Absolutely love these chips! Very friendly staff, though there may be a question this is because they are sooo delicious and worth the wait! Family visit us just to be able to have the fish and chips!!! Not to see us 🤣

Lovely fish and chips and good portion size. A lot better since been taken over. Only downside are opening times and queuing can be a little disorganised as small space

I have visited this fish & chip shop on numerous times over twenty years on our annual visits to Dulverton. We always visit the chip shop on our visits. It’s changed hands on numerous times over the years. This years visit was no disappointment. It was as good as ever, maybe even bette. The chips were cooked to perfection, brown on the outside and light and fluffy inside. The fish was fantastic, light and crispy batter and excellent fish. We both had the same and really enjoyed our meals. Generous portions too. We wil be back on our next visit.

Theres 4 of us staying in a cottage in Dulverton it was our first evening and we were all tired after a 7 hr journey So opted for fish & chips the fish was really tasty with big flakes of fish We ended up throwing some chips away there was that many we had 4 medium fish and 2 portions chips and a large curry sauce £37 ....really nice

I can highly recommend Exmoor fish and chips , good range of high quality foods from local area freshly cooked with a friendly and fast service.

One of the best fish and chips I’ve had, no complaints at all, had to wait a while but that shows how popular they are and definitely worth the wait. Freshly cooked and delicious 😊

Absolutely TERRIBLE fish and chip shop. Management / staff were rude and uninviting. Certainly the WORST food I've ever had from a chip shop. Really don't know how a business can be run like this. Would recommend the extra trip and go to Bampton chip shop. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!

While staying in Dulverton we had great fish and chips. All cooked to order so fresh from the fryer. Excellent.

The service was fine and the fish and chips tasty. No criticism - although a ‘large’ fish was not really ‘large’ and more like ‘regular’. The problem was that the price for what was sold was very high (about £25 for two large fish and chips and mushy peas). I live in Surrey and equally good service and food is about 20% cheaper. Sadly, as the shop has a monopoly in Dulverton for fish and chips and a lot of customers are carefree holiday makers, the prices are higher than they should be. Would recommend for service and food - but don’t have the ‘large’ portion - and expect to pay more than is reasonable elsewhere. If you are happy to pay more, then ok, but if you are cost conscious, this place may not be for you.

Had fish and chips on the 16th December, very busy at the time i entered but the staff were coping with a real sense of purpose. All cooked fresh for you while yo wait and all served with a smile and good manners The fish and chips were very good and the dogs finished any that we left-also a pot of curry sauce was an added bonus in the taste stakes Overall very good and will use again next time we are staying around the area

A regular visitor to Dulverton & the fish n chip shop, never been disappointed. Ventured out tonight in subzero temperatures for cod & chips & a curry sauce, fast & friendly service & even wrapped everything in tin foil to keep it hot on my journey back to campsite, still piping hot when I got back. Even better than before under the new ownership, a very worthy 5 star review. Keep it up 🤗

Having recently been taken over we thought we’d give it a try. It wasn’t too bad. They got the order right but the portions between normal and large were no different. The curry sauce was nice. Don’t think we’ll be going back as nicer fish and chips elsewhere

This is my local fish and chip shop, right next door to my local greengrocer/fruiterer, both run by the same owners who have brought real customer service and excellent produce to our small town. This was my first experience of Richard’s fish and chips and I was not disappointed, beautiful flaky, fresh cod in a delightfully light batter accompanied by really fluffy chips in a lightly fried exterior. Very busy in the small shop but run well with plenty of staff all working together like a well oiled machine. Congratulations to Richard and his team for a great addition to town.

My family and I were very impressed with the excellent fish, chips and burger from Exmoor fish and chips at Dulverton. The staff were most friendly and efficient and quick to make up our order. The food was fresh and crisp, not greasy at all. Would recommend and revisit.
