Store was extremely understaffed on 21/08. I was stood at the till for 10 minutes before one of the two guys even said hi or I’ll get to you soon. Cups and plates were piled up on almost every table and there wasn’t stock of most sweet items. The coffee they made was lovely which is why I gave a 2, but they were drowning and needed some help.

The company will not allow dogs, however, they allow children. Only 4 Costa in the westcontry allow dogs.

Everything came except the double chocolate cookie but thank you for the great service.

Not a great experience. Tables needed clearing also was kept waiting to place my order. With the what you have to pay for coffee and food you'd expect and deserve better.

it arrived early and because of this they were missing some items for the second time in a row and the driver dropped my food on my front door step before I had answered the door and rode off without waiting it could've have been nicked if I wasn't as quick as I was I'm not happy and want it dealt with

It was a birthday gift whereas half the food arrived & the cake was not fresh atall. It really ruined the day from the start.

Can't fault Costa for a panini and latte for lunch!

Most of my order is missing. Staff not answering the phones. Unable to rectify this. The 1 item I did receive was the wrong drink. Abysmal.

Nice place,nice staff.Disappointed with the amusement arcade.Quite expensive.Kids like 2p and 10p machines,not 1 or 2 pounds.

First time in this Costa, only had a hot drink and cake. Didn't have to wait too long for service.

Convenient near town centre corre shop serving a great selection of drinks and cakes etc.

The food was good but yet again an item was missed off the order. It was last time as well so thought I’d give them a second chance and this time they forgot the tiffin. Not happy! My additional note even said make sure all the order was there but it wasn’t.

An item was missing from my order

Only coffee turned up on a £65 order. Thought the driver had missed some bags. Drove to Costa to be told that they did not have any food to fulfil the order so never sent it.

It said 15-25 mins delivery it tuned up a hour after ordering freezing cold

Food is overpriced, and service was slow but is nice in there.

Toilet is inadequate , filthy & unhygienic.

Only ordered drinks but noticed that a lot of the food was 50% off. Service was quick drinks were ok and just about hot enough as I ordered extra hot. The staff were very friendly and the cafe was clean and looked as if it had been refurbished recently.

The order was missing an item. But it was the first time this happened. The food and drinks were as high a quality as ever and the driver was slightly ahead of schedule and very polite.

The food we wanted wasn’t available, so instead of replacing it, calling to advise or refunding, they did nothing and continued to charge us for food we never received.

We were short an item again. But it always seems to be the same thing that is missing. Which leaves me with an unhappy girl.

No sandwiches available at 12.15. only hot sandwiches advertised but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have those either. Was told I couldn't put two tables together to be able to sit with my children and there were no available 4 seat tables. Appalled at the lack of customer service

The delivery was on time by a very polite driver. The food quality was as good as ever.

I not sure if when I visited they were short staffed or if its alway like this but the table I sat at was sticky and dirty other tables around us looked the same the comfortable chairs have seen better days and probably could do with a clean or even new ones.... the service at the tills was good but very rushed and pushed through. Hit and miss one here I think 🤔

.order not correct wrong muffin ordered blueberry recieved lemon. Also ordered 1 late with extra shot and 1 americano. Received 1 americanos!!!

Food was high quality as always. And an ideal temperature to eat as always.

Ordered a caramel latte and cappuccino and instead just got 2 cappuccinos

Drinks weren't great, luke warm. However, the worst part was the state of the toilets. Looked like they had not been cleaned all year! Rubbish all over the floor, taps didn't work, sink covered in dust. What looked like a dirty nappy on the changing table and smelt; not sure when the bin was last emptied. Used at 11am on Sun morning. Reported it to staff member who said they were last cleaned the night before (no way) and that he would attend to it straight away. I was there for another 30 mins and absolutely no effort was made to inspect them, let alone clean them. There were 4 members of staff working and no queue at time of reporting, so definitely had the capacity to clean them!

Good customer service but price a little high

Ordered chocolate orange hot chocolate and wasn't very nice or hot, and the chocolate was on the side not on the chocolate as shown in picture on ad board

Not on time! Didn’t even arrive. Said delivered but nothing here. No contact number no tracking info! This is appalling. Another £15 gone again, don’t you think i deserve some sort of compensation!

How do I tip people that drive about in the icy conditions they deserve it plus it's Xmas period. I would like to give them a bonus

Came here for breakfast having had a long morning. Coffee nice but slow (think they forgot my drink as the barista had to be reminded) . Bacon roll hot and filled me up. I've been to better but did what I wanted it to and I would come back.

what has happened to this branch of costas. are costas too rich now to look after there shops. do they not care anymore ??? i had the misfortune to enter this place ( the outside was as bad!!) the staff: rude. the cafe: filthy beyond belief. this is a very big deal of a cafe. the footfall here is vast per day... you would of thought they would care more but then it is run now by M &S so they dont care do they ??? the toilets here are disgusting!! eewww!!!! DONT GO!!!

Dropped in with the family for drinks and cake. All good. Decent as always. Staff were helpful

Brilliant place to have a coffee

Decent Costa. Guy making chilled drinks was so busy many orders were getting mixed up. I did wait around 15 mins for my drink that was lost.

Went into the costa in town today and the lady serving me was really rude and patronising when asking what i wanted, terrible service from this one women in particular, i felt uncomfortable being in there.

Popped in for a coffee, tea and hot chocolate accompanied by a teacake each. Usual good standard. The hot chocolate was better than a lot we've had at Costa recently which have been lacking in chocolate.

First time visit to Taunton, and in particular this Costa Coffee. Had our "usual" lattes. The staff were friendly. Seating was spacious. It's great that they have a ramp installed, for easy mobility and pushchair access. The disabled toilet is large and reasonably clean. Before going home, we decided to have a frappe each.

Often pop in to Costa for breakfast, love their granary bread and a flat white 😊

For the 1st time after Covid and the old staff leaving I was really angry angry disappointed with the service and the look of the place. The floor was dirty and the tables were not cleared of the used cups and dishes I had to clear my table in order to eat my sandwich and drink my coffee. Also the young man and young woman seemed to be more interested in chatting to each other rather than concentrate in the job at hand. There was a delivery which came in to the premises from the Lateral door which had to be kept opened until the the delivery man left with his metal container, however afterwards there was no attempt by the staff to shut the door as it should have been done. Although it was not a cold afternoon there was still a draught which was not pleasant to endure and as a result I left before I could de sandwich and coffee settle down!!!! The venue needs a person in charge to keep an eye on the service.

It's a Costa so you know what your going to get... as with some chains customer service can be hit or miss...

Lovely clean coasta. Staff are fab! Polite really helpful. Small counter area so can get really squishy at certain times. Quite a bit of seating. 👍

Strange way of serving, once ready, they put it on a table in the middle of where everyone is queuing! Toilets disgusting as well, but then that's not unusual for this chain.

Seemed like new member of staff trying their best.not much help from other staff.

I love a costa. Professional as usual and a lovely mocha. Everyone was being considerate by wearing masks. Will definitely visit again.

Slow service and I ordered a drink clearly stating soya yet they gave me full fat milk. Went to go and say something about it but they gave me one with soya just they still expecting me pay for another drink…. Bit disappointing if you ask me

Pretty average Costa but very clear in and out directions during the Lockdown period.

There was a hair on my chocolate twirl cake 🥺 but other than that issue.. the staff are always lovely and they're amazing at keeping customers safe by making sure they social distance properly.

Yes the coffee shop is OK but the toilets and really need to be cleaned in the deh is well not just at night because they absolutely stink

Went to this Costa again. I enjoy the surroundings and service of the staff in this Costa. They make an excellent flat white, probably the best in any Costa I’ve been to.
