will, and already have, been back !

Thai has always been my favourite cuisine but no matter where I go in the UK, nothing compares to this little slice of paradise. The food is exceptional and the setting unrivalled. It’s the only place me and my husband go to without speaking - because we are too busy eating. Don’t question it. Just book it!

OUTRAGIOUS PRICES!!! The eye wateringingly cost of two cokes at a staggering £10.20 made me decide it was ripping off customers. I am relatively local and know there are pubs where cokes would be a fraction of this cost. Had I not been utterly in shock at the cost I'd have told them to take them back. Pub really is nothing special. Guys do you even give a thought to poor families having to stump up your costs to eat out for a family of four or five? So took our custom elsewhere down the road to a charming cafe and ate a huge (classed as a small) portion of fish and chips with peas and a cup of tea, the cost ? £11.95. Service was delightful and the cafe was beautifully clean with cheery decor. Will return there but never again to this pub.

This is not a review of the ice cream parlour which was closed (probably due to Covid-19). The same people run a trio of cottages to let, Oak, Ash and Sycamore. I stayed in Oak with my family bubble and we had a lovely time. Great facilities and close to some fantastic Exmoor walks, so lovely to go somewhere different after lockdown that was safe. Very clean and well looked after, nice wood-burner for those chilly April evenings. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cooker, etc. all you could wish for.

We were staying in Dulverton over the Whitsun bank holiday weekend and decided to have a chippy tea on the Saturday night. We both had small cod @ £3.99 and shared a medium portion of chips. More than enough for our appetites and very well cooked (light batter). Would definitely recommend and use again.

We stayed in the nearby camping site in our motorhome and whenever we can like to eat locally. This place is so close that you can enjoy a few pints of their lovely Guinness and local ales leaving the wheels behind There is a menu on their website and specials on the board by the bar The bar maid is very friendly and gave my wife a taste of the local ale to try before plunging for a pint she might not like We both ordered the steak and ale pie and wow it was HUGE and so tasty Very dog friendly pump Recommended that you book a table as it can get very busy Tony,Shelley and Holly the mutt
