Very relaxing atmosphere, really good food and wine. The staff are friendly. Outside seating when the weather is warmer. It has a huge car park. I highly recommend
Nice location but service was slow , and food was cold and unappetising. Coffee was luke warm . They are aiming at quantity rather than quality. Manageress was very apologetic.
Sadly, it was not to our expectations. Such good reports of how amazing the food was, was very disappointing. The menu on line, is no comparison to the menu offered on the day. My son had baked potato with tuna ect, with no complaint… myself and other son, because of lack of choice decided to have fried breakfast, thinking you can’t possibly mess this up, but it was disgusting!it was like they had cooked the ingredients in dirty old fat… my son struggled to eat his, where generally he is a good eater and tries to eat mine too. When the barman picked up our finished full plates, he didn’t ask if everything was ok… I had to tell him , the bacon tasted strange as did the fried tomatoes… I would not eat there again, Daisies cafe I would recommend, it’s cheaper and tastier. Come away very disappointed as trip advisor made the bird in hand sound brilliant… I was looking to have a family celebration in the near future, but it won’t be there now. So disappointed
It appears since I visited before Christmas this place has shut down.
Curry was delicious, as was the naan bread but it was all very expensive, to the point I ignored starters and popadoms. The main, naan and a soft drink cost in excess of £30!
As much as I enjoyed my meal, I don't think it was good value for money and there are other Indian restaurants in walking distance that are better value and serve equally as nice dishes.
We had our wedding dinner for family and close friends followed by private party.
The owners decorated the top room beautifully for the wedding breakfast with such attention to detail from the seating board to the tablet decorations. Their communication with the planning was second to none and they catered for everyone’s dietary needs.
They made all the quests feel so welcome from locals and those who had traveled from miles to attend our special day.
We would highly recommend this venue for any formal occasion.
I met a friend in Nero in Taunton.Firstly I think you need to retrain your staff to be more helpful&friendly! Also lack of gluten free, the only choice is a flapjack,I would have thought an organisation like yours would have at least more than this one option??Thirdly the state of your female toilets leave a lot to be desired,in fact they are disgusting!Won’t be visiting again!
We have used the Wok Inn for a couple of years and find a lot of the negative reviews here on TripAdvisor surprising. Food is excellent, with a wide and varied menu. Always served piping hot, estimates for when it will be ready are generally accurate and the portions are a decent size. Highly recommended and our go to place for a Chinese in the area.
The cafe food is great plenty of highchairs the service area could be improved so your not waiting so long less people making cups of tea and more clearing tables
Absolutely awful. Coffee was that bad I threw it away. There are cobwebs from the light fixtures behind the counter. Flies on the tarts in the cake counter one member of staff wafted it off the custard tart and it went to a cherry bakewell but neither one were taken out the unit glad i wasnt eating. For not lo g having a referb I will not be going back any time soon. Staff were friendly enough but very slow even forgetting one woman's drink.
Great atmosphere for watching the football. Friendly and helpful bar staff and a good natured crowd of England fans. There are several rooms within the is pub to suit allcomers
Wonderful little deli in Trull. Not a great fan of pizza generally but the “special” that we enjoyed yesterday was up there with the best. Well done all at Sara’s Kitchen.
We will certainly be returning.
